Abstract

Educational rights, because women at that time did not receive the same behavior. The presence of the character Siti Walidah provides enlightenment and refreshment for women to continue to hone their potential so that in the context related to feminism and gender, it gives rise to the same thoughts and awareness of women's educational rights. This research aims to analyze the concept of Siti Walidah's thought, the concept of feminism and the relevance of Siti Walidah's thought to feminism in Islamic education.This type of research is a library research using descriptive analysis method. Data through journals, supporting books, by paying close attention to the required thesis. To validate the validity of the data using library study techniques, analyzed using a descriptive model by examining theories, opinions and main ideas contained in books that support and are relevant to the problems discussed in the research. The results of this research explain that Siti Walidah's struggle in pioneering the women's movement in the educational aspect can be seen from Siti Walidah's contribution in the form of Feminism in Islamic Education, namely 1. Siti Walidah's thought concepts including; rejecting the adage of wong wadon iku suwarga nunut nerakene katut wong lanang, consistent thinking towards good deeds nahi ungkar, instilling the philosophy of seni ing pamrih which is in accordance with Islamic philosophy, namely sincerity in doing good deeds, as well as equal education for women which gave birth to educational institutions 2. Feminism is a movement demanding gender equality between men and women. 3. The relevance of Siti Walidah's thoughts to the concept of Feminism is clear in terms of equal rights to education for women so that women today have the freedom to experience the same things as men in education both in the public sphere and at large in society.  Keyword :Siti Walidah tought; Feminism; Relevance; Islamic Education

Abstract

The cross-cultural project of combining Islam and Western humanism is an attempt to explore and integrate humanistic values in an Islamic context. Historically, Muslim intellectual traditions have long interacted with Western thought, from the era of translation of Greek philosophical works to the era of modernization and globalization. This project aims to bridge the gap between the two traditions by identifying universal principles that can be applied in contemporary Muslim societies. Western humanism, which emphasizes individual freedom, human rights and rationality, is often seen as at odds with some traditional interpretations of Islam. However, many Islamic teachings also underscore the importance of human dignity, social justice and moral responsibility. Through dialog and cross-cultural learning, it is hoped that a deeper understanding and harmonious solutions to contemporary challenges faced by Muslim societies can be achieved. This study reviews the history of the relationship between Islam and Western humanism, analyzes the challenges that arise in this integration process, and explores successful examples from Muslim countries such as Turkey and Indonesia. By integrating perspectives from both traditions, this project seeks to create a solid foundation for greater collaboration and understanding, which can ultimately contribute to the creation of a more just, peaceful and humane world.

Abstract

Filsafat ilmu merupakan cabang filsafat yang mengkaji hakikat ilmu, termasuk objek, metode, dan nilainya. Kajian ini terbagi menjadi tiga ranah utama, yaitu ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi. Ontologi membahas tentang hakikat realitas yang menjadi objek ilmu. Dalam kajian keislaman, ontologi menelaah eksistensi Allah, alam semesta, dan manusia sebagai ciptaan-Nya. Hal ini menjadi dasar bagi pemahaman seluruh aspek ilmu dalam kerangka Islam. Epistemologi mengkaji sumber, metode, dan batas pengetahuan. Kajian epistemologi Islam membahas sumber pengetahuan yang sah, seperti Al-Quran, Hadits, dan akal. Selain itu, dibahas pula metode yang tepat untuk memperoleh pengetahuan, seperti penalaran deduktif, induktif, dan ijtihad. Aksiologi meneliti nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam ilmu. Dalam konteks Islam, aksiologi menekankan pentingnya ilmu untuk mencapai kebahagiaan di dunia dan akhirat. Kajian ini membahas nilai-nilai moral, etika, dan spiritual yang menjadi landasan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Memahami ketiga ranah filsafat ilmu ini secara mendalam sangatlah penting dalam kajian keislaman. Hal ini membantu umat Islam dalam memahami hakikat ilmu, mengembangkannya dengan benar, dan menggunakannya untuk kemaslahatan umat manusia.

