Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation, workload on turnover intention through job satisfaction at PT Gandaerah Hendana. The sample in the study was carried out by means of a census, namely making the entire population a sample of 60 employees. Primary data was collected using a questionnaire as an instrument to prove research results, to test hypotheses. In this study using the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of the study show that: 1) The compensation variable has a direct, positive/unidirectional and significant effect on turnover intention, 2) The compensation has a direct, positive/unidirectional and significant effect on job satisfaction, 3) The job satisfaction has a direct, negative and significant effect on turnover intention, 4) Workload has direct effect on turnover intention positively/unidirectionally and significantly 5) Workload has direct effect on job satisfaction positively/unidirectionally and significantly 6) The role of job satisfaction as a mediating of compensation on turnover intention is partial (partial mediation), 7) The role of job satisfaction as a mediating of workload on turnover intention is perfect (complete mediation). Keywords: Compensation, Workload, Turnover Intention, Job Satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to test the relationship between nurse performance and inpatient satisfaction at Madani Regional Hospital in Pekanbaru City. The population of this study was inpatients at the Madani Regional Hospital of Pekanbaru City. This study consisted of two variables, including Nurse Performance (X), and Patient Satisfaction (Y).  The samples in this study amounted to 120 samples using the Purposive Sampling method. The analysis method in this study uses Kendall's test or data processing using SPSS (Statistical Package of Social Science) version 25.0. Based on the results of the analysis shows that the Nurse's Performance in the range is quite good and Patient Satisfaction is in the range is quite good in general. The results of the hypothesis test stated that Nurse Performance has a strong relationship with Inpatient Satisfaction at Madani Regional Hospital in Pekanbaru City. This means that the higher the Nurse's Performance, the more Inpatient Satisfaction at the Madani Regional Hospital in Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of training and commitment on the performance of BUMDes management in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The samples of this study were 30 BUMDes from 5 Districts in Kampar Regency. Questionnaires were distributed to 30 respondents, and successfully collected with complete answers from 30 respondents. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire as the instrument to prove the results of the study. Multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program were used to test the hypothesis of the study. Data collected from 30 respondents then were analyzed with the assistance of SPSS software version 23.0 using descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis to generate a classical assumption test, data analysis model, coefficient of determination and proving the hypothesis. The results of the study show that: 1) there is positive and partially significant effect of training on the performance of BUMDes management in Kampar District, 2) there is positive and significant effect of partial commitment on the performance of BUMDes management in Kampar Regency, 3) there is a simultaneous positive and significant influence of training and commitment on the performance of the managers of BUMDes management in Kampar Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of recruitment and selection on the competence and perfomance of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) manager in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. In this study, there are four variables, namely Recruitment (X1), Selection (X2), Competence (Y1) and Performance (Y2). The population in this study is the BUMDes manager in Kampar Regency. The method of determining the number of samples was obtained through purposive sampling technique (30 BUMDes Managers from 229 BUMDes in Kampar Regency based on criteria). The data collection was gained through interviewing, observing and distributing questionnaires to respondents. While, in terms of data analysis this study used was two-stage regression analysis namely simple and multiple regression, the quality test of research instruments , test classic assumptions and hypotheses that were processed using the SPSS program (Statistical Program Society Science) version 21. The result shows that: 1) recruitment has a positive and significant effect on the competencies of BUMDes manager, 2) selection has a positive and significant effect on the competencies of BUMDes manager, 3) recruitment and selection has a positive and simultant effect the competence of BUMDes manager, 4) competence has a positive and significant effect on the performance of BUMDes manager. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education, locus of control, and need for achievement on the entrepreneurial intentions of undergraduate students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Riau University. The population in this study is the active undergraduate student class of 2017. The sampling technique was the purposive sampling method (85 students from 562 students based on criteria). To prove the study's findings, primary data were collected in this study using a questionnaire as a research instrument. Multiple regression analysis by the SPSS program was used to test the hypothesis in this study. The results show that: 1) there is an effect of entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial intentions of undergraduate students; 2) there is an effect of locus of control on the entrepreneurial intentions of undergraduate students; 3) there is an effect of the need for achievement on the entrepreneurial intentions of undergraduate students; and 4) there is an effect simultaneously of entrepreneurship education, locus of control, and the need for achievement on the entrepreneurial intentions of undergraduate students.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial intention means someone with the intention of starting a business will have better readiness and progress in the business being run than someone without the intention of starting a business. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of social support, academic support, and creativity on the entrepreneurial intentions of students in the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Riau University. This type of research is called descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study amounted to 80 people. Data collection techniques with questionnaires The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of SPSS software version 20. The results of the tests that have been carried out show that simultaneously show that social support, academic support, and creativity have an influence on the entrepreneurial intentions of students in the Management Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, Riau University. The managerial implication in this study is that parents and friends can provide social support to students. FEB UNRI can provide academic support in the form of holding entrepreneurial events such as seminars and bazaars. Students further increase creativity in entrepreneurship by finding new ideas that are suitable for business in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional (X1) dan efikasi diri (X2) terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior (Y) melalui motivasi kerja (Z) pada perawat RSUD Indrasari Rengat.  Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat RSUD Indrasari Rengat yang berjumlah 153 orang. Pada penelitian ini jumlah sampel juga termasuk ke dalam total sampel karena penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling atau teknik sampel jenuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner yang disebar kepada seluruh perawat RSUD Indrasari Rengat sebagai alat instrument untuk membuktikan hasil penelitian dan menguji hipotesis dengan menggunakan analisis jalur. Metode analisis data menggunakan perkalian acak (bootstrapping) dengan bantuan software Smart Partial Square (SmartPLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap OCB, 2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan efikasi diri terhadap OCB, 3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap motivasi kerja, 4) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan efikasi diri terhadap motivasi kerja, 5) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap OCB, 6) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap OCB melalui motivasi kerja, 7) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan efikasi diri terhadap OCB melalui motivasi kerja.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh secara langsung maupun tidak langsung efikasi diri dan pengalaman magang terhadap kesiapan kerja menggunakan minat kerja sebagai variabel intervening. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 104 mahasiswa Universitas Riau yang pernah mengikuti program MSIB batch 3-4 dan sampel yang digunakan adalah 83 orang mahasiswa yang menjadi responden penelitian dengan menggunakan metode proportional stratified random sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial yang terdiri dari uji kualitas data, uji asumsi  klasik dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil olah data yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri dan pengalaman magang (p 0,05) terhadap kesiapan kerja, dan terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri dan pengalaman magang (p 0,05) terhadap kesiapan kerja melalui minat kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada mahasiswa Universitas Riau peserta program MSIB.

