Abstract

This article discusses the development of MSME potential in Legok Harendong Village, Bandung Regency, through the use of social media and digital distribution. This area is famous for its honey orange commodities and Arabica and Robusta coffee, which thrive due to the hilly geographical conditions and the dominance of the community as farmers. However, limited infrastructure, digital literacy, and marketing strategies are the main challenges for MSMEs in developing their businesses. This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of MSME actors, particularly Elgeha coffee entrepreneurs, through digital marketing socialization, social media content training (including Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp), and product catalog creation on e-commerce platforms. The approach used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which is a collaborative approach that actively involves MSME actors in the process of identifying problems, training, and mentoring in digital marketing based on social media. The results show an increase in business knowledge and ability in using digital media for promotion and distribution. In addition, the formation of a coffee lover community is bold, which expands networks and market potential. This program shows that digital transformation at the village MSME level can be an effective strategy in strengthening competitiveness and accelerating local economic growth sustainably.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Human Capital Efficiency (HCE), Return on Assets (ROA), Earnings per Share (EPS), and Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER) on Market Value Added (MVA) in companies listed in the IDX30 index for the period 2020–2024. The phenomenon of negative MVA among large-capitalization companies underscores the importance of integrating financial and non-financial (human capital) performance indicators in corporate valuation. This research employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample was selected using purposive sampling from IDX30 companies that consistently published financial statements throughout the observation period. The results indicate that Return on Assets (ROA) has a positive and significant effect on MVA. Conversely, Human Capital Efficiency (HCE) and Earnings per Share (EPS) have a negative and significant effect on MVA, while Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER) shows no significant influence. These findings suggest that Indonesian capital market investors respond more favorably to profitability based on operational asset management (ROA) rather than human capital efficiency or the magnitude of earnings per share. The negative results for HCE and EPS signal that high human capital efficiency or earnings per share, if not accompanied by revenue growth, may be perceived negatively by the market. This study implies that management should prioritize operational asset optimization and long-term human capital investment rather than merely pursuing cost efficiency ratios.

Abstract

The adoption of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) has become an essential strategy for hospitals to enhance operational efficiency and improve the accuracy of medical documentation. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of EMR implementation is influenced not only by technological infrastructure but also by the level of acceptance among users, particularly nurses who interact with the system on a daily basis. This study investigates nurses’ acceptance of EMR at Purbowangi General Hospital, Kebumen, by applying the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework. A quantitative survey design was employed, with data collected through questionnaires administered to all nurses actively using the EMR system. The study examined performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions as independent variables, while behavioral intention and use behavior were treated as outcome variables. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability testing, followed by multiple linear regression analysis. The findings reveal that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence significantly and positively influence nurses’ intention to use EMR. In addition, behavioral intention was found to have a significant effect on actual EMR usage behavior. These results support the relevance of the UTAUT model in explaining technology acceptance in hospital environments and emphasize the need for effective training, user-friendly system design, and strong organizational support to promote sustainable EMR implementation.

Abstract

High turnover can disrupt operations, reduce service quality, and increase recruitment and training costs. Therefore, appropriate managerial strategies are essential to improve retention and support optimal healthcare facility operations. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of career development, skills, and job evaluation on employee retention. This study aimed to examine the influence of career development, skills, and job evaluation on employee retention. A quantitative research approach was employed using a structured questionnaire distributed to 149 employees. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results showed an F-test value of 0.000, meaning that career development, skills, and job evaluation together have a significant influence on employee retention. In addition, the T-test results obtained job evaluation (Sig. 0.000), skills (Sig. 0.000), and career development (Sig. 0.067). It was concluded that there was a significant influence of job evaluation and skills. Meanwhile, career development did not have a significant effect on employee retention. The study implies that hospital management should prioritize continuous training programs, competency enhancement initiatives, and objective performance evaluation systems to strengthen employee retention and maintain the quality and stability of healthcare services.

Abstract

Primary Clinics serve as the first line of healthcare delivery, providing basic, promotive, and preventive services to the community. Meeting accreditation standards remains a persistent challenge for these facilities, particularly in the area of human resource quality. This study aimed to analyze the quality of human resources, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and formulate a capacity-building-based human resource development strategy at Klinik Pratama Serambi Mojokerto, a relatively new primary clinic in Mojokerto Regency, East Java. A qualitative case study was conducted from August to October 2025, using in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document review. Thematic analysis was applied to identify patterns related to human resource quality, barriers, and development strategies. The findings indicate that the clinic has implemented a structured and competency-based human resource management system, covering workload-based planning, selective recruitment, targeted orientation, and continuous training. Strengths include complete staff qualifications, well-organized administration, and strong management commitment. Remaining gaps involve limited support staff, incomplete performance assessments, and undocumented internal audits. These findings suggest that integrating human resource planning, competency development, and systematic evaluation into a unified capacity-building framework can meaningfully support accreditation readiness, even in resource-limited settings. The results offer practical guidance for primary clinic managers and inform policy on accreditation support mechanisms for newly established facilities.

Abstract

Competition between hospitals is currently increasing as the public's demand for fast, comfortable, and quality health services grows. In this situation, hospitals need to have a clear competitive strategy to be able to maintain patient trust and preferences. Patient loyalty is not only influenced by the results of treatment, but also by the overall service experience, such as the attitude of health workers, the availability of facilities, the timeliness of services, and the ease of the administrative process. The higher the patient loyalty, the higher the hospital's competitiveness, because patient loyalty creates a sustained competitive advantage through repeat visits, competency resilience, and positive recommendations. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of cost leadership, differentiation, and focus strategies at  RSU Mahkota Bidadari in order to increase patient loyalty. The research method used was descriptive with a qualitative approach, involving 4 resource persons from various hospital divisions such as the president director, service manager, doctor on duty and patients. RSU Mahkota Bidadari's competitiveness strategy in increasing patient loyalty is achieved through the integrated implementation of cost leadership, differentiation, and focus strategies by emphasizing standard-based service efficiency, humanistic and professional medical services, and consistency of service quality, thereby building patient trust, satisfaction, and loyalty in a sustainable manner. This research makes a theoretical contribution by expanding the understanding of the application of hospital competitiveness strategies in increasing patient loyalty, while integrating the concept of strategic management with health services.

Abstract

The health industry has the third highest voluntary turnover rate in the world; thus, the degree of participation in the health industry is still relatively low. Low employee engagement continues to make employee engagement an intriguing issue of study, notably in Indonesia. According to a survey, 76% of employees are not engaged in their work. This study aims to investigate the effect of polychronicity on employee engagement with the conditional process of job satisfaction as a mediating variable and compensation as a moderating variable. Testing the model using the PROCESS statistical tool version 3.5, the sample was determined based on the Slovin formula so that 212 individuals participated in the study. According to the findings, compensation is effective in moderating the effect of polychronicity on job satisfaction, compensation is effective in moderating the effect of polychronicity on employee engagement, and compensation is effective in moderating the effect of job satisfaction on employee engagement. Each interaction is in a high category. The study implicates the result of the analysis of the conditional process model on the effect of polychronicity, job satisfaction, and compensation on employee engagement in the health industry.
