Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the role of the village government in improving public services in the Keboansikep village community, in order to find out the problems in improving services through the role of government. The approach taken in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach by conducting interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis model according to Miles and Huberman (1992) uses data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that, firstly, the objectives implemented by archiving management in Keboansikep Village are trying to provide better public services for the people in Keboansikep village so that they can easily access the information needed such as population documents, birth certificates and other important documents. Second, this IT training was carried out to help increase the capacity of human resources in Keboansikep village in managing information technology in order to increase the accessibility of information to the community easily. Through the creation of sustainable village website content, positive changes can occur in the dynamics of village communication and development, towards a more advanced, connected and inclusive direction. Third, the use of social media services which can provide many benefits for the community and village government agencies in achieving goals. program. With the existence of social media services such as Instagram, it can be used to introduce the advantages of villages to the wider community

Abstract

This article discusses the transformation of archiving management from manual to digital systems at SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Dynamic Archiving Information System (SIKD) in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of archive management. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of SIKD has a positive impact on archive management, including increasing accessibility, security, and time efficiency. However, there are several challenges such as the lack of trained human resources and adequate infrastructure. In conclusion, digital transformation in archiving management is very important to support smooth administration and decision making in the educational environment.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Adiwiyata program at SMAN 1 Wonoayu, Sidoarjo. The focus of this research is the factors that influence the effectiveness of its implementation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach. Apart from that, this research collected data through interviews with school principals, the Adiwiyata team, teachers and students, as well as field observations and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles & Huberman technique, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the Adiwiyata program at SMA Negeri 1 Wonoayu has been running well, but there are several problems that need to be overcome. Limited financial resources are the main obstacle in providing adequate facilities and infrastructure. Apart from that, the lack of socialization and direction regarding plant breeding techniques to the new Adiwiyata team also hindered the effectiveness of the program. The implication of this research is the need to increase budget allocations for the Adiwiyata program as well as strengthening socialization and technical training for the implementing team. In this way, it is hoped that the implementation of the Adiwiyata program can run more optimally and contribute to increasing awareness and participation of all school residents in environmental conservation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti dampak pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Tanjung Mekar terhadap peningkatan pendapatan asli desa di Karangtanjung. Menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan fungsi-fungsi manajemen—perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian. Data dikumpulkan melalui sampling purposif yang melibatkan pejabat desa dan anggota BUMDes. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun perencanaan awal dilakukan secara menyeluruh, tantangan organisasi dan keterlibatan komunitas yang terbatas menghambat efektivitas. Studi ini menyoroti kebutuhan akan peningkatan pelatihan manajemen dan keterlibatan komunitas untuk meningkatkan potensi peningkatan pendapatan BUMDes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi kualitas layanan promosi di Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Sidoarjo, dengan fokus pada tantangan proses promosi manual dan solusi inovatif yang diterapkan untuk mengatasinya. Sistem Pengelolaan Kenaikan Pangkat (SIPEKAT) diperkenalkan untuk memperstreamline operasi, memanfaatkan teknologi untuk meminimalisir penggunaan kertas dan meningkatkan efisiensi layanan. Menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran, penelitian ini menggabungkan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan metode servqual dengan analisis kualitatif melalui model data interaktif. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat beberapa ketidaksesuaian dalam kualifikasi pegawai dan masalah jaringan sesekali, kualitas layanan promosi secara signifikan telah ditingkatkan, selaras dengan keputusan kabupaten Sidoarjo tentang pengelolaan promosi. Studi ini menekankan peran kritikal integrasi teknologi dan pelatihan khusus dalam memajukan layanan administratif berbasis online, merefleksikan implikasi yang lebih luas untuk efisiensi administratif di lembaga pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

