Abstract

Objective: This research aims to demonstrate elementary school principals' transformational and ethical leadership behavior. Method: This research is a type of research and development (R&D) research, and the development carried out refers to the Borg & Gall theory. The population of this study was school principals in Cluster 1 Diponegoro, Kasui District, Way Kanan Regency. The sample for this research was determined using a total sampling technique based on the research objectives: nine school principals in Gugus 1 Diponegoro. The data collection tool uses a valid and reliable questionnaire instrument. The data analysis technique uses a practicality test and questionnaire feasibility test with a calculated average value of 90 in the practical category. Results: The research results show that the model of transformational leadership behavior and ethical leadership of elementary school principals is practical. This is because the model of transformational leadership behavior and ethical leadership of school principals can significantly influence the quality and performance of teaching staff to create superior schools. Novelty: This research studies the topic further, showing that the model of transformational leadership behavior and ethical leadership of school principals greatly influence the quality and performance of teachers.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan serta kesiapan yang harus dirancang oleh kepala sekolah dan guru-guru untuk mencapai sekolah hijau (Green School) pada sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Pesawaran. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, yaitu: (1) ceramah; menyajikan analisis berbagai peraturan pemerintah terkait sekolah hijau; (2) brainstorming dan diskusi; menggali informasi terkait pemahaman peserta dan upaya yang telah dilakukan; (3) bermain peran; meningkatkan kemampuan leadership peserta; dan (4) analisis dokumen yang diperlukan untuk merancang sekolah hijau (Green School). Sasaran kegiatan adalah kepala sekolah dan guru-guru sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Pesawaran. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah kepala sekolah dan guru mengetahui dan memahami peraturan, konsep, leadership dan hal teknis yang berkaitan dengan merancang sekolah hijau (Green School). Hasil analisis kegiatan pelatihan merancang sekolah hijau bagi guru-guru sekolah dasar di kabupaten Pesawaran menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan persentase antara nilai pre-test dengan nilai post-test pada peserta pelatihan yaitu sebesar 51,44%, dengan nilai rata-rata pre-test peserta pelatihan adalah 53,67 dan rata-rata nilai post-test peserta pelatihan adalah 80,33. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa persentase peningkatan menunjukkan pelatihan merancang sekolah hijau bermanfaat bagi guru-guru sekolah dasar di kabupaten Pesawaran, sehingga melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan guru-guru dapat menciptakan sekolah hijau di tempat bekerjanya masing-masing.

Abstract

Many aspects affect the quality education, one of which is the professional competence of teachers. Teacher competence is interesting topic to learn. This article aims to examine the effect of teacher professional competence on quality education. The articles used in this literature review were those obtained through Google Scholar by using the keywords teacher professional competence and quality oeducation. Based on the results of the literature review, the authors found that the professional competence of teachers has a positive and significant effect on the education quality. Abstract

The rapid and complex changes in education today demand the presence of leaders who are able to overcome the challenges. Principals who practice transformational leadership encourage millennial teachers to have a clear vision, flexibility and the ability to cope with changes in education. The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the effect of transformational leadership behavior of elementary school principals on building the entrepreneurship character of the millennial generation in Tanjung Karang Barat Sub-district, Bandar Lampung City. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 131 elementary school educators in Tanjung Karang Barat District, Bandar Lampung City so that 56 educators. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis used simple regression which had previously been carried out regression prerequisite tests, namely normality test and linearity test. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership behavior of elementary school principals on the entrepreneurial character of the millennial generation in Tanjung Karang Barat District, Bandar Lampung City with the acquisition of the namely 5.276> 2.005. The conclusion in this study is that with inspirational and empowering leadership, principals can motivate and influence millennial educators to build an attitude of entrepreneurship, innovation and independence needed to face real-world challenges and contribute positively to the world of education and society at large.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan kepemimpinan situasional di sekolah melalui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis artikel yang berkaitan dengan penerapan kepemimpinan situasional di sekolah. Penulis mengumpulkan artikel berbahasa Inggris dan Indonesia dari Google Scholar untuk melengkapi penelitian ini, yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2020 hingga 2024. Dari berbagai artikel tersebut, penelitian menyortir 23 artikel yang relevan dengan kata kunci "kepemimpinan situasional", "kepala sekolah", dan "sekolah". Selanjutnya, artikel tersebut dianalisis dan disusun menjadi sebuah pembahasan yang ditulis dalam artikel ini. Dalam menjalankan peran dan tanggungjawabnya, setiap kepala sekolah memiliki karakter atau gaya kepemimpinan yang khas. Salah satu gaya kepemimpinan yang dapat diterapkan oleh seorang pemimpin (kepala sekolah) adalah gaya kepemimpinan situasional (Situasioanal Leadership) yang dikembangkan oleh Paul Hersey dan Ken Blanchard. Hersey dan Blanchard mengidentifikasi gaya kepemimpinan situasioanal dalam empat dimensi yaitu telling, selling, participating, dan delegating. Melalui empat dimensi kepemimpinan situasional tersebut, pada kajian literatur ini penulis menemukan bahwa penerapan kepemimpinan situasional di sekolah dapat mempengaruhi 1) peningkatkan mutu sekolah, 2) tingkat motivasi berprestasi guru, 3) komitmen guru terhadap organisasinya, 4) kinerja guru, 5) profesional guru, 6) motivasi kerja guru, 7) iklim sekolah terhadap integritas guru, 8) budaya sekolah terhadap disiplin kerja guru, 9) komitmen afektif guru, dan 10) komitmen guru terhadap organisasi. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa kepemimpinan situasional dapat menjadi pendekatan yang relevan dan efektif untuk diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah. Namun hasil tinjauan penulis menunjukkan bahwa kajian literatur dan penelitian yang berkaitan dengan penerapan kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah di sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif masih sangat jarang dilakukan bahkan belum pernah dilakukan di wilayah Lampung, maka perlu dilakukan kajian lebih lanjut berkaitan dengan hal ini

