Abstract

a leadership crisis in the world of education that has not been able to be developed properly, so that educational goals have not been achieved. One of the reasons is that educational institutions (schools) do not pay proper attention to the development of students' talents and interests, especially in OSDC (extracurricular) activities. This research aims to describe OSDC violations and various activities that support the development of student leadership talents at PONPES Darunnajah 2. Qualitative research methods commonly used to obtain data are interviews, observation, and use of documentation. Research results: The OSIS at PONPES Darunnajah 2 is called the Darunnajah Cipining Santri Organization (OSDC). teachers in educating students from waking up until going back to sleep. OSDC is a means for students to develop their leadership talents through various activities at OSDC, various OSDC are: muhadoroh, scouts, committees for various events, as well as management in dormitories. PONPES Darunnajah 2 in carrying out its educational process is based on the five souls of PONPES, namely: the soul of sincerity, the spirit of simplicity, the spirit of independence, the spirit of Islamic ukhuwah, and the spirit of freedom

Abstract

This paper analyzes how cultural influences affect organizational innovation success level by carrying out a qualitative case study in an organization in the technology industry. Whereas the previous literature has focused on structural forces and resource distribution as the main sources of innovation, this study identifies some of the cultural aspects that mediate and precondition the said mechanisms. Based on the results of the in-depth interviews followed by the thematic analysis, four culturally overlapping factors were identified: psychological safety, across the boundary collaboration, leadership empowerment and navigation of tensions between flexibility and control. Taken together this comprises the cultural infrastructure within which innovation practices are played out. The article presents the psychological safety as a strategic resource that facilitates rapid experimentation, collaboration across division of power as a tool of integrating knowledge, leadership empowerment as a culture signal to increase risk taking and recognition and that structural tensions cannot and should not be resolved. These results not only expand management theory with a conceptualization of culture as a micro foundation of dynamic capabilities and a demonstration of how the dynamics of the innovation paradoxes are negotiated socially at the team level. The findings have implications of cultural stewardship to practitioners: leaders need to deliberately foster a set of norms around the trust, inclusivity, and adaptive governance to maintain innovation through a rapidly-changing technological landscape. Despite being constrained by the parameters of a single-case study, the study provides transferable knowledge about the role of culture as the operating system of innovation, and that too, can create not only incremental changes but also transformative changes in the field of management of technology-driven organizations.

Abstract

Background: The integration of 21st-century skills into educational systems is crucial for preparing students for the global era. Modern Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Indonesia face the challenge of balancing traditional Islamic education with contemporary skill development. Purpose: This study aims to examine the implementation of 21st-century skills development in modern pesantren, identify challenges, and explore effective strategies for integration. Method: A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving three modern pesantren in Java. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, document analysis, and focus group discussions. Thematic analysis was used to interpret the data. Results: Modern pesantren have implemented various programs to develop critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and digital literacy skills. However, they face challenges including limited resources, resistance to change, and concerns about preserving traditional values. Effective strategies identified include integrated curriculum development, teacher training, external partnerships, mentoring programs, and judicious use of technology. Conclusion: Modern pesantren demonstrate significant potential in integrating 21st-century skills while maintaining their core Islamic values. The study recommends collaborative efforts among pesantren, government, researchers, and the community to support this educational transformation and enhance the relevance of pesantren education in the global era.

Abstract

This research intends to explore how the quality of external audits and effective corporate governance influence earnings management, with leverage acting as a moderating factor. The investigation focused on companies in the infrastructure sector that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2023. The analytical method utilized in this study is SmartPLS 4 to evaluate the suggested hypotheses. The sample population for this research includes infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange within the timeframe of 2020 to 2023. The non-probability sampling technique, specifically purposive sampling, resulted in a final sample of 58 firms. Findings from the study reveal that the quality of external audits and effective corporate governance do not impact earnings management, either directly or when leverage is considered as a moderate factor. Moreover, the results indicate that leverage does not diminish the influence of external audit quality and corporate governance on earnings management.

