Abstract

Berdasarkan data Kementrian pendidikan dan kebudayaan, sebanyak 34.19 persen sekolah di Indonesia dari 34 provinsi, belum memiliki perpustakaan. Padahal sesuai amanat UU No 43 Tahun 2007 hendaknya lembaga pendidikan termasuk sekolah ditunjang dengan perpustakaan. Perpustakaan tentu harus mengiringi perkembangan jaman dan mampu untuk memberikan layanan berbasis teknologi. Berdasar hal tersebut dan fakta bahwa tidak semua perpustakaan sekolah berjalan sesuai standar perpustakaan apalagi memanfaatkan otomasi perpustakaan. Maka pengabdian dalam bentuk pelatihan ini menjadi solusi dari gambaran permasalahan diatas. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini ialah ceramah, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Diikuti oleh 34 peserta dari pengelola perpustakaan Se Malang Raya yang terdiri dari Sekolah Swasta, Sekolah Negeri, Pondok Pesantren. Saat pelatihan aplikasi otomasi perpustakaan 100% terinstall pada laptop peserta dan dapat digunakan. Sehingga pengelolaan perpustakaan yang manual sudah terbantukan dengan otomasi perpustakaan dan meninggalkan proses manual/paperbased service ke arah perpustakaan digital. Kendala yang dihadapi peserta ketika monitoring dan evaluasi ialah dukungan teknis penyediaan hardware yang belum dipenuhi oleh pihak sekolah. Saran dan tindak lanjut dari kegiatan ini ialah ditingkatkannya pada tahap lebih lanjut yaitu inovasi layanan dan akreditasi perpustakaan.Kata kunci: otomasi perpustakaan; perpustakaan digital; perpustakaan sekolahImplementation of School Library Automation in Malang RayaABSTRACT  Based on data from the Ministry of education and culture, as many as 34.19 percents of schools in Indonesia from 34 provinces, do not yet have a library. Yet according to the mandate of Law No. 43 of 2007 educational institutions including schools should be supported by libraries. Libraries certainly have to accompany the development of the era and be able to provide technology-based services. Based on this and the fact that not all school libraries run according to library standards let alone utilize library automation. Then this service in the form of training is the solution to the picture above problems. The methods used in this service are lectures, training and mentoring. Participated in 34 participants from the library manager of Se Malang Raya consisting of Private Schools, Public Schools, Islamic Boarding Schools. During training, the library automation application is 100% installed on the participant's laptop and can be used. So that manual library management is helped by library automation and leaves the manual / paper-based service process in the direction of digital libraries. The obstacle faced by participants when monitoring and evaluation is technical support for providing the hardware that has not been met by the school. Suggestions and follow-up from this activity are to be improved at a further stage, namely service innovation and library accreditation.Keywords: library automation; digital library; school library