Abstract

Kepemimpinan situasional sangat penting, terutama jika diterapkan di institusi pendidikan. Namun, penelitian mengenai kepemimpinan situasional, khususnya di bidang pendidikan, masih sangat terbatas. Kepemimpinan situasional adalah pola perilaku yang ditunjukkan oleh seorang pemimpin ketika memimpin dan mempengaruhi aktivitas orang lain, baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Teori kepemimpinan situasional didasarkan pada hubungan antara: Tingkat bimbingan dan pengarahan (perilaku tugas) yang diberikan oleh pemimpin. Tingkat dukungan emosional (perilaku hubungan) yang diberikan oleh pemimpin. Dengan menggunakan tinjauan literatur, tujuan ini menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan situasional terhadap kinerja guru. Artikel-artikel yang telah dikumpulkan pada subjek yang sama dan diterbitkan dari tahun 2003 hingga 2023 ditinjau secara sistematis untuk pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini menggunakan 14 artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional dari Google Scholar dan Science Direct sebagai sumber referensi. Berdasarkan hasil temuan: (1) kepala sekolah menerapkan kepemimpinan situasional dalam merangkul semua pihak untuk melaksanakan tugasnya seperti memberitahu, menjual, berpartisipasi, mendelegasikan, (2) faktor pendukung penerapan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berupa arahan dan motivasi kepada guru, karyawan, bersikap adil terhadap apa yang harus dilakukan, (3) dampak penerapan gaya kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah dapat dilihat dari tingkat kemampuan dan kedewasaan kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah dapat dilihat dari tingkat kemampuan dan kedewasaan yang dimiliki kepala sekolah

Abstract

This study aims to examine the readiness of vocational school teachers in Lampung to implement deep learning pedagogy and to identify the challenges they face in the process. A quantitative descriptive survey design was employed, with data collected from 1,000 public vocational school teachers using a structured questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, and analyzed through descriptive statistics in Microsoft Excel. The findings indicate that teachers demonstrated medium-to-high readiness, with strong results in access to technology (79%), digital competence (75%), integration and implementation (78%), and innovation and evaluation (77%), while collaboration and professional development were relatively weaker (71%), signaling the need for enhanced peer learning and sustained training. The novelty of this study lies in being among the first to map teacher readiness for deep learning pedagogy in vocational education, offering empirical evidence from a large-scale sample. The results have practical implications for policymakers and school leaders to strengthen digital infrastructure, expand professional development programs, and foster collaborative practices that support sustainable adoption of deep learning. Overall, this study contributes to the global literature by confirming teacher readiness as a decisive factor for the successful implementation of deep learning pedagogy and provides context-specific insights to inform future policy and practice in vocational education.

Abstract

This study focuses on the urgency of instilling character education in elementary school students through habitual activities in the school environment. One of the habitual methods applied is BR3T, which refers to cleanliness, neatness, order, regularity, and maintenance. The purpose of this study is to describe how the BR3T habit is implemented and its effect on character development of students at SD Negeri 2 Rajabasa Lama. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study technique. Participants in this study included the principal, educators, and students. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews, and data collection methods. For data analysis, the Miles and Huberman model was used which includes data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of the study indicate that the BR3T habit is implemented regularly through various activities at school, such as completing assignments on time, community service, lining up before entering class, maintaining order while studying, and caring for and maintaining school facilities, including watering plants, cleaning classrooms, and keeping the library tidy. Implementing this habit has shown a positive impact on students' character development, particularly in fostering discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. Therefore, BR3T can be an effective strategy for internalizing positive character values ​​in elementary school students.

Abstract

In educational institutions, the main human resource is the teacher. Teachers play a vital role as they are directly involved in the teaching-learning process and the development of learners' potential. Teacher performance affects the quality of learning provided to students. To improve teacher performance, training is required. Training is an acronym for education and training. The purpose of this article is to describe the benefits of interactive training in making media for junior high school teachers. This finding uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The initial data obtained were 34 articles on the benefits of training in 2020-2024. After going through a screening process based on criteria, 19 articles were discarded, because they did not have a Sinta database. The results of the article screening showed that there were 15 articles that were analyzed. The results show that training in making interactive media is beneficial and has a positive impact on teachers at the junior high school level. The training not only increases teachers' knowledge and skills, but also their motivation and creativity in teaching.
