Abstract

Financing with mudharabah contracts at KSPPS BMT Tamzis Bina Utama has risks caused by member deviations during financing or negative character of members. This occurs due to member negligence, breach of contract, and internal management of the institution, which can result in losses. Thus it is necessary to mitigate these risks. So, this study uses a qualitative method to look at how the KSPPS BMT Tamzis Bina Utama Magelang City Branch lowers the risks of mudharabah financing. The results of the study indicate that in the process of analyzing financing feasibility, Tamzis has collaborated with PT Pefindo (a credit score that shows the profile of whether members or institutions qualify for financing). Surveys on business feasibility, capacity, collateral, character, capital and economic conditions are also carried out. There are life, health and capital insurance programs (specifically for post-mejeur risk). As for mitigating the possibility of problematic financing, Tamzis has formed a reserve fund whose procedures and amounts follow applicable regulations (DSN Fatwa No: 18 / DSN-MUI / IX / 2000).

Abstract

Background: This dissertation is motivated by the increasing number of educational institutions incorporating the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an curriculum into their school programs. Parental awareness of the importance of Tahfidz Al-Qur’an education as a vital provision for their children’s lives is growing. SMP Muhammadiyah 22 Setiabudi Pamulang, South Tangerang City, has garnered particular attention from parents. The modern societal trend towards instant gratification, practicality, and speed may influence students’ self-reliance in learning. Such tendencies can lead to rule-breaking, neglect of moral values, careless work habits, and dependence on others. Objective: The study aims to explain the methods, materials, media, and models of Tahfidz Al-Qur’an learning to foster interest and independence in student learning. This research seeks to develop a comprehensive approach by combining various Tahfidz methods to strengthen and complement each other, thereby achieving optimal memorization results. Methods: The research employs a qualitative methodology. Participants include the school principal and vice-principal, Tahfidz class guardians, Tahfidz mentors, students, and religious figures. Through detailed analysis, the study endeavors to outline a new model for Tahfidz Al-Qur’an learning that addresses the needs and expectations of modern educational environments. Results: The study identifies effective strategies and practices for teaching Tahfidz Al-Qur’an, emphasizing the importance of integrating diverse methods to enhance student engagement and independence. The findings highlight the critical role of a supportive learning environment and the integration of traditional and modern teaching techniques. Conclusion: The research concludes that a new model for Tahfidz Al-Qur’an learning is essential and highly anticipated. This model should incorporate varied teaching methods, materials, and media to foster greater interest and self-reliance among students in their memorization of the Qur’an.

Abstract

This International Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to foster entrepreneurship potential among students at the Kota Kinabalu Indonesian School (SIKK), Sabah, Malaysia. The primary challenge facing SIKK alumni is restricted access to formal employment in Malaysia due to citizenship documentation constraints. Meanwhile, abundant local resources remain underutilized as a pathway toward economic independence. The execution method adopts an integrated approach consisting of initial observation, sustainable entrepreneurship training, technical guidance on developing local resource-based products, and marketing management mentoring. The expected outcome of this program is an enhancement in students' practical understanding and capacity to identify business opportunities, innovate products from local raw materials, and apply modern marketing strategies effectively. By cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, SIKK students are expected to become independent, resilient, and competitive entrepreneurs after completing their formal education.