Abstract

Desa Muaro Tombang merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Dengan luas wilayah 140 ha, Desa Muaro Tombang mempunyai potensi di bidang pertanian dan perkebunan. Dimana luas lahan pertanian dan perkebunan adalah 50 ha. Dengan letak yang strategis seperti ini, membuat masyarakat desa Muaro Tombang mencari sumber penghidupan dengan memanfaatkan potensi desa yang ada. Dengan demikian, masyarakat Desa banyak memanfaatkan lahan pertanian dan perkebunan untuk memenuhi kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu tanaman yang bisa dimanfaatkan adalah pepaya muda. Pepaya ini tidak hanya sekedar untuk mengolah potensi desa saja, namun dengan memanfaatkan pepaya muda dapat menumbuhkan kreatifitas masyarakat dalam mengembangkan perekonomian dalam keluarga. Yakni memperbanyak dan membangun UMKM. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode PAR (Participatory Action Research).

Abstract

This community service initiative focuses on improving student engagement and learning outcomes in science education at SMPN 5 Ukui through the application of game-based learning models. Conducted over two sessions in July 2024, the program employed the Number head together and Team Games Tournament methods to foster active participation and enhance students' understanding of the material. Despite challenges such as limited facilities, the initiative successfully increased student interest and involvement in learning science. The program demonstrated that game-based learning can be an effective tool for transforming traditional teaching methods, particularly in rural schools with limited resources. The results indicate a positive impact on student motivation and academic performance, suggesting the potential for broader implementation in similar educational settings. The initiative underscores the importance of innovative teaching approaches in achieving educational goals and highlights the need for continued support and resources to ensure the sustainability and scalability of such programs in the future.
