Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) pangan di wilayah pedesaan memiliki peran penting dalam memperkuat ekonomi lokal, menciptakan lapangan kerja, serta mendukung ketahanan pangan masyarakat. Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh UMKM pangan adalah rendahnya kualitas produk akibat belum optimalnya penerapan prinsip Cara Produksi Pangan Olahan yang Baik (CPPOB), khususnya dalam aspek sanitasi, kebersihan lingkungan produksi, dan pengemasan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk UMKM pangan yang dikelola oleh perempuan di Desa Cijambu, Kecamatan Tanjungsari, Kabupaten Sumedang melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan teknis berbasis CPPOB. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif, yang mencakup tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, penyuluhan dan edukasi mengenai prinsip-prinsip CPPOB, praktik penerapan secara langsung di lokasi produksi, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi hasil. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terhadap praktik produksi yang baik. Sebagian besar peserta telah memahami prinsip sanitasi, penggunaan alat pelindung diri, dan pengemasan yang lebih baik. Selain itu, tingkat partisipasi peserta dalam seluruh rangkaian kegiatan juga tergolong sangat tinggi, hal ini menunjukkan antusiasme dan kesadaran pelaku UMKM terhadap pentingnya peningkatan mutu produk. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku UMKM dalam menghasilkan produk pangan yang higienis, aman, dan layak pasar.

Abstract

Coffee is an agricultural commodity with high economic value and promising business opportunities, driven by the increasing demand and interest of consumers. One area with significant potential for coffee development is Gunung Geulis, where forest land has been converted into coffee plantations using an agroforestry system. This system is expected to maintain the ecological functions of the area, particularly hydrological services, while also providing economic benefits for the surrounding community. This study aims to examine the implementation process of coffee agroforestry farming in the Gunung Geulis area and determine its sustainability status. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The analysis was conducted using the MDS-Rapcoffe method in R software to assess the level of sustainability and identify key leverage attributes influencing it. The coffee agroforestry farming process in Gunung Geulis includes upstream subsystems, cultivation subsystems, marketing subsystems, and supporting subsystems. The results show that in Jatinangor and Cimanggung Sub-districts within the Gunung Geulis area, the sustainability values are 64,55% and 66,73% respectively, which are categorized as moderately sustainable.

Abstract

Laksana Tourism Village has the potential to become a better tourist destination. The situation shows that the management of community-based tourism villages is not good enough. This study aims to determine the level of community participation. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey techniques. The object analyzed is the community involved in tourism activities. The data analyzed are the results of interviews, questionnaires, literature studies, and field documentation. Research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with a Likert scale. The results of this study are that community participation in the Tourism Village at the planning stage is still dominated by external parties and certain groups of people, at the implementation stage it involves almost the entire community, the utilization stage of the results shows there is a clear profit sharing but not yet transparent report, and at the evaluation stage there is no continuous evaluation.

Abstract

Agricultural extension workers are required to keep up with the times in carrying out their role as a bridge of information for farm business actors. The imbalance between the number of extension workers and the fostered villages makes the extension workers work around it by utilizing the use of the internet for effective and efficient extension. As well as the occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic has made extension workers accustomed to conducting counseling and providing material using an online meeting platform that is still carried over today because of its ease of reaching farmers. This study aims to describe how the level of internet usage has been applied by extension workers and analyze what factors are related to the level of internet usage. This research was conducted in agricultural extension centers in Bandung Regency. The variables used were characteristics, level of internet usage, information needs, and frequently used sites. The research design used was descriptive quantitative with non-parametric rank spearman correlation analysis tool and sampling technique using Roscoe method. The level of internet usage seen from the frequency of use in one working week is high with a percentage of 62.5% using the internet more than 4-5 working days in one week, while when the duration of internet usage it is still relatively low with a majority of 65% using the internet 2-3 hours per working day. Factors associated with internet use are characteristics of extension workers (education) and sites or applications that are frequently used (Ministry of Agriculture website and Whatsapp).

Abstract

The increasing number of human population encourages the fulfillment of food security and can be supported by the application of green sustainable agriculture. One way of implementing green sustainable agriculture is by using liquid organic fertilizer. However, the use of organic fertilizers are still not massive and the sales are relatively low. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the purchase of Jimmy Hantu liquid organic fertilizer at Bintang Tani Abadi (BTA) store Serang City. This study used quantitative methods with an explanatory survey that took data from 65 respondents. Data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis and SEM-PLS. The result showed that cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors had positive relationship to purchasing decision. However, product attributes do not have a positive relationship with purchase decision of JH-LOF at BTA store Serang City.

