Abstract

The general background highlights the growing need for community involvement in safeguarding human rights and maintaining social stability, particularly in the context of regional apparatus empowerment. The specific background focuses on the role of Satlinmas in Candi District, where community members are organized to take an active part in protecting citizens against human rights violations. Despite existing research on community empowerment, there remains a knowledge gap regarding the effectiveness of Satlinmas in achieving these goals. This study aims to investigate how Satlinmas empowerment contributes to maintaining public order and security through a framework called Tri Bina, which encompasses Human Development, Business Development, and Environmental Development. The results indicate that Satlinmas has successfully enhanced community capacity through training and education, supported local businesses by ensuring a conducive environment for economic activities, and engaged in environmental preservation efforts. The novelty of this research lies in its comprehensive approach to community empowerment, emphasizing the interconnectedness of various developmental aspects. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of integrating community protection units into broader public safety strategies, highlighting the potential for improved community resilience and collaboration in safeguarding rights and maintaining order. Abstract

The general background increasing number of elderly in society requires effective welfare programs to meet their specific needs. Specific background in Indonesia, the Food Program of the Ministry of Social Affairs aims to provide essential nutritional support for this demographic group. Knowledge gap although this program has been implemented, there is still a lack of comprehensive analysis regarding its effectiveness and reach, especially in the Sidoarjo District. This study aims to fill this knowledge gap by evaluating the program through descriptive qualitative methods, including observation and interviews. Results findings indicate that the implementers' understanding of the program has improved due to socialization activities. Positive changes have been recorded among beneficiaries, demonstrating the program's potential to improve the welfare of the elderly. The novelty of this study lies in the comprehensive assessment of the components of the Food Program. Implications these findings can serve as a guide for improving and adapting social welfare programs in the future, emphasizing the importance of addressing the welfare of the elderly in community development initiatives. Abstract

This study investigates the quality of Maternal and Child Health (MCH) services at Prambon Health Center in Sidoarjo Regency and identifies inhibiting factors. Using qualitative methods, data was gathered through interviews, observation, and documentation. Findings reveal satisfactory levels of responsiveness, guarantees, and empathy, but deficiencies in reliability and physical evidence due to incomplete ultrasound equipment and a shortage of health workers. Addressing these issues is crucial for enhancing MCH service quality and improving health outcomes in the community. Abstract

This study examines the management of BUMDes Sedayu Prima Makmur in Kludan Village, Sidoarjo, identifying issues that hinder significant progress. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis revealed that while goal-setting and procedures are well-implemented, poor marketing limits product visibility. Organizational challenges include a lack of management members and insufficient village government knowledge about BUMDes. Despite good guidance and coordination, supervision is weak due to the absence of annual reports and limited village government involvement. The study highlights areas for improvement to enhance BUMDes performance and support village economic development. Highlight: Effective planning is hindered by poor marketing of existing programs. Organizational structure suffers from insufficient management members. Supervision lacks due to absence of annual reports and limited involvement. Abstract

This research aims to find out, analyze, and describe the effectiveness of the application of the Social Welfare Information System - Next Generation (SIKS-NG) application in proposing social assistance. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study were determined by purposive sampling, namely the Keper Village SIKS-NG operator, Mr. Imam Sugiantoro as the Head of the Welfare Section. The results of the research adjusted to the theory of Richard M. Steers show that in the adaptation indicator there are still obstacles in the lack of training, system update problems, and technical constraints. In the goal achievement indicator, there is a mismatch between the data on beneficiaries proposed by the village and those that come down from the center. And the integration indicator shows that there is a lack of socialization related to this application so that community involvement in proposing beneficiaries is also lacking.

Abstract

Gowaslu's innovation in increasing the effectiveness of election supervision at the East Java Election Supervisory Board is a form of improving the quality of public services in election supervision through e-government to be effective and efficient. In addition, the creation of an e-government-based Gowaslu application that is used for reporting election violations. So that it makes the community and the East Java Bawaslu to be participatory in responding to it. However, there are still many people who do not know the Gowaslu application and its uses.

Abstract

Stipulated in the 1945 Constitution, the implementation of public services in Indonesia is an effort to fulfill the basic needs and rights of every citizen. In fact, efforts to provide public services have not run optimally, especially in agencies that provide public services. One of them is the provision of clean water services at the Waru II Branch of Drinking Water Company, Sidoarjo Regency. The purpose of the study was to measure the quality of service at the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) "Delta Tirta" Waru II Branch, Sidoarjo Regency. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The results of this study indicate that the quality of service affects the performance assessment of the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) "Delta Tirta" Waru II Branch Sidoarjo Regency shows that the quality of the service of PDAM Waru II Branch Sidoarjo Regency reaches (4.01). Based on the results of calculations using the servqual method on 5 indicators of public service quality assessment: 1. Tangible has an average score of performance (3.78), 2. Reliability has an average score of performance (4.29), 3. Responsiveness has an average score performance average (3.69), 4. Assurance has an average performance score (4.26), and Empathy has an average performance score (4.22).

Abstract

PDAM Delta Tirta customers expressed complaints that the water does not flow, the water only flows at night, until the water does not flow for several days, and so on. Furthermore, regarding the quantity, the customers complained that the water that came out was small, and for the quality of the water, the customers complained that the water was cloudy yellow to black and smelly. This study aims to describe the quality of drinking water supply services at PDAM Delta Tirta Sidoarjo. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques obtained are interviews, field observations and documentation. The quality of drinking water supply services at PDAM Delta Tirta Sidoarjo is quite good but needs improvement and improvement in the dimensions of responsiveness. And there are still several obstacles, including the continuity of water flow not being carried out properly, leak sensors are only found in large pipes, cost certainty is disrupted during PSBB during the Covid-19 pandemic, and customer complaints do not receive any follow-up.

Abstract

Technology is dominating and experiencing rapid development so that public services that are very important for bureaucratic reform are public relations services. Public Relations plays a role in managing information openly and easily accessible to the public so as to realize a transparent, effective, efficient, accountable and accountable state administration. Every Public Agency has the authority to disclose public information, so that the existence of public information disclosure rules for the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD is very important in forming a positive image to the public or society. The method used is descriptive qualitative data obtained through observation, documentation, interviews and using sources from books, journals, and policy documents. The results of this study indicate that the simplification of the automation of management carried out, especially in the field of public relations at the Secretariat of the DPRD Kab. Sidoarjo media facilities Website, Mata Delta application, Instagram and Facebook are still in the process of being repaired and the human resources that manage them are still minimal.

Abstract

Improving public services organized by hospital agencies is often a community demand. In general, the cause is an imbalance between the number of service requests and the hospital's ability to meet these needs. As a result, service recipients often criticize the services they receive. This study aims to determine and analyze the Physical Evidence (tangibles) in Class III Inpatient Services Bhayangkara Pusdik Sabhara Porong Hospital, Sidoarjo Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that physical evidence (tangibles) in Class III Inpatient Services at Bhayangkara Pusdik Sabhara Porong Hospital, Sidoarjo Regency was running quite well, in terms of the administrative service process that was not difficult, the condition of the sleeping facilities was quite good and comfortable, but still needs attention. and improved regarding the number of inadequate bed facilities, cleanliness and additional chairs for the patient's family.
