Abstract

Ketidakseimbangan kepadatan penduduk yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya terhadap, peningkatan pembelian sepeda motor dari tahun ke tahun yang berdampak terhadap kemacatan lalu lintas. Hal ini menggambarkan bahwa banyak masyarakat sekitar lebih nyaman menggunakan kendaraan pribadi, karena ketika bepergian jarak jauh maupun jarak dekat lebih terjangkau. Meningkatnya penggunaan sepeda motor menyebabkan masalah kompleks dengan terjadinya kemacetan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemacetan lalu lintas akibat dari peningkatan pembelian sepeda motor dari kepadatan penduduk. Peneliti melakukan observasi di wilayah Kecamatan Medan Tembung. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung di lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa kemacetan disebabkan karena pemenuhan kebutuhan yang setiap hari dilakukan, dan jika terjadi kenaikan penduduk maka permintaan sepeda motor akan semakin meningkat.

Abstract

Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat membutuhkan barang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masing-masing baik barang pokok maupun non pokok. Masyarakat sebagai pembeli harus dapat menyesuaikan permintaan begitu juga masyarakat sebagai penjual harus dapat menyesuaikan penawaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis permintaan dan penawaran barang pokok dan non pokok di warung Gang Simalungun yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa factor yaitu harga barang, Kualitas Barang, Kebutuhan Sekitar. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode kualitatif. Adapun teknik mengumpulkan data secara langsung wawancara kepada pemilik Warung tentang permintaan dan penawaran barang pokok dan non-pokok serta faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Hasil penelitian ini semakin tinggi harga barang maka semakin meningkat penawaran dan semakin menurun permintaan. Semakin rendah harga barang maka semakin menurun penawaran dan semakin meningkat permintaan. Dapat disimpulkan Hukum permintaan adalah makin rendah harga barang maka makin banyak permintaan terhadap barang tersebut. Sebaliknya, makin tinggi harga suatu barang maka makin sedikit permintaan barang tersebut. Dan Hukum penawaran adalah makin tinggi harga suatu barang, semakin banyak jumlah barang tersebut akan ditawarkan oleh para penjual. Sebaliknya, makin rendah harga sesuatu barang semakin sedikit jumlah barang tersebut ditawarkan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian berupa deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 8 orang siswa/i kelas XI SMA Swasta UISU Medan tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes tertulis berjumlah 3 soal materi barisan dan deret aritmatika. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh 75% memiliki kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS tingkat C4, 62,5% memiliki kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan soal tingkat C5, dan 50% memiliki kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan soal tingkat C6. Dari hasil tersebut, masih diperlukan adanya evaluasi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika.

Abstract

Income Disparity is a problem that is still being intensively discussed. This journal aims to provide more in-depth knowledge about the economic system and income disparities in Indonesia. The type of research methodology used is descriptive qualitative. The data used in the research is in the form of literature, news stories and books. The results of the discussion show that the factors causing income disparities include investment, Human Development Index (HDI), labor productivity, economic growth, natural resources, differences in demographic conditions and education levels. The impact of income disparities is extreme poverty, and also endangers social stability and economic growth. The proposed solution involves equal development, equal education levels, equal minimum wages, community empowerment and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri perkembangan geometri mulai dari kontribusi Euclid pada era kuno hingga geometri modern yang mencakup penerapan dalam era digital. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian pustaka, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder yang relevan. Bagian awal membahas sumbangan Euclid dalam "The Elements" yang menetapkan dasar geometri Euclidean, dengan fokus pada definisi, postulat, dan teorema yang berperan penting dalam matematika selama berabad-abad. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kemunculan geometri non-Euclidean, seperti geometri hiperbolik dan eliptik, yang didorong oleh ketidaksesuaian pada postulat kesejajaran Euclid. Di era modern, transformasi ini telah memicu berbagai aplikasi dalam teknologi digital, seperti grafika komputer, simulasi ruang, dan algoritma navigasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pergeseran dari geometri Euclidean menuju non-Euclidean mengubah paradigma dalam matematika dan teknologi, menjadikannya relevan dalam perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan masa kini.

