Abstract

Adanya keterbatasan keterampilan dan juga kurangnya informasi terkait aplikasi yang dapat digunakan dalam pengembangan bahan ajar, ditambah dengan keterbatasan waktu serta begitu banyaknya tugas guru di sekolah. Pelatihan dan pendampingan menjadi salah satu cara yang dibutuhkan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) menggunakan live worksheets. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun dan membahas pengembangan LKPD berbasis live worksheet. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Menyuke yang dihadiri oleh 22 guru sekolah menengah yang ada di Kecamatan Menyuke, Kabupaten Landak. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode Service Learning (SL) yang melibatkan empat proses, yaitu Focus Group Discussion, pelatihan, workshop, dan pembimbingan atau pendampingan. Pengukuran peningkatan kompetensi dan pengetahuan dilakukan sebanyak dua kali, yaitu di awal untuk mengetahui kompetensi dan pengetahuan awal peserta serta dilakukan di akhir untuk mengetahui respons guru menggunakan angket evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun modul ajar berbasis live worksheet yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan pengukuran awal dan akhir sebanyak 50%. Seluruh peserta (100%) mengalami peningkatan skor pengukuran dan memiliki masing-masing minimal satu LKPD yang telah siap diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berhasil dalam meningkatkan kompetensi dan pengetahuan guru dalam merancang LKPD berbasis live worksheet.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a pocket book on conventional biotechnology sub-material developed from the isolation, characterization, and phylogenetic relationships of lactic acid bacteria in mandai. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This study utilizes three stages of the ADDIE model: Analysis, Design, and Development. During the analysis stage, needs were identified through interviews with biology teachers in grade X at SMA Negeri 1 Sampit, which revealed the absence of learning media based on local potential. The design stage produced a pocket book design based on the learning outcomes of the Merdeka Curriculum, incorporating conventional biotechnology content, research results on the isolation and characterization of bacteria, and the phylogenetic relationships of lactic acid bacteria. The development stage produced a 9 x 12 cm pocket book consisting of 34 pages, which was then validated by five validators. The validation results showed an average Content Validity Ratio (CVR) of 0.99, which is considered valid. Thus, the pocket book is deemed suitable for use as a learning medium for the sub-subject of Conventional Biotechnology based on local potential at the high school level. Abstract

E-flipbook media is one of the audio-visual media presented in HTML format. It can be presented by using the online application service, Heyzine. The e-flipbook presents the results of the antibacterial test of thorny bajakah stem extract (Caesalpinia sumatrana Roxb.) against Salmonella typhi and its related to the kingdom monera sub-material in the tenth grade senior high school. The research was conducted as descriptive quantitative with the presentation of data from the analysis of media feasibility. The data of media feasibility was collected in the form of a validation sheet conducted by 5 validators using a Likert scale with 5 aspects of validation, namely format, content, language, practicality, and effectiveness of the media. The feasibility test results show an average Aiken’s V value of 0.88 valid category with an ICC value of 0.863 very good category. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that e-flipbook is suitable for use as a learning media in schools.

Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran dibutuhkan alat bantu yang memudahkan guru menyampaikan materi, baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas. Media pembelajaran menjadi salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penyampaian materi kepada siswa. Media booklet merupakan buku kecil yang memuat foto/gambar disertai penyajian materi pembelajaran yang lebih singkat dan padat guna mempermudah penyampaian materi di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media booklet peranan bakteri yang memuat submateri kingdom monera dan hasil penelitian uji antibakteri ekstrak batang bajakah kuning (Arcangelisia flava Merr.) terhadap Salmonella typhi menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif. Tahapan penelitian terdiri dari tahapan persiapan, tahapan pelaksanaan, dan tahapan akhir. Tahapan persiapan meliputi analisis Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP), pembuatan flowchart, pembuatan storyboard booklet, penentuan bentuk booklet, penyusunan isi booklet, percetakan, penyusunan instrumen, dan validasi instrumen. Tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi pengembangan dan penilaian kelayakan media. Tahapan akhir meliputi analisis data hasil validasi booklet oleh 5 validator yang terdiri dari 2 Dosen Pendidikan Biologi dan 3 Guru Biologi Kelas X menggunakan metode analisis Aiken’s dan analisis Interclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC). Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai Aiken’s V sebesar 0,93 dinyatakan valid dan hasil analisis ICC sebesar 0,704 kategori baik. Maka dari itu, media bookletperanan bakteri submateri kingdom moneravalid sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