The Sidoarjo Mudflow disaster is an event of hot mud eruption that has heavy metal components that can pollute the soil, resulting in reduced soil fertility in areas near the Sidoarjo Mudflow disaster. The Sidoarjo Mudflow disaster has had a wide impact on the socio-economic life of residents and business activities in the surrounding area due to the damage to the environmental ecosystem after the disaster. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of the Ketapang village government in restoring the environmental ecosystem after the Sidoarjo mudflow disaster. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data analysis techniques using interactive models including data collection, data reduction, data analysis and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Ketapang village government has played a role as a stabilizer, innovator, modernizer, pioneer, and implementer itself in development activities by involving various parties including village officials, traditional leaders, students, Babinsa, Babinkamtibmas and the Sidoarjo Regency Environmental and Sanitation Service (DLHK).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi strategi pengelolaan arsip yang digunakan di Desa Pelatihan, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, untuk meningkatkan kinerja pemerintah, khususnya dalam bidang konservasi tulang. Meskipun proses kearsipan yang efektif telah diakui, masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam memahami dampak langsungnya terhadap efisiensi operasional di tingkat desa. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan sumber-sumber daring. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya proses pengarsipan terstruktur yang terdiri dari tahap pembuatan, penyimpanan, pencarian, pemindahan, dan pemusnahan, yang secara kolektif meningkatkan aksesibilitas dokumen dan alur kerja operasional. Namun, keterbatasan sumber daya menghadirkan tantangan yang berkelanjutan. Studi ini menggarisbawahi peran penting pengelolaan arsip yang sistematis dalam meningkatkan efektivitas tata kelola pemerintahan desa, serta menunjukkan area potensial untuk optimalisasi sumber daya dan peningkatan kebijakan.

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini mengeksplorasi implementasi kebijakan Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) di SMP Negeri 3 Krian, Kota Sidoarjo. Meskipun bertujuan untuk pemerataan pendidikan dengan membantu siswa kurang mampu dalam hal biaya sekolah dari sekolah dasar hingga sekolah menengah atas, penelitian ini menunjukkan implementasi yang kurang optimal. Data dikumpulkan melalui tinjauan peraturan perundang-undangan, wawancara, dan observasi, dengan informan yang dipilih secara purposif. Analisis yang dilakukan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan menunjukkan adanya kekurangan dalam sosialisasi PIP, penggunaan dana yang tidak tepat, dan tantangan dalam memverifikasi penggunaan dana. Studi ini menyoroti perlunya perbaikan strategi implementasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas PIP dalam mendukung pendidikan siswa yang kurang mampu, yang berimplikasi pada para pembuat kebijakan dan pemangku kepentingan di bidang pendidikan.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the Village Asset Management System (SIPADES) in Tambak Kalisogo Village. The purpose of this study is to determine how the village asset management system (SIPADES) is implemented in Tambak Kalisogo Village. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, using Edward III's policy implementation theory (1980) involving four main indicators, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of (SIPADES) in Tambak Kalisogo Village has not been fully optimized. Ineffective communication, minimal socialization regarding system updates, and poor monitoring by relevant agencies are the main obstacles. However, competent human resources and adequate facilities support the success of this system. To improve the implementation of the Village Asset Management System (SIPADES), ongoing technical guidance, more intensive monitoring, and improved coordination between village governments and relevant agencies are needed.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the food security program in Pagerwojo Village, Buduran District, Sidoarjo Regency through horticultural plant cultivation. This program aims to increase food independence and improve the welfare of the Pagerwojo Village community. However, the implementation of the food security program in Pagerwojo Village faces various obstacles such as the absence of bookkeeping for harvest results which makes it difficult to measure productivity, the absence of technology in storing harvest results, and the lack of adequate training for community group members in managing horticultural crops. The methodology is a qualitative, descriptive technique. The six variables in this study—policy standards and targets, resources, implementing agent characteristics, inter-organizational communication, implementers' attitudes, and economic, social, and political environments—were examined using Van Metre and Van Horn's theory of public policy implementation.Based on the results of the study, it shows that although the implementation of the food security program experienced several obstacles, community involvement, economic support, and appropriate political policies have made Pagerwojo Village an example of how food security programs can be implemented effectively in a rural context.