Abstract

Islamic studies has long been a rich and diverse field of study, encompassing a wide range of disciplines including theology, law, history, and philology. However, sociological and anthropological approaches offer new perspectives that can enrich our understanding of Islam and Muslim societies. This research aims to explore the relevance and contribution of sociology and anthropology in Islamic studies. By utilizing qualitative methods, including literature analysis and in-depth interviews with experts, this research examines how these approaches can provide deeper insights into religious practices, cultural identities, and social dynamics within Muslim communities. Research findings show that sociology helps in understanding social structures and power relationships in Muslim communities, while anthropology provides tools for exploring symbolic meanings and performing ritual practices. The combination of these two approaches opens up opportunities for a more holistic and interdisciplinary study of Islam, which does not only focus on texts and doctrines, but also on the life experiences and daily practices of Muslims. This research concludes that the integration of sociology and anthropology in Islamic studies is very relevant and important to produce a more comprehensive and contextual understanding of Islam in the contemporary world.Keywords: Islamic Studies; Sociology; Anthropology; Interdisciplinary Approach.

Abstract

This research explores Islam as an object of study and research, with a focus on scientific approaches and methodological innovation. This study aims to understand how scientific methods and interdisciplinary approaches can be applied in research on Islam, as well as to evaluate methodological innovations that can improve the quality and relevance of research in this field. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study methods and content analysis. This approach was chosen because this research aims to explore concepts, theories, and methodological innovations in Islamic studies in depth. Apart from that, this research also highlights the importance of using information and communication technology in Islamic research, especially in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating data. The research results show that an interdisciplinary approach and the use of technology can provide a more comprehensive and dynamic perspective in Islamic studies. This research concludes that methodological innovations, such as big data analysis, digital modeling, and participatory methods, have great potential to enrich Islamic studies and address contemporary challenges facing Muslims. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution to developing a more effective and relevant research methodology in Islamic studies. Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji dan mengkritisi tiga disiplin utama dalam studi Islam: ulum Al-Qur’an (ilmu tafsir), ilmu hadits (dirayah dan riwayah), dan ilmu fiqh (ushul fiqh). Dalam ulum Al-Qur’an, makalah ini mengevaluasi metode tafsir tradisional dan modern, menyoroti tantangan hermeneutis dan kebutuhan akan pendekatan kontekstual dalam memahami teks suci. Kritik terhadap ilmu hadits berfokus pada validitas isnad dan matan, menguji keandalan periwayatan dan metode kritik hadits untuk memastikan autentisitas. Dalam ilmu fiqh, makalah ini mengulas prinsip-prinsip ushul fiqh, menilai relevansi kaidah-kaidah hukum dalam konteks kontemporer, serta mengeksplorasi dinamika ijtihad dan taqlid. Melalui analisis kritis ini, makalah ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan perspektif baru yang mendukung pembaruan metodologis dalam studi keislaman, sehingga dapat menjawab tantangan dan kebutuhan umat Islam di era modern. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomenologi tawasul dalam berdoa dengan menganalisis perspektif Al-Qur’an dan Hadits. Tawasul, sebagai praktik memohon pertolongan melalui perantaraan orang-orang saleh atau amal baik, merupakan bagian integral dari tradisi spiritual Islam yang sering menjadi perdebatan di kalangan ulama dan umat Islam. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis untuk memahami makna dan pengalaman subjektif yang terkait dengan tawasul dalam berdoa. Data dikumpulkan melalui telaah pustaka terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dan hadits-hadits yang berhubungan dengan tawasul, serta wawancara mendalam dengan praktisi tawasul di berbagai komunitas Muslim. Analisis dilakukan dengan menginterpretasikan teks-teks suci dan pengalaman pribadi para responden untuk mengungkapkan dimensi teologis, spiritual, dan psikologis dari praktik tawasul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tawasul memiliki landasan teologis yang kuat dalam Al-Qur’an dan Hadits, serta memberikan pengalaman spiritual yang mendalam bagi para praktisinya. Tawasul dipandang sebagai cara untuk memperkuat hubungan dengan Allah, meningkatkan keikhlasan dalam berdoa, dan mendapatkan ketenangan batin. Praktik ini juga berfungsi sebagai jembatan yang menghubungkan individu dengan komunitas spiritual yang lebih luas, menciptakan solidaritas dan kebersamaan di antara umat Islam. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya memahami tawasul bukan hanya sebagai praktik ritual, tetapi juga sebagai fenomena spiritual yang kaya makna. Pendekatan fenomenologis membantu mengungkapkan berbagai dimensi pengalaman religius yang sering kali terabaikan dalam diskusi teologis yang lebih formal. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih holistik tentang praktik tawasul dan memperkaya wacana studi Islam kontemporer. Abstract

