Abstract

The research is motivated by the use of two languages in communicating both oral and written so that the disturbance of  Sundanese language into Indonesian and Indonesian into the Sundanese language. The purpose of this research is to know as well as to record the forms of interference Sundanese language into Indonesian and Indonesian into the language of Sundanese in grade 4-6 student Ciptamarga 2 and grade 4-6 student Ciptamarga 3. This research uses descritive, from the results of research that has been done, researchers found leksikal interference in the language there are 75, while leksikal interference Sundanese the are 67. Of all the utterances delivered by the sample, the word is often used by students who use Indonesian language that is (bapa, sapedah, karangjang). The word that is often used by student who use Sundanese is (paman, laki-laki), so that happened very clear interference happened to the student.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine learning to write persuasion texts which generally still raises various problems, namely the difficulty of students in starting to write, difficulties in expressing ideas, and difficulty of students in finding writing ideas that are invitations and persuasions to be put into writing. This research was conducted on students of class VIII MTS Darul Ma'arif with research subjects totaling 20 students. The formulation of the problems faced in this study is how difficult are students in learning to write persuasion texts? This study aims to answer the problem formulation regarding students' difficulties in writing persuasion texts and to find out an increase in the results of the initial and final test scores in learning persuasion writing. This research method uses descriptive qualitative which aims to describe the learning outcomes of writing persuasion texts using the contexrual teaching and learning method. The data collection technique in this study was a writing skill test. Based on the results of writing tests carried out in learning activities, the students' initial test got an average score of 50, and the final test got an average score of 78. These results prove that there is a difference between the mean score of the initial test and the final test, which is a difference of 28. With Thus, learning to write persuasion texts using the contextual teaching and learning method can be declared effective and able to become a new innovation in learning activities to write persuasion texts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the characters and settings in Nyoman Tusthi Eddy's short story "Janji Sang Penari" and to analyze the characters in the short story and to find the name of the setting for the time, place, and atmosphere of the short story. The research method used by the author in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted by first reading a short story entitled "Janji Sang Penari" by Nyoman Tusthi Eddy, then analyzing the characters and settings contained in the short story text. From the analysis of the short stories, the writer found various characters and backgrounds contained in the short story "Janji Sang Penari" by Nyoman Tusthi Eddy. There are 5 characters in the short story, namely Wilastri, Wilastri's father, dance teacher, Wilastri's girlfriend, and Wilastri's mother. The characters in the short story are a beautiful woman, a dancer, obedient to behavior, a wise man, a man who is innocent, doesn't talk much, and a mother who always gives advice. While the background of the short story is the Balinese socio-cultural background which is still thick and strong. The time setting for the short story is during the ceremony. The setting for the short story is Pura Desa in Bali, the arena, the sea, and Wilastri's house. While the background of the atmosphere in the short story is cool, peaceful, calm, grief, blue touched.

Abstract

This research was conducted because it was found in the short story "Love In Apple" by Nurillaiyah which has many figures of speech in each written story line. The researcher limits the analysis of this short story to the figure of speech contained in the short story. Through this research, the author has a research objective, namely to examine what figures are contained in the short story text "Love In Apple" by Nurillaiyah so that readers are able to gain knowledge about the elements of figure of speech that can be used as lessons and experiences in life to be used as examples in everyday life. For this study the authors used a research method with statistical studies to analyze the figure of speech contained in the short story, this research was conducted by reading the short story first, then analyzing and marking the text included in figure of speech, then from the data that was analyzed the researcher found There are various types of figure of speech contained in Nurillaiyah's short story “Love In Apple”, namely the comparative figure of speech, including association, hyperbole, simile and metaphor, then the affirmation figure, namely pleonasm. The conclusion is that the short story "Love In Apple" by Nurillaiyah is suitable for reading even by adolescents, adults and the general public.

Abstract

Researchers found problems in learning exposition text students still have difficulty in expressing ideas in the implementation of exposition text writing learning. Researchers use the mind mapping method as a way to provide stimulation to students in developing ideas or developing. The purpose of this research study is to study the differences and implementation of learning in students by using conventional methods and mind mapping methods in learning to write exposition text. The method used in this research is experimental type with the design used by One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. With the object of class X-MIA students who can be competed as many as 30 people. After spending is carried out using conventional methods and mind mapping methods in students in learning to write exposition text, then an assessment of the results obtained by the average score obtained. It can be seen from the results of the acquisition of pretest scores using the conventional method of 61.20 and an increase in the acquisition of posttest scores using the mind mapping method of 75.60 and an increase in the passing grade of students who exceeded the KKM which was originally only 7 people after being given treatment to 21 people.

