Abstract

One of the things that prevents harvest outcomes from being as good as expected is the pests. Making a pest repellent with solar power is one attempt to tackle pests. The purpose of this tool is to lessen crop losses brought on by pests such as birds, insects, and rats. This device uses eco-friendly frequency sounds to ward off pests without jeopardizing the ecosystem's ability to sustain itself. This study sought to determine how using pest repellents could improve agricultural output while maintaining the sustainability of the surrounding ecosystem. Based on data analysis findings, it was determined that pest repellents and agricultural productivity had a significant positive relationship for the sustainability of the environmental ecosystem (R 0.662 and sig.0,000).

Abstract

One of the areas in Madiun where the majority of the population has livestock is Banjarsari Village. Unfortunately, the large number of residents who have livestock has not adequately balanced with managing or processing animal waste. If managed and processed correctly, livestock waste has benefits and can produce economic value. One of the efforts to manage and process sound livestock waste is to utilize it as an energy source, such as biogas. Biogas produced from livestock waste can be used to meet the daily energy needs of the community. To produce good quality biogas, technology is needed to process and process it, namely a digester. Based on the results of livestock waste processing, the digester barrel's capacity is 150 - 200 litres. The capacity of the biogas bag is 500 litres. When complete, the biogas bag can produce gas for 60 to 120 minutes of cooking. This condition allows the community to produce energy independently by utilizing livestock waste for daily needs.

Abstract

MSMEs in Malang that are engaged in the food and beverage industry still carry out the process of chopping ingredients using simple equipment. Most MSMEs chop ingredients using a blender or manually using a knife. This condition clearly causes culinary production on a MSME scale not maximized. It is necessary to develop technology that can help MSMEs to improve the quality and quantity of their production. Based on the results of community service activities by developing automatic spice chopping technology for healthy drink businesses, MSMEs can produce much more varied products. This is because the role of technology makes the production process much faster and can be easy to innovate. Technology functions as an important element in the development of MSMEs, encouraging innovation, increasing operational efficiency, and expanding market access. Although challenges still exist in the form of limited resources and skills, targeted support from the government and educational institutions can empower MSMEs to utilize the potential of technology to the maximum. As the business landscape continues to evolve, the ability of MSMEs to adapt and innovate through technology will be very important for their sustainability and growth.

Abstract

Gama Jaya Motor is a car repair and maintenance workshop located in Surabaya. As a business entity, Gama Jaya Motor needs to manage its property to support its operations, one of which is building maintenance. In a workshop business, the customer waiting room is one of the most important aspects of property management, as it is directly used by customers. The interior of the customer waiting room should be designed to be attractive and aesthetically pleasing while maintaining customer comfort. This can be achieved by implementing an interior design concept based on smart living. This concept integrates various smart devices based on the Internet of Things (IoT) into the interior or building design, not only to enhance customer comfort but also to improve the operational efficiency of the workshop. This study employs a design-based case study method. The design process is carried out through field observations, interviews, and an analysis of spatial and technological requirements that can be integrated. The smart devices applied in the design include automatic lighting systems, CCTV, smart switches, smart sockets, and IoT-based temperature control systems. In addition to enhancing customer comfort, the implementation of the smart living concept is also expected to improve energy efficiency and the security of the workshop environment.

Abstract

Workshop is one type of building that accommodates unusual activities and requires special handling. Therefore, in carrying out workshop building maintenance, a guideline is needed. One of them is SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). SOP is useful for ensuring consistency and efficiency in workshop building maintenance. Maintenance activities will be recorded properly. In addition, the existence of SOP can be a guideline for building maintenance according to applicable provisions. One of the provisions related to building maintenance is Permen PU No. 24/PRT/M/2008 concerning Guidelines for Building Maintenance and Care. This study aims to compile a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for workshop building maintenance based on Permen PU No. 24/PRT/M/2008. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews. Observations were made in the workshop building to see the construction specifications. Meanwhile, interviews were conducted with users and building managers to find out the activities in the building. The results of this study are SOPs for building maintenance that can be applied to workshops.

Abstract

Perumahan Pakis Hasanah Malang merupakan kawasan hunian baru dengan lebih dari 100 kepala keluarga (KK). Namun, pengelolaan sampah di lingkungan ini masih menghadapi kendala, terutama dalam frekuensi pengambilan sampah yang hanya dilakukan dua kali seminggu. Akibatnya, terjadi penumpukan sampah pada hari-hari tertentu yang berpotensi menimbulkan permasalahan lingkungan dan kesehatan. Selain itu, sampah rumah tangga di wilayah ini belum dipilah berdasarkan jenisnya, sehingga peluang untuk pengelolaan yang lebih berkelanjutan belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu PKK RT.27/RW.03 dalam memilah serta mengelola sampah rumah tangga melalui edukasi dan pelatihan pembuatan eco-enzyme. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya pemilahan sampah dan pelatihan praktik pembuatan eco-enzyme sebagai salah satu solusi pengelolaan limbah organik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran peserta terkait pentingnya pemilahan sampah serta manfaat eco-enzyme dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan masyarakat dapat menerapkan konsep pengelolaan sampah yang lebih baik dan berkontribusi dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat

Abstract

Belajar secara online saat ini semakin mudah dan digemari oleh masyarakat dengan adanya pengembangan-pengembangan yang terus dilakukan oleh penyelenggara pendidikan. Tak ketinggalan Universitas Negeri Malang sebagai learning university berkomitmen untuk menyelenggarakan pembelajaran digital yang bermutu dan inovatif. MOOC adalah salah satu platform LMS yang dikembangkan oleh UM untuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran bagi masyarakat umum. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan konten pembelajaran digital untuk kursus daring berbasis MOOC. Kegiatan ini juga mewujudkan RENSTRA UM sebagai penyelenggara pembelajaran digital yang berkualitas yang dapat diakses oleh masyarakat umum. Sasaran peserta merupakan masyarakat umum yang ingin mempelajari tentang seluk beluk produksi patiseri, sehingga pengetahuan dan keahlian mereka bertambah. Kursus produksi patiseri merupakan salah satu bidang kajian yang diminati masyarakat, ilmu dan keterampilan yang didapat bisa menjadi bekal mereka untuk mandiri dengan berwirausaha memproduksi produk patiseri yang dapat menjadi mata pencaharian mereka. Pengembangan konten yang berkualitas dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan masayarakat kepada UM sebagai penyelenggara pendidikan tinggi yang profesional dan berkualitas.

Abstract

E-learning telah menjadi pilihan beberapa institusi pendidikan tinggi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan keterjangkauan pendidikan. Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi juga memiliki infrastruktur e-learning yang disebut SIPEJAR(Sistem Pembelajaran Dalam Jaringan), yaitu merupakan Learning Management System berbasis Moodle. Moodle didesain dengan berbagai fitur yang bisa dimanfaatkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan, proses kegiatan berbasis internet ini dapat melalui situs web dan mobile yang dibangun khusus dengan prinsip social constructionst pedagody yang dapat membantu pengajar dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengalamannya belajar mandiri mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Tata Boga UM pada SIPEJAR Matakuliah Manajemen Pelayanan Makanan Dan Minuman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, indikator pengalaman belajar mandiri yang diteliti diantaranya meliputi motivasi belajar, strategi belajar, peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan setelah belajar. Hasilnya diharapkan dapat menjadi indikator pengembangan SIPEJAR sebagai media belajar mandiri mahasiswa.
