Abstract

Problems in learning science (IPA) that occur to the students of SDN 5 Panarung Palangka Raya is the use of learning media that often done by the teacher but it has not been able to give the optimum results. It was signed by the students who can not follow the lesson well because they were tired, and do not have the braveness to argue or give a different idea according to the views and understanding that is in students themselves. This study is aimed to describe the skills of student teachers in implementing learning media based IT. The indicators to measure the achievement of the study conducted by using the principles of qualitative research. The results showed that the implementation of learning by students teacher in SD by using media based IT with the good category with an average score of 3.05. Students’ activity during the learning with media based IT is categorized well on the activity of carrying out the assignment that given by teacher (29.5%). Learning by using learning media based IT can improve students’ learning outcomes. It showed that the learning had been centered to the students.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are for 1) To describe a perception about “Baram” in Dayak Ethnic in Katingan, Central Kalimantan. 2) To analyze the content of alcohol in “Baram”. 3) To analyze the content of microorganism in “Baram”. 4) To exam the Organoleptic in “Baram” in Dayak Ethnic in Katingan, Central Kalimantan. The result of this research showed that 1) People perception in Dayak Ethnic in Katingan, Central Kalimantan toward “Baram” showed that almost all of the people don’t know the content of alcohol in “Baram” so there is a tendency to the people to still use “Baram” as a special drink for special ceremony because they have not enough knowledge about the positive and negative effect from “Baram”. 2) The content of alcohol that consists of “Baram” has a high category of 5,6% ethanol, relatively more high rather than “Tuak” only 4%: 3) The role of microorganism in Baram fermentation process are Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Saccharomyces bayanus and Aspergillus onzae; 4) Based on the result of Organoleptic examination of “Baram” in Dayak Ethnic in Katingan, Central Kalimantan we can conclude that the people like “Baram” because it has special taste and smell.

Abstract

Basic Science lecture with a value of t-test value of 4.714 is greater than t-table value of 2.010635 and Problem Based Learning Model can improve cognitive learning outcomes of students on all the indicators of the indicator 1 (formulating the problem) from 0.60 to 0.78, the indicator 2 (formulating hypotheses) of 0.78 into 0.86, indicator 3 (create tables of data) from 0.18 to 0 , 36, indicator 4 (make a line graph) of 0.54 and 0.20 into a 5 indicator (draw conclusions) from 0.60 to 0.80. In addition the Cooperative Learning Model Groupo investigation type can’t improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive processes of nature Basic Science lecture significantly due to the value of -1.53144 t-count is smaller than t-table value of 2.032244. But the use of cooperative learning model group investigation type can improve learning outcomes 3 indicators of cognitive process in which the indicators 2 (hypothesis formulation) which increased from 0.17 to 0.36, indicator 3 (table creation) which increased from 0.44 becomes 0.61 and indicator 4 (graphing) which increased from 0.72 to 0.80. When seen from the comparison of the two models used the results showed that there are differences in the cognitive processes of learning outcomes of students in the course of nature basic science lecture between learning model Problem Based Learning and Cooperative Learning with group investigation type t value of 3.967 rely more than t table that is equal to 2.019541.

Abstract

The study aimed to Produce Tabela worksheets based on standard local practicum materials, Find out the increase and influence of science process skills, and describe the students' responses after learning using Tabela worksheets. The method of the research was Research & Development with the ADDIE model. The first stage analyzed the needs of the Tabela worksheets based on local practicum materials. The second stage carried out the development of the Tabela worksheets based on local practicum materials using the ADDIE Model. The third stage carried out Implementation/testing on the level of effectiveness, efficiency, and product attractiveness toward the developed product using a quasi-experimental design with a design. The results of product showed that Tabela worksheets had good attractiveness criteria with the score of 3.31, good of efficiency criteria with a score of 3.33, and very good of effectiveness criteria with a score of 3.60. The development result of Tabela worksheets by expert test results stated feasible to use as instructional materials / learning media. And it was shown in the significance test that is the influence of Tabela worksheet on learning outcomes of the tcount> ttable (7.442> 1.668). The effectiveness test showed that there was no significant difference and indicated by tcount> ttable (1.615 <1.673), but the student learning outcomes increased with the average pretest of 43.44 and posttest of 61.09. The differences between pretest and posttest in the average score were 17.65 and N gain was 0.31 in the medium category. The students provided positive responses using Tabela worksheets.