Abstract

Writing skills are generally regarded as difficult by students. In writing learning, many students have difficulty in pouring ideas into written language and not much vocabulary is mastered. This is based on the value of previous explanatory text writing skills getting an average value of 64.04 which certainly states that the students' ability in writing explanatory texts is still low. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the difficulties faced by students in writing explanatory texts learned in class XI. The purpose of this study is to improve students' ability to write explanatory texts using cooperative models of picture and picture types in the learning process. The method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative aims to describe what is learning to write explanatory texts by using a cooperative model of the type of picture and picture in class XI SMK students. This final result gets an average value of 80.13 which is the effectiveness of the application of the cooperative model of the picture and picture type in learning to write explanatory texts.

Abstract

This research was conducted to study the learning of explanatory text writing that raises various problems including, students difficulties in expressing ideas through written language, students' difficulties in starting the writing process and students difficulties in developing the right words. This research was conducted on eighth grade students of Darul Hikmah Parongpong Middle School. This study aims to describe the learning of writing explanatory texts using mind mapping methods, fostering students curiosity in writing especially in writing explanatory texts, and to overcome students difficulties in pouring ideas into thinking in writing explanatory texts. This research method uses descriptive qualitative which aims to describe naturally and systematically from the results of writing explanatory texts, as well as using data collection techniques with writing skills tests. The results of the study during the learning activities carried out on the explanatory text writing test using the mind mapping method obtained results with an average value of 19.40, with a percentage of 84.43% with good criteria. Thus learning to write explanatory texts using the mind mapping method can be said to be successful by obtaining a percentage above average.

Abstract

This research is based on learning to write which is difficult for some students when writing explanatory text. The use of innovative learning models can certainly increase students' creativity and critical thinking skills independently with one of these learning models, namely the inquiry model. The purpose of this study was to find out how the students' abilities in learning to write explanatory text using the inquiry model. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a research sample of 24 students of class XI MIPA. The results of research on learning to write explanatory text on the (pretest) initial action obtained an average of 53, and after being given action (posttest) using the inquiry learning model obtained an average of 76.16. Through the application of this inquiry model, it is proven to be effective in learning to write explanatory texts.

Abstract

A song that has lyrics with a deep meaning or meaning is always popular even though it has been lyrical for a long time, in the creation of song lyrics, there are language games such as games in language style and word meanings. Dhani's songs with Dewa 19 are often judged to have controversial lyrics in the lyrics, the word "I" and the "You" do not always describe someone who is expressing feelings with their soulmate. The owner of this song also often describes the relationship between man and the creator. The song 'Satu' is an example. This research is to analyze a meaning in the one song lyrics. The method used is descriptive qualitative method by dividing the lyrics into several verses, with a semiotic approach the song lyrics are divided into markers and signs and then analyzed to determine their meaning. The research was carried out in several steps, (1) determining the song, (2) dividing it into several verses, (3) determining the markers and signs, (4) analyzing the meaning, (5) describing the results. The results of the author’s analysis on the lyrics of the song Satu Dewa 19 by Ahmad Dhani concluded that the lyrics contain meaning that implies one’s obedience to God.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the researcher's curiosity about the acquisition of noun words in children aged 3-5 years. Aims to know the classification of the basic noun words, derived nouns, and reduplications. This research started with observation activity to Respondent 1 3 year old, Respondent 2 4 years old, and Respondent 3 aged 5 years. After observing the 3 respondents, the researcher collects the data and processes the data using qualitative descriptive method, that is the method that describes the fact or fact according to the data obtained. This research is descriptive, meaning that the vocabulary that shows noun will become the main data of research. The results of the study show the class classification of basic Nomina, derived Nomina and Reduplication. Respondents 1 who were 3 years old received 50 words of base noun, 8 said nouns, 3 words reduplication. Respondents 2 4 years old received 43 words of base noun, nine derived nouns, 7 words reduplication, and Responde 3 aged 5 years obtained 73 words nouns, 7 words nouns derived, 6 word reduplication.