Abstract

LPK Amanah Citra Cemerlang (ACC Japan Centre) merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang menyediakan program pelatihan kerja ke Jepang. Seiring perkembangan teknologi informasi, banyak lembaga mulai beralih dari proses pendaftaran manual ke sistem digital berbasis website. Sistem pendaftaran yang diterapkan oleh LPK ACC Japan Centre saat ini menggunakan formulir digital melalui website resminya. Namun, dalam implementasinya masih ditemukan beberapa kendala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis formulir pendaftaran yang terdapat di website perusahaan Lpk acc japan center untuk melakukan analisis seperti ketidakjelasan instruksi pengisian dan belum adanya fitur bantu seperti tutorial atau panduan pengisian. Permasalahan ini menimbulkan gagasan untuk melakukan analisis terhadap efektivitas dan kemudahan penggunaan formulir pendaftaran tersebut.Dengan perbaikan pada aspek-aspek tersebut, formulir pendaftaran dapat lebih optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan baffle fiber steel pada cerobong alat pembakar sampah portabel untuk menurunkan kadar emisi gas dan opasitas asap pembakaran. Permasalahan timbunan sampah di Indonesia, khususnya di Kota Tegal yang mencapai 200 ton per hari, menuntut solusi efektif yang ramah lingkungan. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental dengan membandingkan performa insinerator portabel yang menggunakan baffle fiber steel dan tidak menggunakan baffle fiber steel. Parameter yang diamati meliputi laju pembakaran, laju aliran udara, kadar gas CO dan CO₂, serta hasil redemen abu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan baffle fiber steel mampu menurunkan kadar CO rata-rata sebesar 45,8% dan kadar CO₂ sebesar 23,6%, serta menghasilkan pembakaran yang lebih stabil dan minim asap. Laju pembakaran pada alat tanpa baffle mencapai 20 kg/jam, sedangkan pada alat dengan baffle menurun menjadi 12 kg/jam, namun menghasilkan pembakaran yang lebih bersih. Desain ini menunjukkan potensi besar untuk diterapkan pada sistem pengelolaan sampah skala rumah tangga yang efisien dan ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Proses perkuliahan menempatkan mahasiswa pada beragam tuntutan akademik yang menuntut kesiapan mental, kemampuan adaptasi, serta pengelolaan waktu yang efektif. Ketika tuntutan tersebut dirasakan melampaui kapasitas individu, tekanan akademik dapat berkembang menjadi stres yang memengaruhi keterlibatan belajar dan kondisi psikologis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyajikan pemetaan tingkat stres akademik mahasiswa tanpa melakukan pengujian hubungan sebab akibat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring yang diisi oleh 24 mahasiswa dari beberapa perguruan tinggi. Seluruh data dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak JASP dan diringkas melalui statistik deskriptif berupa distribusi frekuensi, persentase, serta penyajian grafik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden berada pada kategori stres akademik sedang, sementara sisanya tersebar pada kategori stres rendah, tinggi, dan sangat tinggi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa stres akademik merupakan pengalaman yang umum di kalangan mahasiswa dengan tingkat intensitas yang bervariasi. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar awal bagi institusi pendidikan dalam meninjau kebijakan akademik dan memperkuat dukungan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa.

Abstract

Islamic education today stands at a crossroads between preserving tradition (al-turāts) and the demands of modernity (al-ḥadītsah). Entering the third decade of the 21st century, the challenges faced have evolved from the VUCA era to the BANI era (brittle, anxiety, non-linear, incomprehensible), which is characterised by uncertainty and high complexity. These conditions require Islamic educational institutions to have organisational resilience so that they do not experience entropy or systemic decline. This study aims to describe the organisational strategies of Islamic education in facing the challenges of the contemporary era through the Systems Theory and Contingency Theory approaches. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive-critical analysis design. The results of the study indicate that, from the perspective of Systems Theory, Islamic educational organisations need to function as open systems that integrate Islamic values as a spiritual anchor with the use of modern technology, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence, as a new source of energy (negative entropy). Meanwhile, Contingency Theory emphasises the importance of situational and flexible managerial adaptation, including a shift from rigid bureaucratic structures to more organic and responsive structures through the mechanism of shura. The synthesis of these two approaches gives rise to the concept of managerial tajdīd, which balances the stability of transcendental values with operational agility to produce relevant insan kāmil in the digital age
