Abstract

The decline in manners has become an increasingly concerning issue impacting student development, which, if left unaddressed, may adversely affect their future prospects. This developmental study aims to produce a sociodrama guidebook incorporating the values of Serat Sasana Sunu to enhance students’ polite behavior, ensuring its acceptability through expert evaluations and feedback from prospective users. The research employed the Borg and Gall development model, proceeding through the first five stages tailored to the study’s requirements. Results indicate that the guidebook received an average rating of 3.2 from material experts, categorized as feasible; 3.58 from media experts, deemed very feasible; and 3.98 from prospective users, also classified as very feasible. Based on these assessments, the guidebook is concluded to be highly suitable for implementation (mean score = 3.58). This development contributes by enriching service materials aligned with student needs and offers an innovative intervention by integrating local cultural elements. Nevertheless, the study’s limitations include its confinement to initial trials and product revisions. Future research is recommended to evaluate the guidebook’s effectiveness comprehensively.

Abstract

Student well-being is a crucial factor influencing academic engagement, psychological adjustment, and overall success in higher education, particularly during the first year of study when students face significant academic and social transitions. First-year students often experience challenges such as adapting to new learning environments, managing academic demands, and building social connections, which can affect their psychological well-being. This study aims to analyze and explore the level of well-being among first-year students in the Guidance and Counseling program. Using a survey design, the research involved 188 active first-year students selected from five student cohorts. Data were collected through an online questionnaire consisting of 18 items measured on a 4-point Likert scale, and analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that 77% of students fall within the moderate category of well-being, 20% in the high category, and 3% in the low category. Conceptually, these findings suggest that the majority of students maintain an adequate level of psychological well-being, yet there remains a considerable proportion requiring targeted support. The study concludes that enhancing responsive self-development programs is essential to strengthen the psychological well-being of first-year students during their academic transition.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Hubungan percintaan pada remaja saat ini cukup mengkhawatirkan. Maraknya kekerasan seksual berdampak paa berbagai aspek, salah satunya terkait harga diri. Rendahnya harga diri dapat menimbulkan permasalahan mental seperti depresi, kecemasan, dan permasalahan dalam pembelajaran. Dalam pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kembali harga diri dan hubungan sehat remaja di SMP Negeri 1 Kasembon melalui strategi Problem Based Learning (PBL) serta siswa dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan serta menerapkan hubungan sehat remaja. Metode yang akan digunakan meliputi: 1) delegasi dari masing-masing kelas yang akan dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok kecil; 2) sosialisasi, hal tersebut memiliki kaitan dengan penyampaian materi mengenai studi kasus perilaku toxic love; 3) analisis kasus, kasus yang diberikan berkaitan dengan perilaku hubungan tidak sehat (toxic love) dan bagaimana siswa tersebut mampu mengatasi kasus menggunakan langkah-langkah problem based learning dibagi dalam kelompok kecil; dan 4) penutup. Mitra sasaran dalam pengabdian ini SMP Negeri 1 Kasembon Malang dengan jumlah peserta 35 siswa pada semua jenjang.  Hasil yang dicapai secara keseluruhan siswa dapat memahami materi yang telah disampaikan dan siswa dapat memecahkan masalah dengan menjawab persoalan dari kasus yang diberikan sera mampu mempresentasikan hasil analisis kasusnya dengan baik. Kata kunci: toxic love; hubungan sehat; problem based learning ABSTRACTRomantic relationships among teenagers today are quite worrying. The rise of sexual violence has an impact on various aspects, one of which is related to self-esteem. Low self-esteem can lead to mental problems such as depression, anxiety, and problems in learning. In this community service, the aim is to restore self-esteem and healthy relationships for teenagers at SMP Negeri 1 Kasembon through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategy and students can increase their knowledge and implement healthy relationships for teenagers. The methods that will be used include: 1) delegations from each class will be divided into several small groups; 2) socialization, this is related to the delivery of material regarding case studies of toxic love behavior; 3) case analysis, the cases given are related to unhealthy relationship behavior (toxic love) and how the students are able to overcome the case using problem-based learning steps divided into small groups; and 4) closing. The target partner in this community service is SMP Negeri 1 Kasembon Malang with a total of 35 students at all levels. The results achieved overall students can understand the material that has been presented and students can solve problems by answering questions from the cases given and are able to present the results of their case analysis well. Keywords: toxic love; healthy relationship; problem based learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan permainan simulasi “Langkah Positif” sebagai salah satu alternatif metode bimbingan kelompok untuk peningkatan nilai moral keberanian siswa. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi model prosedural penelitian dan pengembangan dari Borg and Gall (1983). Subjek uji coba penelitian ini melibatkan ahli media pembelajaran, ahli materi bimbingan dan konseling, konselor dan siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah inventori nilai moral keberanian siswa, instrumen penilaian ahli, konselor sebagai calon pengguna produk dan siswa sebagai sasaran layanan. Data hasil penilaian dari ahli media pembelajaran, ahli materi bimbingan dan konseling, dua konselor dan 13 siswa SMKN 5 Malang menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan untuk peningkatan nilai moral keberanian siswa.

