Abstract

ABSTRAKKampung Batu Malakasari memiliki keunikan yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi kawasan agrowisata besar di Kabupaten Bandung. Namun keunikan tersebut belum sepenuhnya dikembangkan dan belum banyak diketahui oleh masyarakat luas khususnya luar Jawa Barat. Maka dari itu diperlukan pengembangan baik dalam sarana dan prasarana untuk memenuhi kebutuhan wisatawan yang dalam prosesnya melibatkan masyarakat Desa Malakasari. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mengetahui keragaan dan dampak Kampung Batu Malakasari. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kampung Batu Malakasari. Informan dalam penelitian ini Perangkat Desa Malakasari, General Manager Kampung Batu, Pegawai Kampung Batu, Seketaris RW, Ketua RT dan warga. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya Kampung Batu sebagai kawasan agrowisata membawa perubahan pada masyarakat Desa Malakasari. Dampak positif yang ditimbulkan antara lain perluasan lapangan pekerjaan, peningkatan pendapatan, penetapan harga, pendapatan desa, kebisingan, interaksi antara masyarakat lokal dengan wisatawan, peningkatan intensitas gotong royong dan limbah agrowisata. Dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan adalah terjadinya kecemburuan sosial di masyarakat.Kata kunci : agrowisata, dampak sosial, ekonomi, budayaABSTRACTKampung Batu Malakasari has a uniqueness that can potentially be developed into great agrowisata in Bandung Regency. But uniqueness is not yet fully developed and is not yet well known by the public at large particularly outside Java. Therefore, required the development both in facilities and infrastructure to meet the needs of travellers in the process involving the community the village Malakasari. The goal of the research is to find out the keragaan and the impact of Kampung Batu Malakasari. Design research is qualitative research methods with case studies. This research was conducted in Kampung Batu Malakasari. Informants in this study of the device of the village Malakasari, General Manager of Kampung Baru, Kampung Batu Employees, Seketaris RW, Chairman of the RT and residents. Results of the study showed that the presence of Kampung Batu as agrowisata brings the changes to the Malakasari village community. Positive impact caused include the expansion of employment, income generation, pricing, income of the village, the noise, the interaction between local communities with tourists, increased the intensity of the mutual and waste agro tourism. The negative effects inflicted is the occurrence of social jealousy in the community.Keywords : agro-tourism, social, economic, culture impact

Abstract

Jajar legowo 2:1 planting system is an innovation in rice plants that can increase rice crop productivity by increasing plant population by adjusting plant spacing. The dissemination of these innovations has been done a lot through government programs, but in the last five years rice productivity in Purwakarta Regency is still low and the application of the innovation of jajar legowo 2:1 planting is still low. This study aims to determine the level of adoption of the jajar legowo 2:1 planting innovation in Purwakarta Regency. This study uses quantitative design with survey methods. The number of respondents was 130 people taken through a propotional random sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed tha the adoption rate of farmers to the innovation of jajar legowo 2:1 in Purwakarta Regency at the knowledge stage was 63.1% (high), the persuasion stage 58.8% (moderate), the decision making stage 85.4% (very high), the implementation phase was 43.8% (moderate), and the confirmation stage was 64.1% (high).

Abstract

Agricultural extension agents have a strategic role in helping farmers to increase their farming. The role of agricultural extension agents includes fostering farmers in managing their farms effectively and efficiently so that they can increase farmers' income. Nunuk Baru Village is one of the corn commodity development areas that has received more attention in agricultural extension activities because of its potential productivity and planting area for corn. This study aims to identify the role of agricultural instructors for maize farmers and to analyze the influence of the role of agricultural instructors on the income level of maize farmers. The research design used is a quantitative approach with a survey method. The respondents of this research were 80 corn farmers. Methods of data analysis in this study using descriptive analysis using a sematic differential scale and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the role of agricultural extension agents in Nunuk Baru Village, Maja District, Majalengka Regency is categorized as very good in their role as a catalyst, communicator, consultant and organizer while as a motivator, educator and facilitator are categorized as good. The role of agricultural extension agents has no significant effect on the income of maize farmers in Nunuk Baru Village.