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah sangat penting bagi guru. Melalui karya ilmiah, guru dapat berbagi pengalaman dan juga menapaki jenjang karir yang ada. Hambatan utama para guru dalam menulis karya ilmiah adalah lemahnya kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah, terutama dalam pengembangan ide dan tidak adanya forum intensif yang diorientasikan untuk latihan menulis karya ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, program pengembangan keprofesionalan dan karir guru yang penting dilaksanakan adalah meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah. Kegiatan penguatan penulisan karya ilmiah ini dilaksanakan pada 30 guru yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Bahasa Indonesia Kabupaten Kediri Jawa Timur. Penguatan dilakukan dengan penggalian pengalaman terbaik guru dalam mengajar (best practice), pendampingan pengembangan best practice sebagai karya ilmiah, pendampingan reviu mandiri, pendampingan peer review dan peer editing oleh sejawat, dan penyelenggaraan forum seminar untuk mendesiminasikan best practice dan mendapatkan masukan sebagai bahan perbaikan (revisi). Hasil akhir kegiatan ini adalah kumpulan artikel para guru yang siap disajikan dalam forum ilmiah maupun diterbitkan dalam jurnal ilmiah nasional.  Implikasi pelatihan ini dapat memberi penguatan konsep penulisan karya ilmiah dan bagaimana langkah untuk mengumpulkan bahan penulisan karya ilmiah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of social media as a strategic force in the campaign of legislative candidates from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI Perjuangan) in the 2024 General Election. Amidst increasing internet penetration and social media usage in Indonesia, especially among the younger generation, social media has become a primary means of political communication. In this context, social media functions not only as a tool for disseminating information, but also as an interactive medium capable of shaping public perception, building political image, and significantly expanding campaign reach. This study uses a qualitative approach through literature review and content analysis of the social media accounts of several PDI Perjuangan legislative candidates, such as Ir. Bambang Wuryanto, Bagus Suryokusumo, and Muhammad Iqbal Adila. The results of the study indicate that strategic use of social media can increase political exposure and emotional closeness with constituents. Authentic, consistent content that emphasizes relevant political values has proven effective in attracting voter attention and building community engagement. Social media also allows legislative candidates to respond to current issues quickly and personally, and mobilize support more efficiently than conventional campaign methods. Thus, the findings of this study confirm that social media plays a very important role in modern political campaign strategies, and is one of the determining factors for success in legislative contests in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Capital Structure (DER) and Profitability (ROA) on Company Value (PBV) at PT Kalbe Farma Tbk for the 2015-2024 Period. The data used is secondary data in the form of financial statements of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk obtained from the official website of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In this study, the researcher used a quantitative method by testing hypotheses with statistical methods using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) application program version 25. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, hypothesis tests, correlation coefficients and determination coefficients. The results of the study show that partially, the Capital Structure (DER) does not have a significant negative influence on the Company Value (PBV) with a calculation of │-458 │< table of 2.365 and a significance value of 0.661 > 0.05. Profitability (ROA) had a significant positive effect on the Company Value (PBV) with a calculation of 6.026 > table 2.365 with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. The results of the simultaneous test showed that Capital Structure (DER) and Profitability (ROA) had a significant positive effect on the Company Value (PBV) with a value of Fcal 22.019 > Ftable of 4.74 and a significance value of 0.001< 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.824 indicates that Debt to Equity Ratio and Return on Assets contribute 82.4% to the Price to Book Value, while the remaining 17.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study is a systematic literature review aimed at exploring the role of technology in protecting vital records. Vital records are documents whose existence is a fundamental prerequisite for the continuity of the records creator’s operations. They are irreplaceable and cannot be restored once damaged. Using a systematic literature review method, the researcher examined various articles relevant to the research topic. The findings show that digitization, as a form of technological application, can enhance accessibility, protect records from loss and damage, and serve as a means of disaster mitigation. Unfortunately, several challenges remain, including the lack of skilled human resources, inadequate equipment, and low public awareness regarding the importance of preserving vital records.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (Alfamart) during the period 2014–2023 using indicators such as Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Current Ratio (CR), and Quick Ratio (QR). The analysis is conducted to assess the company’s profitability and liquidity levels by comparing financial statements from previous years with industry standards. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, utilizing secondary data in the form of the company’s annual financial statements. The population in this study consists of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk’s financial reports from 2014 to 2023, while the sample includes the balance sheets and income statements for the years 2014 through 2023. The results of this study indicate that the financial performance of PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk during the period 2014–2023, measured through several financial ratios, is categorized as Less Healthy. The Return on Assets (ROA) shows an average value of 5.13%, which is below the Industry Standard of 30%. The Return on Equity (ROE) records an average of 15.96%, also below the Industry Standard of 40%. The Current Ratio (CR) averages 97.26%, far below the Industry Standard of 200%, while the Quick Ratio (QR) averages 40.85%, which is also below the Industry Standard of 150%. These findings indicate that the company’s financial performance in terms of profitability and liquidity is considered Less Healthy, according to the Industry Standards proposed by Kasmir as referenced in academic journals.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of Capital Structure and Financial Performance on Firm Value at PT Mustika Ratu Tbk during the period from 2014 to 2023. The type of research used is quantitative with a descriptive appROAch. Data collection was conducted through documentation studies based on the company’s financial reports. The population in this study consists of all financial reports of PT Mustika Ratu Tbk, while the sample comprises the annual financial statements of PT Mustika Ratu Tbk over the ten-year period. The Capital Structure variable is measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Financial Performance is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), and Firm Value is measured using the Price to Book Value (PBV). The analysis results show that, partially, Capital Structure does not have a significant effect on Firm Value, with a t-statistic of 1.290511 < t-table value of 2.30600 and a significance level of 0.2379 > 0.05. However, Financial Performance has a significant effect on Firm Value, with a t-statistic of 4.597290 > t-table value of 2.30600 and a significance level of 0.0025 < 0.05. Simultaneously, Capital Structure and Financial Performance have a significant effect on Firm Value, as indicated by an F-statistic of 15.47391 > F-table value of 4.74 and a significance level of 0.002696 < 0.05. This study emphasizes that Financial Performance plays a more dominant role in influencing investor perception and firm value compared to Capital Structure. Therefore, companies should focus on improving efficiency and profitability to enhance their value in the eyes of the market.