Protista are one of the the subject is quite broad and there are many Latin terms and objects, most of whichare micro organisms or living things that cannot be found and observed directly in everyday life, studentsare not enough to only have the ability to memorize but also need a complete understanding of the materialsuch as can classify and classify protista through morphological observations. So that students need a mediathat is interesting to them and easy to understand. The purpose of this research to see the effectiveness ofusing scrapbook media on student learning outcomes in class X protista material at SMA Negeri 6Pontianak. The form of the research is Quasi Experimental Design with the research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this research is class X MIA 2 (control class) and X MIA3 (experimental class). Intact Group sampling technique. The instrument used is a multiple choice test with20 questions. The average score of the experimental class students' learning outcomes was 15.40 while thecontrol class's average score was 14.39. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney U test, Z count . isobtained < Z table with a value of -2.74 < -1.96 so that it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha isaccepted, where there are differences in the learning outcomes of students who are taught using scrapbookmedia and students who are taught using image media. Based on the results of the Effect Size learning usingscrapbook media, it got a value of 0.73 with the medium category meaning that the effectiveness of learningusing scrapbook media on protista material was classified as moderate in improving the learning outcomesof class X students of SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak by 26.73%.

Abstract

Comics are one instance of visual media that can be used as learning media. Comics engage students to be more interested, motivated, and entertained so that they can help teachers deliver learning materials. The comics developed in this study contain material about the biodiversity that exists in West Kalimantan, especially endemic flora and fauna, considering that West Kalimantan has various potential for diversity. This study aims to determine the feasibility of comics based on the local potential of West Kalimantan on biodiversity material as a learning medium for class X MAN 2 Pontianak and to determine student responses to the developed learning media. The form of this research is descriptive with a survey research method. The sample in this study was class X MIA 4 MAN 2 Pontianak which was selected through a purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were comic media validation sheets and student response questionnaires. Based on the results of the validation data analysis, the calculation of the CVR and CVI values against the 11 assessment indicators, it was found that the comic media developed was categorized as valid with the CVR and CVI values by 1. The results of student responses to the developed comic media, for 3 aspects including cognitive, affective, and conative is 76.18% with a high category. Cognitive responses of 77.6%, affective responses of 78.3%, and conative responses of 72.66% with a high category, respectively. Therefore, comic media based on local potential of flora and fauna endemic to West Kalimantan is feasible to be used as a learning medium in class X in MAN 2 Pontianak, and student responses to the developed media are categorized as strong responses.

Abstract

Fungi are one of the abundant biodiversity both in Indonesia and in the world, so there are still many species of fungi that have not been successfully identified or known for their benefits. The purpose of this study was to determine the species of macroscopic fungi that can be collected in oil palm plantations in Pantok, West Kalimantan. This study used a qualitative approach, mushroom sampling using the plot method with roaming techniques, all species of macroscopic fungi found in oil palm plantations were recorded morphological characteristics and position of discovery in the observation sheet, then measured environmental factors, and the mushrooms obtained were preserved. Sample identification was carried out by matching morphologies including cup type and edges, cup color, stalk color and surface, stalk mounting type on the cup, and substrate.  Using a mushroom identification book that refers to McKnight & McKnight (1987), Roberts & Shelley (2013), Moor and O'Sullivan (2014), and Laessoe (2013). The field data analysis used is descriptive analysis by describing the species of macroscopic fungi found in oil palm plantations. As for the data validity checking technique on the identification results using the website https://www.indexfungorum.org/ to see the validity of the scientific name of each fungus found. In this study there were 17 species of macroscopic fungi found, these fungi belonged to 1 phylum, namely the Basidiomycota phylum and consisted of 11 families, namely the Polyporaceae, Boletaceae, Entolomataceae, Ganodermataceae, Marasmiaceae, Omphalotaceae, Psathyrellaceae, Schizophyllaceae, Tricholomataceae, and Pluteaceae families. The environmental factors of this study were less favorable for fungal growth. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the diversity of fungi in oil palm plantations in Pantok, West Kalimantan is quite varied, this is influenced by environmental factors in the plantation.