Abstract

Society-owned enterprises (BUMR) Food offer partnership patterns with farmers to overcome the classic problems faced by farmers so far, namely the low capital, access to sources of capital, access to technology, and market penetration. The partnership pattern offered by BUMR Food is in the form of non-collateral loan assistance accompanied by assistance and providing agricultural insurance to farmers. Farmers are required to plant rice using varieties determined by the BUMR Food and sell their grain to BUMR Food at a price determined based on the quality of grain produced by farmers. Farmers' decision to establish a partnership with BUMR Food is greatly influenced by their perception of the partnership pattern. The purpose of this study is to: (1) identify the pattern of partnership of paddy rice farmers with BUMR Food, and (2) analyze the perception of paddy rice farmers to the pattern of partnership with BUMR Food. The research method used was a survey, with a population of all paddy rice farmers who followed the pattern of collaboration with the BUMR Food in Sukabumi Regency. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling. The first research objective was analyzed descriptively, while the second research objective was analyzed using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results show: (1) The partnership pattern in the form of Agribusiness Operational Cooperation, where the partner company (BUMR Food) provides non-collateral loans, provides technical assistance in cultivation, and acts as an offtaker (receives the results of production), and (2) the perception of farmers lowland rice to the partnership pattern with BUMR Food is generally positive both in terms of relative profitability, suitability and complexity.

Abstract

The impact of the pandemic has reduced the amount of food consumption expenditure for poor families due to declining incomes and delays in government social protection. Poor families are threatened with food insecurity, because their access to food becomes limited when cash availability decreases. This study aims to analyze the causes and factors of poor families becoming more food insecure and to find out how poor families manage their food expenditure during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research design was carried out using a system thinking approach. The analysis of the system uses content analysis based on the system archetype. The validation stage of the system structure uses triangulation techniques based on data collection and the PRA approach through the trend change chart technique. The results show that food insecurity for poor families occurs due to the impact of the pandemic which causes access to food for poor families to be increasingly limited, which is characterized by decreased food consumption in terms of quantity and quality. The main factor that influences it is the level of income. The strategy to maintain their family's food consumption needs is to apply for a loan and switch to cheap food sources so that food quality does not decrease as much as the food consumption budget.

Abstract

Tingginya tingkat konsumsi kopi yang ada di Indonesia membuat peluang bagi banyak pelaku usaha kedai kopi untuk mengembangkan usahanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana sikap dan perilaku konsumen terhadap pembelian kopi yang mereka lakukan di Armor Kopi Garden, Bandung. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah theory of reasoned action dari Fishbein yang terdiri dari sikap dan perilaku konsumen dengan sampel sebanyak 95 orang. Atribut yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rasa, variasi menu, desain produk, layanan pelengkap, harga, dan promosi. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa konsumen yang datang rata-rata adalah laki-laki berstatus mahasiswa/i. Alasan mereka datang ke kedai kopi yang paling dominan adalah karena suasana yang nyaman (44%), kemudian keinginan untuk sekedar mencoba (22%) lalu karena faktor rasanya yang khas (10%) dan berbagai alasan lainnya (22%). Sikap konsumen terhadap pembelian produk kopi secara keseluruhan menunjukan hasil yang baik. Sikap yang dianggap paling baik ada pada atribut desain produk dan yang dianggap paling tidak baik ada pada atribut promosi. Hasil analisis perilaku konsumen di Armor Kopi Garden berdasarkan angka skor rata-rata menunjukan bahwa yang berperan paling dominan dalam membuat keputusan konsumen adalah teman dan media sedangkan skor yang terendah ada pada keluarga. Potensi yang dimiliki antara lain produk yang beragam, fasilitas yang lengkap, serta barista yang handal. Kedala yang dimiliki dalam menjalankan usaha adalah adalah adanya competitor yaitu Armor Kopi Tahura yang menyebabkan pengunjung terbagi-bagi.