Abstract

The competency of vocational high school guidance and counseling teachers (SMK BK Teachers) is very important to be improved in facing the challenges of the 4.0 revolution era. It is hoped that the enhancement of the competency of the Vocational School Guidance and Counseling Teachers will be able to help students think analytically, evaluatively, creatively, and in complex ways known as High Order Thinking Skills (HOTs) and develop students' career readiness. Therefore, vocational high school guidance and counseling teachers must have creative and innovative strategies in providing career guidance services. Creative and innovative forms can be seen in the design of career guidance that is oriented towards developing 21st-century skills, namely critical thinking skills, creating thinking skills, collaborative skills, and communications skills (Four C's). The method is to apply a project-based learning model with an “in-on-in” pattern, namely three activities including one synchronous off-line activity, one asynchronous online activity, and one assignment activity. The number of participants is 20 teachers, teachers of vocational high school guidance and counseling in Malang City with a pattern of 32 lesson hours and conducted in four weeks. This training succeeded in adding to the insight and competence of the guidance and counseling teachers of vocational high schools to compile a career guidance design by compiling RPLBK and animated video media with using the powtoon app.

Abstract

Social loafing is the tendency of individuals to reduce their contribution when they are in a group. This phenomenon reflects maladaptive personal characteristics, which ideally should not be exhibited by Guidance and Counseling students at a university in Malang City. This study aims to explore views, actions, and causal factors of social loafing from the perspective of personality development based on Gestalt counseling theory. The research method used a qualitative phenomenological approach and Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. The results of the study show that social loafing is a reflection of maladaptive personality in Gestalt counseling theory. This is indicated by views related to an incomplete awareness of roles when working in a group. In addition, there is also evidence of behavior that is less motivated and responsible as part of a group. The causes of the social loafing phenomenon identified are a rigid self-image and failure to maintain values due to environmental influences. This research contributes to guidance and counseling, particularly in higher education, with considerations for implementing both preventive and corrective services related to social loafing. Furthermore, it can also serve as a reference for the education sector to provide a group work environment that reduces social loafing among members.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to reveal the dynamics of student behavior in the context of working on group assignments in the lecture environment. Through a qualitative approach, various patterns of student participation were found that reflected adaptation strategies to collective responsibility, procrastination tendencies, and social dependence. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation of student group activities in completing academic assignments. The results of the study showed that students tended to choose easy tasks, postpone work until they were close to the deadline, avoid leadership positions, and adjust the intensity of contributions based on the quality of group members. This phenomenon indicates the diffusion of social responsibility and efficiency strategies in the context of collaborative learning. This research provides implications for lecturers to design an assessment system and evaluation mechanism that fosters a sense of personal responsibility in group work. Keyword: Group Assignments, Student Participation, Procrastination, Social Dependence, Collective Responsibility Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dinamika perilaku mahasiswa dalam konteks pengerjaan tugas kelompok di lingkungan perkuliahan. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, ditemukan berbagai pola partisipasi mahasiswa yang mencerminkan strategi adaptasi terhadap tanggung jawab kolektif, kecenderungan prokrastinasi, serta ketergantungan sosial. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif terhadap aktivitas kelompok mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa cenderung memilih tugas yang mudah, menunda pengerjaan hingga mendekati batas waktu, menghindari posisi kepemimpinan, serta menyesuaikan intensitas kontribusi berdasarkan kualitas anggota kelompok. Fenomena ini mengindikasikan adanya difusi tanggung jawab dan strategi efisiensi sosial dalam konteks pembelajaran kolaboratif. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bagi dosen untuk merancang sistem penilaian dan mekanisme evaluasi yang menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab personal dalam kerja kelompok. Kata kunci: Tugas Kelompok, Partisipasi Mahasiswa, Prokrastinasi, Ketergantungan Sosial, Tanggung Jawab Kolektif

Abstract

This development study produced a guide for counselors and a self-disclosure simulation game media that was used to increase self-disclosure in junior high school students. This development research uses the Borg & Gall (1983) model: conducting needs analysis, planning, developing initial products, expert testing (BK material experts & media experts), results of expert testing and testing of potential product users (counselors), product revisions, field testing initial and final product revision of the simulation game guide and simulation game media, based on the results of data analysis of assessments by experts and potential users, it can be concluded that this simulation game guide for counselors and simulation game media is very appropriate, very useful, very easy, and very interesting. Therefore, the self-disclosure simulation game for junior high school students is very suitable for use as a guidance service by counselors for students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' self concept elementary school level are often absent from school for more happy participated send goods by driving a truck, factors that affect the self-concept of students as well as learned behavior arising from the self-concept. This research is a qualitative case study type that includes the steps of: 1) Define the research questions, 2) Select the case and determine data gathering and analysis techniques, 3) Prepare to collect the data, 4) Collect data in the field, 5) Evaluate and analyze the data, and 6) Prepare the report. Data is collected using interview and observation techniques. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this research are three self-concept of students that consist of: (a) I can drive and will be a driver, (b) I was the mainstay of the family that should help make a living, and (c) I'm not good at math. In addition, other results of this study are the factors that affect self-concept of students consists of factors originating from within the students, which is realized by comparing themselves with others, and the factors that come from outside in the form of the process of identifying the behavior of his grandfather by him , Also well-known as well as learned behavior that arise from student self-concept that includes ditching and passive when in class.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of information service media "dealing with changes in puberty" for elementary school students. The research method used is research and development adapted from the Borg and Gall development model with the following procedures: (1) planning; (2) product development; (3) product testing; (4) final product revision. Product trial data is analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the results of the product trial assessment, it can be concluded that the product is very appropriate, very useful, very easy and very interesting theoretically and practically, so it can be used as a medium for guidance in dealing with changes during puberty.