Abstract

Kaliau Village has potential that can be further explored, both socially and culturally. One of the local wisdom owned by the Dayak Salako Tribal Community in Kaliau Village is the utilization of plants as the resources of traditional medicines. This research aims to gain information about the local wisdom of the Dayak Salako Tribal Community in Kaliau Village, Sambas Regency in using medicinal plants. This research was conducted in Kaliau Village, Sajingan Besar District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan Province. We used all of tthe Dayak tribal community in Kaliau Village as population. The sample of informants was taken using the snowball sampling method. The qualitative method is used in this research by collecting the data, interviews, observation, and documentation of potential medicinal plants in Kaliau Village. Dayak Salako Tribal Community in Kaliau Village has utilized fifteen species of single plants and two concoctions as alternative medicines to treat certain diseases. Several plants can only utilize the leaves part, bark, pulp of fruit, and roots. However, several plants can also utilize all of the parts. Processing plants for traditional medicines is drinking, eating, or applying them to body parts.

Abstract

Electronic magazine learning media is arranged systematically to support learning activities in the Kingdom Monera Sub-material. This research aims to analyze the feasibility of electronic magazine media enriched with the antibacterial test result of bajakah merah stem extract (Spatholobus ferrugineus (Zoll. & Moritzi) Benth.) on the growth of Salmonella typhi. This research uses a quantitative method through several stages, namely creating electronic magazine media, instrument validation, media validation, and data analysis. Instrument validation was carried out by 2 validators using the Guttman scale. Media validation was carried out by 5 validators using a Likert scale with 4 rating scales. Media validation assessment consists of 4 aspects, namely aspects of format, content, language, and media use. The validation result of electronic magazine media were analyzes using the Aiken’s V formula to calculate the validity coefficient and the reliability was tested using the ICC formula. The results obtained show that electronic magazine media obtained an average value of 0.91, but there were still 4 statement items that did not reach the minimum Aiken’s V standard with value of less than 0.87. The result of the reliability test using ICC obtained a value 0f 0.784 in the good category. Electronic magazine media needs to be repaired before being used in learning. Abstrak. Media pembelajaran majalah elektronik disusun secara sistematis untuk mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran pada Sub materi Kingdom Monera. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan media majalah elektronik yang diperkaya dengan hasil uji antibakteri ekstrak batang bajakah merah (Spatholobus ferrugineus (Zoll. & Moritzi) Benth.) terhadap pertumbuhan Salmonella typhi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu pembuatan media majalah elektronik, validasi instrumen, validasi media, dan analisis data. Validasi instrumen dilakukan oleh 2 orang validator menggunakan skala Guttman. Validasi media dilakukan oleh 5 orang validator menggunakan skala Likert dengan 4 skala penilaian. Penilaian validasi media terdiri dari 4 aspek yaitu aspek format, isi, bahasa, dan penggunaan media. Hasil validasi media majalah elektronik dianalisis menggunakan formula Aiken's V untuk menghitung koefisien validitasnya dan diuji reliabilitasnya menggunakan rumus ICC. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan media majalah elektronik memperoleh nilai rata-rata 0,91 namun masih terdapat 4 butir pernyataan yang tidak mencapai standar minimum Aiken’s V dengan nilai kurang dari 0,87. Hasil uji reliabilitas menggunakan ICC memperoleh nilai 0,784 dengan kategori baik. Media majalah elektronik perlu diperbaiki sebelum digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbasis Prezi pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dan lingkungannya di SMP Negeri 16 Pontianak. Penelitian  ini  merupakan  penelitian  pengembangan  (Research  and  Development). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 21 Mei sampai 7 November 2022. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang memiliki tiga tahapan yaitu Analisis (analysis), Perancangan (design), dan Pengembangan (development). Instrumen dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan lembar validasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis metode skala dengan modifikasi skala Likert yang dilanjutkan dengan analisis Aiken V. Dari hasil penilaian terhadap multimedia interaktif berbasis Prezi pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dan lingkungannya yang telah dikembangkan dinilai sangat valid dengan skor keseluruhan aspek rata-rata sebesar 0,97 dengan kategori sangat layak, penilaian tiap-tiap aspek yaitu aspek pembelajaran sebesar 0,96 dengan kategori sangat layak, penilaian pada aspek tampilan sebesar 0,98 degan kategori sangat layak, dan penilaian pada aspek isi sebesar 0,96 dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan  skor  yang  diperoleh,  dapat  disimpulkan  bahwa produk multimedia interaktif berbasis Prezi pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dan lingkungan dikategorikan sangat valid sehingga layak untuk digunakan sebagai desain media pembelajaran dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pendidikan biologi.