Abstract

The study aimed to (1) describe the science process activities of the fifth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya during learning by using the LAB Tabela (3) to find out the improvement of science processes of Muhammadiyah elementary school students in Palangkaraya city. The subjects in this study were all 27th-grade students of Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan. The research method used by researchers was to use the class action research method with two cycles. The analysis technique in this study uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study show that the science process activities of students in learning using the LKS Tabela on average 2.92 are sufficient in the first cycle and the second cycle the excellent category is the average score of 3.79, and the results of the science process test showed an increase from the average pretest of 59.75 to an average of 89.5 in posttest, N gain of 0.82 in the high category. Through learning by using Tabela LKS able to improve learning outcomes and science process skills of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan persepsi mahasiswa tentang pembelajaran daring di tinjau dari (1) asal Program Studi mahasiswa, (2) mata kuliah yang ditempuh, dan (3) jenis kelamin. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa FKIP UM Palangkaraya semester Genap tahun akademik 2019/2020. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang memprogramkan mata kuliah Metodologi Penelitian, Teknik Penulisan Karya Ilmiah, Problematika Pembelajaran, dan mata kuliah Belajar Pembelajaran. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket daring sebanyak 17 butir pertanyaan yang sudah divalidasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis varian satu jalur dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada populasi mahasiswa FKIP UM Palangkaraya: (1), Tidak ada perbedaan persepsi tentang perkuliahan sistem daring jika ditinjau dari program studi mahasiswa, dengan nilai F hitung = 2,421 dan Sig 0.122 > 0.05, (2) Tidak ada perbedaan persepsi tentang perkuliahan sistem daring jika ditinjau dari jenis mata kuliah yang ditempuh mahasiswa, dengan nilai F hitung = 1,042 dan Sig 0.376 > 0.05, (3) Ada perbedaan persepsi tentang perkuliahan sistem daring jika ditinjau dari jenis kelamin mahasiswa, dengan nilai F hitung = 15,162 dan Sig 0.000 < 0.05. Dari analisis deskriptif diketahui bahwa mahasiswa laki-laki cenderung memiliki persepsi lebih positif tentang perkuliahan daring dibanding mahasiswa perempuan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of ‘Aisyiyah's Legal Aid Post (Posbakum) Central Kalimantan in providing legal assistance and supporting the policies of the Palangka Raya city government towards legal protection for women and children amid the Covid-19 pandemic. A qualitative-descriptive approach that describes people's behavior by highlighting events in the field and certain activities in detail and depth was used as the research method. The study describes the role of Posbakum ‘Aisyiyah in the form of legal assistance activities for clients starting from the reporting to the court counseling by its lawyer. The cases handled are mostly domestic violence, inability to provide a living, and abandoning the wife and children for another woman. One of the successes of legal aid posts in handling cases of domestic violence is contained in a copy of decision number 473/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Plk. Meanwhile, Posbakum works with the Division of Women and Children’s Empowerment of the PPKBP3APM Office Palangka Raya City to provide counseling on family resilience and skill training for housewives to provide protection and empowerment for women and to improve the community economy amid the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Langkah-langkah menanamkan nilai pendidikan karakter terhadap peserta didik; 2) Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam etika wirausaha (praktik kewirausahaan).  Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif. Subjek Penelitian ini adalahkepala sekolah, Guru dan Peserta didik.Adapun prosedur penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Melakukan studi pendahuluan ke lokasi penelitian yaitu SMA Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya; (2) Menyusun instrumen penelitian; (3) Merancang prosedur pengambilan data;  (4) Pelaksanaan; dan 5) Analisis data. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui  wawancara tidak terstuktur, angket dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data (display data), verifikasi dan  simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1)  Langkah-langkah menanamkan nilai pendidikan karakter pada peserta didik terdiri dari beberapa tahapan; mulai dari perencanaan guru menyusun Rencana pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang menarik dengan meintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakterdan evaluasi pembelajaran untuk mengukur dan melihat sejauhmana pendidikan karakter tersebut diterapkan dalam etika wirausaha; 2) Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam etika wirausaha di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangkarayadengan menanamkan karakter disiplin, jujur, kreativitas, ulet, dan komunikatif secara umum dengan kategori baik, yang ditunjukkan: (a) Kegiatan praktikpenjualan langsung dengan kategori cukup baik; (b) Kegiatan praktik kewirausaan kelompok dengan kategori baik; (c) Penggunaan poster untuk meningkatkan gairah berwirausaha dengan kategori baik; (d) Pemberian reward bagi peserta didik maupun guru mendapatkan respon positif.