The study on Sufism, spirituality, and kalam has become an intriguing subject within the scholarly realm. Adherents of Sufism focus on seeking the divine presence and direct experience with God. Spirituality refers to the non-material dimension of human existence, while kalam, as a branch of Islamic philosophy and theology, elaborates on the principles of faith and religious doctrines. This study aims to analyze scientific research related to Sufism, spirituality, and kalam. The method used is library research employing a descriptive-analytical approach. Data is collected through literature reviews, including scientific articles, books, and relevant publications related to the study's theme. The findings reveal the dynamics and tensions among these three fields, particularly in terms of methodology and objectives. Sufism and spirituality are often considered more subjective and mystical, while kalam tends to be rational and systematic. However, they complement each other in providing a comprehensive framework for understanding faith and religious practice in Islam. Furthermore, this study highlights the importance of balancing mystical experiences and rationality in developing a holistic spiritual understanding.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji integrasi neurosains dengan pendidikan Islam untuk memahami hubungan antara dimensi jasmani dan rohani manusia dari sudut pandang ilmiah dan spiritual. Kajian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan interdisipliner, menggabungkan temuan neurosains modern dan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Fokus utama penelitian adalah mekanisme kerja otak, neuroplastisitas, dan potensi integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual dalam proses pendidikan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa otak manusia memiliki kemampuan neuroplastisitas yang mendukung pembelajaran berkelanjutan, sesuai dengan prinsip Islam. Aktivitas spiritual seperti dzikir dan doa terbukti memengaruhi fungsi neurologis, menurunkan stres, dan meningkatkan fokus serta regulasi emosi. Kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan holistik dalam pendidikan Islam yang mengoptimalkan pengembangan intelektual, emosional, dan spiritual peserta didik. Integrasi neurosains dan pendidikan Islam memberikan kerangka kerja untuk menciptakan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif, berbasis pengalaman, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman. Kajian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan model pendidikan yang mensinergikan prinsip ilmiah dengan nilai-nilai keagamaan serta peningkatan kapasitas pendidik dalam memahami mekanisme kerja otak untuk membentuk generasi insan kamil yang cerdas, berkarakter, dan memiliki kesadaran spiritual yang tinggi.Kata Kunci: Neurosains, Pendidikan Islam, Neuroplastisitas, Dimensi Jasmani dan Rohani, Insan Kamil.

Abstract

Brain development is a complex process that begins during fetal development and continues throughout life. Nutrition plays a crucial role in brain development, especially during the early stages of life. Adequate nutrition, including omega-3 fatty acids, proteins, vitamins, and minerals, supports neuron formation, myelination, and synaptogenesis, which affect cognitive function. Deficiencies in essential nutrients such as iron, folic acid, and vitamin D during growth can hinder brain development and lead to cognitive and behavioral problems later in life. This article discusses the relationship between nutrition and brain development, as well as the importance of a balanced diet during growth to achieve optimal brain function. The findings emphasize the need for increased attention to nutritional needs from pregnancy through early childhood as a preventive measure to improve children's health and cognitive development.
