Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil analisis kebutuhan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran Software Construct 2 pada mata pelajaran Peredaran Darah Manusia. Analisis kebutuhan siswa ini difokuskan pada siswa sekolah menengah Pertama di kota Pekanbaru. Metode yang dipilih untuk pengumpulan data adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data adalah responden siswa sekolah menengah Pertama di kota Pekanbaru yang dipilih secara acak di kelas VIII dan terdiri atas 20 orang responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan pengisian kuesioner berupa angket. Hasil data kuesioner ini kemudian diolah dan diubah menjadi persentase dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik.. Analisis kebutuhan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran melalui Software Construt 2 dalam Pembuatan Game edukasi berbasis Platform game untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran dengan game edukasi sangat dibutuhkan dan siswa merasa tertarik dengan menggunakan Platform game tersebut sebagai media pembelajaran. Hal ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan pada persentase pernyataan Ya terhadap pembuatan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk platform game pada mata pelajaran Peredaran darah manusia, yaitu pada persentase 95% . Hasil analisis kebutuhan siswa ini akan digunakan untuk perancangan media pembelajaran berbasis platform game dengan menggunakan software Construct 2 pada mata pelajaran Peredaran darah manusia untuk tingkat sekolah menengah pertama di kota Pekanbaru

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of students of SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru based on gender differences in the context of biology learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research sample included all grade XI students, consisting of 69 male students and 81 female students. The results of the study indicate that teachers have used critical thinking-based questions in learning evaluations, although they have not been fully guided by clear indicators. Based on interviews, students from science classes find it easier to solve questions than students from business classes, who find the questions more difficult. The conclusion of this study is that although critical thinking skills have begun to be applied, the development of structured indicators and adjustments to the level of difficulty of questions need to be done to support students' critical thinking skills optimally.

Abstract

This paper is developmental research, which aims to produce environmental-based teaching materials on valid clean and healthy living environment learning material. The developmental research uses the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection instrument used was a validated validation sheet. The data were obtained by validating the validation from material, media, and learning experts on the modules developed by conducting limited validity trials. Data analysis was analyzed through the quantitative description. The validation results of the material expert indicate that the developed teaching materials were very valid with an average percentage of 96%. The media expert validation results show that the developed teaching materials were very valid with an average percentage of 100%. The validation results of learning experts imply that the developed teaching materials were very valid with an average percentage of 100%. Based on the experts’ validation results, an environment of clean and healthy living material-based module product was obtained with a very valid category used in learning.