___________________________________________________________________ This study aims to determine the: 1) Steps to instill the value of character education in students and to find out how to; 2) Implement character education in entrepreneurial ethics (entrepreneurial practice). This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The subjects of this study were teachers and students. The procedures for this research are: (1) Conducting a preliminary study to the research location, namely SMA Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya; (2) Develop research instruments; (3) Design data collection procedures; 4) Implementation; and (5) Analysis data collection techniques through unstructured interviews, observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive through data reduction, data presentation (data display), verification and conclusions. The results showed that: 1) The steps to instill the value of character education in students consisted of several stages; starting from teacher planning in compiling entrepreneurial learning plans, implementing interesting learning by integrating character values, as well as conducting and evaluating to measure and see to what extent character education is well implemented by students; 2) Implementation of character education in entrepreneurial ethics at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangkaraya by instilling disciplined, honest, creative, tenacious, and communicative characters. The results of the implementation of character education: (a) Direct selling practice activities in a fairly good category; (b) Entrepreneurship practice activities with good categories; (c) The use of posters to increase entrepreneurial enthusiasm with good categories; (d) Giving rewards to students and teachers getting a positive response.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam mendampingi peserta didik pada saat pembelajaran dari dimasa pandemi covid 19.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif . Subjek penelitian ini adalah Guru kelas V, orang tua dan peserta didik kelas V di SD Islam Nurul Ihsan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Prosedur analisis data menggunakan tahapan yang terdiri dari Pengumpulan Data, Reduksi Data, Penyajian Data, dan Penarikan  Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua peserta didik kelas V SD Islam Nurul Iiihsan Palangkaraya mengalami kesulitan dalam mendampingi peserta didik belajar dirumah pada masa pandemi covid-19 karena factor dalam dan factor luar.  Faktor dalam  yaitu 1) kurangnya pengetahuan dan pendidikan orang tua, 2) minimnya waktu yang dimiliki orang tua untuk mendampingi dan mengawasi peserta didik 3) kurangnya komunikasi antara orang tua dan peserta didik 4) orang tua kurang mampu memberikan motivasi sedangkan faktor dari luar yaitu factor guru, yakni 1) kurang maksimalnya penjelasan guru terhadap materi dan 2) tingkat ekonomi keluarga. Rekomendasi dari penelitian adalah adalah guru dan kepala Sekolah hendaknya membekali orang tua untuk mendampingi belajar anak di rumah melalui kegiatan pelatihan pendampingan pembelajaran Daring bagi orangtua.____________________________________________________________________This study aims to determine the role of parents in assisting students during learning from the covid 19 pandemic. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The subjects of this study were fifth grade teachers, parents and fifth grade students at Nurul Ihsan Islamic Elementary School. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis procedure uses stages consisting of Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Drawing Conclusions. The results showed that parents of fifth grade students at the Islamic Elementary School Nurul Iiihsan Palangkaraya had difficulties in assisting students to study at home during the COVID-19 pandemic due to internal and external factors. Internal factors are 1) lack of parental knowledge and education, 2) lack of time for parents to accompany and supervise students 3) lack of communication between parents and students 4) parents are less able to provide motivation while external factors are factors teachers, namely 1) the teacher's explanation of the material is less than optimal and 2) the economic level of the family. The recommendation from the research is that teachers and principals should equip parents to assist their children's learning at home through online learning mentoring training activities for parents.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine: (1) the influence of the implementation of inquiry model toward the skill of student science process of Biology Education students of Palangka Raya university, (2) the influence of PBM model toward the skill of student science process of Biology Education students of Palangka Raya university, (3) the influence of GI type cooperative learning toward the skill of student science process of Biology Education students of Palangka Raya university, (4) the difference of influence of inquiry model, PBM, GI toward the skill of student science process of Biology Education students of Palangka Raya university. The design of the research used of pretest and posttest control group design. The sample of the research was the students who take the plant physiology class. The data were collected by written tests and observations about the students' science processes. Unovariate of covariance analysis (anacova) was used in data analysis of learning outcome of science process. The research results showed that there are a significant influence of innovative learning models toward the student science process, which are of inquiry model of score F = 34.978; p = 0.000; PBM model of score F = 24.636; p = 0.000; and cooperative learning model of type inquiry group of score F = 9.361; p = 0.030.
