Abstract

One learning strategy that can be implemented to stimulate gross motor skills is outbound activities. Outbound activities are outdoor learning activities packaged in the form of educational games, physical challenges, and group collaboration. Outbound activities are one of the experiential learning strategies that are effective in stimulating the gross motor development of early childhood. This article aims to describe the implementation of outbound activities and their impact on the gross motor development of children at RA Al-Furqon during the Field Experience Practice (PPL) activities. The method used is qualitative descriptive with observation, documentation, and learning practice reflection techniques. The subjects of the activity are children from groups A and B at RA Al-Furqon, totaling 125 children. The results of the practice show that outbound activities such as balloon shaking, marble relay, ball relay, and balance games are able to improve motor coordination, agility, large muscle strength, as well as children's self-confidence. With careful planning and optimal supervision, outbound activities become a fun and effective learning alternative in developing the gross motor skills of early childhood.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of maintaining harmonious working relationships between educators and educational staff in a pesantren environment, which is characterized by collective life, a hierarchical structure, and dynamic social interactions. The purpose of this study is to identify the forms of conflict that occur, analyze their underlying causes, and examine the conflict management strategies implemented to create a harmonious work environment at Pondok Pesantren Al Mandily. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources consist of the mudir (leader), educators, and educational staff. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that: (1) The forms of conflict identified include interpersonal conflicts, such as disagreements in scheduling and differences in understanding individual responsibilities; and intergroup conflicts, such as disparities in adapting to technological changes and ineffective communication. (2) The main causes of conflict include differing views on task implementation, unequal dissemination of information, limited technological proficiency among senior educators, and lack of educator involvement in the scheduling process. (3) The strategies applied include open deliberation, one-on-one discussions, improved formal communication, and the instillation of professionalism and responsibility based on Islamic values. This research affirms that conflict management sensitive to local, spiritual, and social values is crucial for maintaining organizational harmony within the pesantren setting.

Abstract

Strategic communication and management practices play a critical role in shaping public perception, trust, and organizational sustainability, particularly in highly competitive service industries. In Nigeria’s liberalized telecommunication sector, subscribers increasingly evaluate firms not only based on service performance but also on communication strategies and socio-cultural engagement. This study adopted a mixed-methods research design combining a survey of 169 telecommunication subscribers and 30 in-depth interviews conducted in Abuja, Nigeria. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were examined through thematic analysis to capture interpretive insights into public perception. The findings indicate high public awareness of strategic communication practices, with 89% of respondents recognizing deliberate management strategies. Customer service satisfaction was reported by 62% of subscribers, while 86% agreed that CSR and socio-cultural initiatives positively influence perception. Additionally, 86% of respondents indicated that satisfaction motivates them to promote telecommunication services through interpersonal communication. The results demonstrate that subscribers actively interpret strategic communication, customer service encounters, and CSR initiatives as indicators of organizational credibility and commitment. Strategic communication, service quality, and CSR operate as interconnected management practices that shape trust, reputation, and advocacy behavior within Nigeria’s telecommunication industry.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5) in the Islamic Religious Education and Character (PAI-BP) subject at SMA 2 Plus Panyabungan. The research focuses on describing the application of the P5 project in PAI-BP learning. This study employed a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that PAI-BP teachers developed contextual teaching modules using the theme “Build Their Soul and Body” through issues such as bullying, which were linked to Islamic values. The school also provided support for the project’s implementation. As a result, the project has begun to foster students’ awareness of religious values and character traits such as empathy and social care. However, the project’s implementation still requires improvement, particularly regarding school policy, scheduling, teacher training, and sustainable character building to optimally achieve the goal of forming the Pancasila student profile. The novelty of this research lies in connecting the contextual issue of bullying with the PAI-BP subject, positioning Islamic values as a practical solution to ethical problems faced by students. Nonetheless, the findings also indicate that the P5 integration process has not yet run optimally.
