Abstract

ABSTRACT Arabic learners often encounter obstacles in the form of interference from their mother tongue or the first language they master. This is one of the consequences of using the mother tongue too often in daily conversation and is included as one of the language errors. This study aims to (1) determine the process of language interference in Arabic against students in the Arabic language learning center area at the Al-Qodiri Islamic Boarding School Jember, (2) find out the types of language interference. This research uses descriptive qualitative research to get the results the researcher wants. The results of this study indicate that there are 3 types of language interference, namely: arrangement interference, morphological interference (prefix-infic-suffix) and syntactic interference (grammatical).

Abstract

Abstrak Berkomunikasi Bahasa arab tidak akan tercapai dengan baik tanpa adanya trik jitu dalam pembelajaran percakapan bahasa arab, maka dibutuhkan trik-trik khusus dalam mempercepat komunikasi bahasa arab. Kampung Ki Ageng gribig kedungkandang malang merupakan kampung yang berada di area pemakaman tokoh penyebar islam pertama di malang. Untuk menjadi kampung santri masyarakatnya memerlukan kemampuan berkomunikasi bahasa arab yang baik. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah menjadikan masyarakat kampung gribig memiliki kemampuan berkomunikasi bahasa arab sederhana dengan baik dengan diberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan terkait trik khusus berkomunikasi cepat dalam bahasa arab bagi masyarakat sekitar. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah metode PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) yaitu dengan melakukan pendekatan pemberdayaan dan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, yang tekanannya pada keterlibatan masyarakat dalam keseluruhan kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat kampung ki ageng gribig dapat berkomunikasi Bahasa arab sederhana dengan lancar walaupun masih terdapat kesulitan dalam pengungkapan kalimat. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, trik cepat, komunikasi bahasa arab

Abstract

As stipulated in Islam, marital responsibilities will remain even after the marriage ends. Therefore, the term "maintenance" is known. The provision of maintenance is divided into two types: maintenance provided within marriage and maintenance provided outside of marriage. One type of maintenance provided outside of marriage is the iddah maintenance, which is the mandatory maintenance provided to the wife during her iddah period. However, its implementation deviates from the rules. The purpose of this study is to confirm the obligation of iddah maintenance for husbands. This type of research is an empirical juridical study with a case study approach. The research technique was conducted through observation and interviews with informants in Demangan Village, Bangkalan, using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. Analyzing the applicable regulations, it is clear that the provisions of maintenance are well-regulated. However, in reality, many residents of Demangan Village deviate and refuse to fulfill their maintenance obligations. This study contributes to strengthening the sense of responsibility of providing iddah maintenance for husbands to their ex-wives during the iddah period of divorce

Abstract

Reading ability constitutes a fundamental life skill that is not limited to the academic context but also plays a vital role in social interaction. Through reading activities, learners can broaden their knowledge and deepen their understanding across various fields. To increase students’ motivation in learning Arabic, particularly in improving their reading competence, teachers should implement effective and engaging instructional strategies. One of the effective approaches is the method grounded in Albert Bandura's Social Cognitive Theory (SCT). This study aims to analyze The Albert Bandura’s Social Cognitive Theory on improving students’ reading skills at Bahrul Ulum Junior high school. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 39 students (n = 20 experimental; n = 19 control) selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via observation, documentation, and a pretest-posttest instrument comprising multiple-choice reading comprehension items and Arabic oral reading tests. The findings are as follows: first, the implementation of SCT was operationalized through three instructional stages, the opening stage, the core application stage, and the closing stage. During the core stage, four SCT components were systematically activated: attention (students observed the teacher modeling fluent Arabic reading), retention (students encoded pronunciation patterns and intonation), reproduction (students practiced oral reading independently and in pairs), and motivation (students received constructive feedback and positive reinforcement). Second, the application of this theory produced a statistically significant effect on reading skill improvement. The experimental class demonstrated higher mean score gains than the control class, with differences of 9.25 versus 4.84 on the oral reading test, and 17.5 versus 11.57 on the multiple-choice comprehension test. Paired sample t-test results yielded p = 0.00 (p < 0.05) for both instruments, leading to the rejection of H₀ and acceptance of Hₐ. Effect size analysis using Cohen's d indicated a large effect for oral reading (d = 1.24) and a medium effect for reading comprehension (d = 0.46), confirming the practical significance of the intervention. These findings suggest that Albert Bandura's Social Cognitive Theory can positively support students' reading development in similar Arabic language learning contexts. Nevertheless, generalizability should be interpreted cautiously given the single-site setting and relatively small sample size. Future research involving larger and more diverse samples across multiple institutions is recommended to further validate these findings

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis bentuk-bentuk antonim yang terdapat dalam Surah Al-Waqi'ah berdasarkan perspektif John I. Saeed. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber utama penelitian ini adalah Surah Al-Waqi'ah, sementara sumber sekunder meliputi buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah terkait konsep antonim dalam bahasa Arab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya beberapa jenis antonim dalam Surat Al-Waqi'ah, yaitu antonim sederhana, antonim bertingkat, antonim kebalikan, antonim konversi, dan antonim taksonomi. Analisis ini tidak hanya mengungkap struktur linguistik Al-Qur'an, tetapi juga memperdalam pemahaman tentang makna teologis yang terkandung di dalamnya. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pemahaman semantik dalam menganalisis teks Al-Qur'an dan membuka jalan bagi studi lebih lanjut tentang penggunaan antonim dalam konteks keagamaan

Abstract

Minat belajar merupakan bagian terpenting dalam keberhasilan belajar siswa. Sehingga penelitian ini mengkaji penghambat minat belajar bahasa arab siswa di MA Muhammadiyah Kota Bima. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan sumber data dari kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar bahasa Arab siswa di MA Muhammadiyah Kota Bima rendah. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya meliputi faktor internal (motivasi dan bahasa) dan faktor eksternal (metode pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, sekolah, dan pra sarana). Dengan solusi meningkatkan minat belajar bahasa Arab siswa di MA Muhammadiyah Kota Bima adalah dengan: (1) meningkatkan motivasi siswa, (2) menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang menarik, (3) menyediakan media pembelajaran yang variatif, (4) memperbaiki sarana dan prasarana sekolah, dan (5) memberikan dukungan dari pihak sekolah dan keluarga.
