Abstract

Abstract

The phenomenon of religious instrumentalization in identity politics ahead of the election is becoming an increasingly relevant issue in contemporary Muslim society. The use of symbols, narratives, and religious sentiments in political contestation often no longer functions as a means of moral education, but as an instrument of electoral mobilization that has the potential to trigger social polarization. This research aims to analyze the practice of religious instrumentalization in identity politics ahead of the election through the perspective of fiqh siyasah and examine the relevance of fiqh siyasah principles in modern democracy. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach that examines various scientific literature, books, and articles related to identity politics, religious politicization, and fiqih siyasah. The novelty of this research lies in the effort to integrate the principles of classical and contemporary fiqh to evaluate the practice of identity politics in the context of modern democracy. The results of the study show that the use of religion as a tool for political legitimacy is contrary to the principle of justice (al-'adl), deliberation (asy-shura), trust, and benefit which is the basis of the syar'iyyah siyasah. This practice has the potential to shift democracy from the arena of exchanging ideas into an identity conflict that divides society. This research emphasizes the importance of strengthening political literacy, digital literacy, and moderate religious understanding to maintain the function of religion as a source of public ethics and social adhesive. The implication of this research is expected to be a reference for academics, religious figures, and policy makers in building a more inclusive and cultural political culture.

Abstract

Corruption is a serious crime that has a widespread impact on the state and society. However, law enforcement efforts still face various structural and implementation obstacles, such as weak deterrent effects, political intervention, and inconsistent court decisions. This study aims to explore the relationship between the concepts of hudud and ta'zir in Islamic criminal law and efforts to combat corruption within the framework of modern law. The research method used is qualitative through literature review, examining classical fiqh texts, national legislation, and relevant scientific literature. The results of the study indicate that corruption does not fall under the category of hudud because it does not meet the technical and substantive requirements determined by sharia. However, corruption can be classified as a ta'zir crime, which gives judges or authorities the flexibility to impose penalties based on the severity of the crime, ranging from fines, asset recovery, removal from office, to the death penalty in cases that cause widespread harm to the state. Compared to Indonesia's positive legal system, which tends to be weak in enforcing strict sanctions, the principles of ta'zir are considered more responsive and adaptive. Therefore, this finding recommends that the principles of ta'zir be used as a normative and philosophical reference in the formulation of national legal policies to create a more fair, strict, and socially just system for enforcing anti-corruption laws.

Abstract

The problem-solving skills of elementary school students are still a major challenge in 21st century education, especially in the digital era. This study aims to analyze the development of students' problem-solving skills through Scratch-based extracurricular coding at SD Islam Al-Azhar 10 Serang. Using a qualitative case study method with 25 students as subjects, data was collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, which were analyzed using the interactive model Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The results of the study revealed that there is a paradox of implementation, where students are more dominant in the indicators of plan implementation (67%) and evaluation of results (62%), but still low in the indicators of problem identification (51%) and plan preparation (49%). These findings show that extracurricular coding is effective in building students' technical skills and perseverance, but is not optimal in developing conceptual and reflective independence. This study highlights the need for transformation in learning models to optimize the development of algorithmic thinking skills and independent problem solving. A more interactive and student-centered approach is needed to encourage more in-depth high-level thinking skills.

Abstract

Abstract

The low appreciation of nationalist values among elementary school students shows the need for structured and sustainable habituation strategies. This research aims to analyze the process of internalizing love for the homeland based on Pancasila values through familiarization with the song Indonesia Raya and its implications for the formation of an attitude of love for the homeland of class V students at SD YPWKS V. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data sources consist of school principals, fifth grade teachers, and students. Research instruments include observation guidelines, interview guidelines, documentation, and questionnaires. Data collection techniques use non-participatory observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test validity with triangulation. The research results show that internalization takes place through the stages of value transformation, example, and consistent habituation to form discipline, a sense of pride, and an attitude of love for the country. It is recommended that schools maintain program consistency and strengthen the role of teachers as role models in character education.