Abstract

Purpose - This study critically synthesizes research on the development of technology-based assessment instruments in secondary science education (junior and senior high school) through a structured Narrative Literature Review (NLR). This review therefore identifies instrument types, implementation contexts, research dimensions examined, and learning impacts, while highlighting gaps in equity, teacher readiness, and longitudinal outcomes.Methodology - Articles were systematically retrieved from Google Scholar and Mendeley within the 2015–2025 publication range using predefined keywords related to technology-based assessment and science learning. Inclusion criteria required peer-reviewed empirical studies focusing on secondary-level science and reporting instrument development or evaluation. Fourteen eligible articles were analyzed using structured content analysis, with emphasis on instrument characteristics, evidence of validity and reliability, implementation contexts, methodological approaches, and reported limitations.Findings - The synthesis indicates that research predominantly centers on Computer-Based Testing (CBT), Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT), gamified assessments, two-tier diagnostic tests, and LMS-based e-portfolios. Overall, these instruments demonstrate satisfactory validity and reliability and effectively measure higher-order thinking skills and conceptual understanding. They also enhance student motivation and accelerate feedback processes. However, most evidence is based on short-term, small-scale implementations, with limited attention to equity issues, teacher readiness, and sustained learning effects.Contribution - This review integrates psychometric, pedagogical, and technological perspectives into a coherent analytical framework for technology-based assessment in science education. It clarifies existing research gaps and underscores the need for broader contextual validation, stronger methodological rigor, and the integration of learning analytics to ensure sustainable and evidence-based digital assessment practices.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Adaptive Web-Based Interactive Tutoring (AWBIT) in transforming digital learning and improving students' digital literacy in the Calculus course at the Department of Mathematics Education, State University of Medan. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, involving two classes as experimental and control groups. The experimental group used AWBIT, while the control group used conventional learning. The instruments used include pretest and posttest tests, student response questionnaires, and validation of material and media experts. The validation results showed that AWBIT was very feasible to use with an average score of 3.38 from material experts and 3.43 from media experts. Students responded positively to AWBIT with an average questionnaire score of 3.35 and an practicality of use at 3.75 high.Statistical tests show that the data is distributed normally and homogeneously. The results of the t-test showed a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the experimental and control groups, with a gain score of 0.61 in the experimental group and 0.34 in the control group. These findings show that AWBIT is effective in improving students' learning outcomes and digital literacy. This system provides adaptive, interactive, and personalized learning, according to the individual needs of students. This research supports the integration of technology in learning and is in line with the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach in higher education.

Abstract

Background: Literacy and numeracy are fundamental competencies in fostering critical thinking skills in early childhood; however, early childhood education teachers in Stabat District, Langkat Regency, face limitations in integrating literacy and numeracy instruction with the values of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Objective: This community service program aimed to enhance teachers’ competencies in implementing SDGs-based literacy and numeracy learning in a contextual and meaningful manner. Methods: The program employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach over three months, comprising stages of socialization, training, and workshops; implementation of educational technology; mentoring; and evaluation. Data were collected using pre-test and post-test instruments, classroom observations, and teacher reflections, and were analyzed descriptively by comparing pre- and post-intervention conditions. Results: The findings indicate a significant improvement in teachers’ average understanding of literacy (from 56.4 to 82.1), numeracy (from 53.8 to 80.6), and the integration of the SDGs (from 48.2 to 79.3). In addition, one-way instructional practices decreased from 72.5% to 20.0%, while interactive learning increased to 80.0%, and the use of innovative learning media reached 85.0%. Conclusion: The SDGs-based literacy and numeracy approach effectively strengthened teachers’ pedagogical competencies and promoted more interactive, contextual, and sustainable early childhood learning practices.