Abstract

Kawasan waduk merupakan perpaduan daerah dataran tinggi dan perairan. Kegiatan wisata di kawasan waduk adalah bagian dari ekowisata yang mengetengahkan keindahan alam, aktivitas, dan atraksi tertentu sebagai daya tariknya. Penelitian ini  bertujuan  untuk mengidentifikasi  potensi ekowisata Waduk Jatigede  dan rencana pengelolaan ekowisata waduk Jatigede berbasis sumberdaya lokal. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian adalah di Kecamatan Wado, Darmaraja, dan Jatigede. Informan penelitian adalah anggota masyarakat dan stakeholder di tingkat desa dan kecamatan. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa Waduk Jatigede Sumedang memiliki  sumberdaya lokal  yang potensial untuk dikembangkan sebagai ekowisata. Beberapa  atraksi wisata, diantaranya wisata tirta, wana wisata, wisata seni budaya, agrowisata, wisata olahraga, bumi perkemahan dan wisata ziarah. Sebagai implikasinya, diperlukan kebijakan pengembangan ekowisata  berbasis sumberdaya lokal. Penulis mendorong keterlibatan masyarakat secara penuh dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaanya  ekowisata tersebut agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan budaya masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Stevia adalah sejenis tanaman perdu yang bisa dijadikan sebagai pemanis pengganti pemanis dari gula tebu. Kandungan kalori pada pemanis dari stevia adalah nol, sehingga bagus dikonsumsi oleh penderita diabetes. Penggunaan pemanis dari stevia bisasanya pada makanan, minuman, serta obat-obatan. Usahatani stevia di Desa Mekarsari sudah kurang lebih satu tahun dilakukan dengan kerjasama bersama dua perusahaan, yaitu PT Tokinoto Utama yang adalah eksportir dan PT Agrojabar yang mengolah stevia menjadi stevia cair dan menjual stevia olahan ke perusahaan lain. Tim perusahan dari Jepang mengatakan bahwa kualitas tanaman stevia di Desa Mekarsari Kecamatan Cikajang ini merupakan salah satu kualitas terbaik di dunia. Saat ini sudah ada 6 petani penggarap dan 30 buruh tani yang terlibat dalamusahatani stevia. Sejak awal tahun 2018, pembukaan lahan Pamegatan yang sebelumnya dikuasai masyarakat sedang diusahakan untuk dibuka sebesar 100 hektar yang akan dimanfaatkan untuk perluasan stevia di Desa Mekarsari. Usaha perluasan itu nantinya akan dilakukan kerjasama dengan petani penggarap dan buruh tani di Desa Mekarsari. Penelitian ini akan melihat karakteristik petani, bagaimana persepsi petani di Desa Mekarsari, serta usahatani stevia selama satu tahun agar nantinya bisa diketahui apakah usahatani stevia di Desa Mekarsari baik atau dan apakah usahatani stevia lebih baik dilanjutkan atau tidak jika dilihat dari persepsi petani penggarap dan buruh tani. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode statistika deskriptif dengan alat bantu analisis nilai rataan skor yang dipresentasikan dengan tabulasi silang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa usahatani stevia sudah menguntungkan selama satu tahun, serta persepsi petani di Desa Mekarsari mayoritas baik terhadap usahatani stevia dilihat dari semua karakteristik petani.

Abstract

The quality of potato seeds is important to support increased production. The majority of farmers do not certify potato seeds, which can result in various risks for potato seed production activities. This research aims to identify the risks of potato seed production and formulate risk control strategies for potato seeds production. The research uses house of risk method. The results of this study show thirty-nine identified risk events. The most impactful risk event was rotten potato. Thirty-two identified risk agents with two priorities must be handled first. The most effective ways in handling strategy are training, the certification of potato seed breeder farmers, potato seed certification, as well as purchasing breeder seeds from vegetable crop research center and from other seed breeders. This research suggests the needs to produce quality potato seeds by certifying potato seed and to update the competency certification of potato seed breeders.

Abstract

Sabila Farm is a plantation that plants various commodities, and dragon fruit is its superior commodity. But its production and productivity are declining. The purpose of this study is to determine its agribusiness performance, identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of business and determine agribusiness development strategies that are appropriate to its condition. This research is conducted through qualitative approach with case study method. Data collection techniques or information by means of participatory observation, in-depth interviews and literature studies. Informants that are being interviewed are the owner and staffs of Sabila Farm. All the data obtained from research are analyzed with SWOT and fishbone analysis. The result of this research is that Sabila Farm has managed its farming business quite well, although there are several obstacles that have caused the lower production and productivity, such as climate condition, lack of labour especially due to Covid-19 pandemic, and its traditional technology. Therefore, Sabila has to increase its labour and develop its technology. Sabila Farm adalah perkebunan yang mengusahakan berbagai komoditas, dimana buah Naga adalah komoditas unggulnya. Akan tetapi, produksi dan produktivitasnya semakin menurun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keragaan agribisnis di Sabila Farm Yogyakarta, mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman usaha dan menentukan strategi pengembangan agribisnis yang sesuai dengan keadaan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, karena seluruh subsistem agribisnis akan diteliti secara mendalam. Teknik pengumpulan data atau informasi secara observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dan studi literatur. Informan dalam wawancara yang dilakukan yaitu owner dan pegawai Sabila Farm. Seluruh data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan SWOT dan analisis fishbone. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Sabila Farm sudah mengelola usaha taninya dengan cukup baik, walaupun ada beberapa kendala yang menyebabkan semakin rendahnya produksi dan produktivitas, seperti kondisi iklim, kurangnya tenaga kerja karena kondisi pandemi, dan masih sederhananya teknologi. Karena itu, Sabila sebaiknya menambah SDM dan mengembangkan teknologi budidayanya.