Abstract

Perpustakaan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menyediakan informasi dan mendukung proses pendidikan, terutama bagi masyarakat yang tinggal di daerah terpencil. Namun, ketimpangan akses informasi masih menjadi masalah utama, yang menghambat pemanfaatan perpustakaan di beberapa wilayah. Salah satu solusi yang diterapkan adalah layanan perpustakaan keliling berbasis inklusi sosial yang diinisiasi oleh UPT Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno. Layanan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan akses informasi dan sumber bacaan bagi masyarakat, terutama di sekolah-sekolah yang sulit dijangkau. Selain itu, program ini juga melibatkan tim pengabdian untuk membantu operasional layanan, mulai dari distribusi koleksi buku hingga kegiatan literasi di sekolah-sekolah. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mendampingi pelaksanaan layanan perpustakaan keliling berbasis inklusi sosial di UPT Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno dengan melibatkan tim pengabdian sebagai tenaga tambahan, guna membantu mengatasi keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan memperluas jangkauan layanan ke sekolah-sekolah yang sulit dijangkau. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode partisipatif, dengan pengabdian terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan pendampingan, pemilihan koleksi buku, koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah, serta pelaksanaan kegiatan literasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pendampingan ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan tim pengabdian sebagai bagian dari tim pendamping berhasil membantu UPT Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno dalam memperluas jangkauan layanan perpustakaan keliling. Kolaborasi ini memberikan manfaat yang lebih merata bagi masyarakat, terutama di daerah yang selama ini sulit mengakses informasi, serta mendukung efektivitas pelaksanaan layanan perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial. Program ini memiliki potensi besar untuk mendukung program pembangunan berkelanjutan dengan mengurangi kesenjangan informasi dan meningkatkan literasi masyarakat.

Abstract

Information search is carried out by all groups to support their daily work. This is also done by content creators as content creators so that the content shared is accurate and useful. This study aims to describe the information behavior of content creators using David Ellis' information behavior model. This research is a type of qualitative research. Data collection techniques with interviews and documentation studies. Sampling in the study was selected through a purposive sampling technique. Through this technique, two people were chosen to act as content writers and editors as informants in this study because they were directly involved in developing story ideas and writing video scripts for the "How come?" Youtube channel. Data analysis through data reduction, coding, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that in the early stages, content creators identified their information needs through the main literature; chaining, understanding information, enriching information sources; browsing, tracing information sources both digital and print media; differentiate, choose sources of information according to the preferences of content creators; monitoring, monitoring the flow of development of information sources; extracting, identifying and recording information points; verify, re-check the information that has been collected; ending, do the packaging and share the videos that have been made. The conclusion of the study shows that content creator search behavior is an active information search behavior because they know the need for information and try to fulfill it by finding and selecting sources of information. The results of the analysis show that the main factors that drive information needs into information seeking behavior are due to job demands and their desire to share informative and educative content with audiences. In addition, information search is also carried out to increase their knowledge and insight.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the level of literacy information of State University of Malang students participants in PIMNAS 2018 and 2019 based on six standards of literacy information. This research used descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The results showed that the information literacy level of the State University of Malang students who participated in the PIMNAS 2018 and 2019 based on six sub-variables, there are average score of identifying information needs was 3.43; average score of information-searching behavior and information sources was 3.15; average score of information search techniques and strategies was 2.96; average score of information organization and evaluation was 3.19; average score of information use and related issues was 3.14; and average score of information sharing and knowledge creation was 3.76. The author argue that the State University of Malang Library should be involved in improving student literacy in the category of using techniques and information search strategies.