Abstract

Potatoes are one of the alternative carbohydrate sources to replace rice and have a high economic value. According to Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) in 2023, Indonesia's potato production increased by 4.21 percent from 1.36 million tons to 1.42 million tons. CV. Bumi Agro Technology (CV. BAT) is one of the agribusiness companies which producing potato seeds that affected by the increasing in national potato production. CV. BAT endeavors to extend the cultivation of potato plants land in vegetable fields – in this case, pakcoy plants. The method used in this research employs a qualitative design with a case study approach at CV Bumi Agro Technology. Data were obtained through observation and interviews. This study utilizes Revenue Analysis, Cost Analysis, Income Analysis, Financial Feasibility Analysis RC Ratio, BC Ratio NPV, IRR, Payback of Period, and Profitability Index. The results of this study conclude that potato seed farming and pakcoy cultivation are financially feasible. However, potato seed farming is more financially feasible compared to pakcoy cultivation. CV BAT needs to prioritize potato commodities at the moment, with the note that they should save expenses, especially when purchasing potato seeds and farm consumables.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how consumers perception the aspect of marketing mix in UMKM Lupba products. This study was conducted from January to February 2024. The data used in this study were primary data obtained from interviews with consumers using questionnaires to 100 respondents and secondary data obtained from internets using Google Scholar. The results show that consumers' perception of the mixed aspects of product marketing in UMKM Lupba products is very high and the mix of marketing prices, places, and locations in UMKM Lupba products is high.

Abstract

Law 16/2006 regulates agricultural development and agricultural extension processes. Bandung Regency is one of the regions with great agricultural potential. There are 160 agricultural extension workers in Bandung Regency helping an average of 2-3 villages. In fact, in the Law on the Protection of Farmers' Rights No. 19/2013, the extension officer in charge of the assisted community. In the performance report of the Bandung Regency Agriculture Office (2021), it was stated that the target does not match the actual performance of the land. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the professional achievements of media workers in the Bandung region. This research was conducted in several agricultural extension areas in Bandung Regency. The methodology used was a survey with a descriptive quantitative research design. The research used is an analysis of the performance level of agricultural extension workers using a calculator based on the Order Number of the Ministry of Agriculture: 91/Permentan/OT.140/9/2013 and Kendall tau correlation analysis. Based on the evaluation of the performance level, agricultural extension workers in Bandung Regency are in the good sector with an average score of 80.125 and 7 extension workers have performance standards in the good sector and 33 extension workers in the category of good performance value. Based on Kendall Tau correlation analysis, it is known that the factors related to the efficiency level of agricultural extension workers in Bandung Regency are working hours, motivation of extension workers, management support, and availability of resources and equipment. extension project management, communication skills and teamwork skills.

Abstract

The coffee business sector is now experiencing a significant increase in Bandung City. This increase cannot be separated from the increasing intersert and consumption of coffee among Indonesians. Coffee consumption in Indonesia has increased rapidly in recent years. This is driven by various factors such as lifestyle changes, the growth of the middle class and the increasing popularity of coffee shops as places to gather and socialize. One of the main strategies to deal with increasingly fierce business need to make various efforts to identify consumer preferences ranging from the desired quality and flavour of coffee to convenience and griendly effiecient service. One of the coffee business in Bandung is Lotu Coffee and Eatery. Consumer expectations and satisfaction are measured using Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Consumer satisfaction can lead to consumer loyalty to the products sold, therefore consumer loyalty in this study is measured using the Customer Loyalty Index (CLI). Data collection was carried out by distributing 100 questionnaires and showed that consumers were very satisfied and had a high level of loyalty.

Abstract

Instagram is now used as a marketing communications medium by MSMEs, including Al-Waliy Honey Gummy, which previously only went by word of mouth marketing and was still not widely known to the public. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Instagram advertisement video created by Al-Waliy Honey Gummy MSME using the AIDA Model approach. The research design uses descriptive quantitative design with survey and interview techniques. A sample size of 103 was drawn through purposive sampling with the criteria being active users of Instagram and have watched Al-Waliy Honey Gummy advertising video on Instagram. The findings indicate that the Al-Waliy Honey Gummy advertisment is considered effective, with scores of 3,99 for attention, 4,30 for interest, 4,06 for desire, and 4,12 for action (out of 5). The study suggests a need to enhance the quality of advertisement content to elevate effectiveness from effective to very effective and become more active in promoting the products by optimizing Instagram’s features.Keywords: advertisement effectiveness, AIDA Model, Al-Waliy Honey Gummy, Instagram
