Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada stakeholder koperasi agribisnis mengenai pentingnya penerapan kewirausahaan dalam manajemen dan pengembangan usaha koperasi. Lokasi Penelitian ditentukan secara purposive, yaitu di Koperasi Mitra Tani Parahyangan. Analisis yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, untuk mengetahui gambaran detail dan mendalam tentang penerapan kewirausahaan dalam koperasi Mitra Tani Parahyangan.Jiwa Kewirausahaan menjadi suatu hal yang harus dimiliki oleh pelaku bisnis pertanian (Agribisnis), Sifat dan watak seorang agripreneurship adalah memiliki kemauan keras, berani mengambil risiko, jeli dalam melihat peluang usaha yang memiliki prospek yang cerah, senantiasa memperkuat jaringan usaha, memiliki semangat untuk selalu meningkatkan kualitas produk bagi kepuasan konsumen, memiliki cara pandang positif terhadap suatu keadaan dan memiliki sifat kepemimpinan.Koperasi Mitra Tani Parahyangan memiliki Unit Usaha Otonom Hortikultura, Tanaman Pangan, Simpan Pinjam dan Sarana Produksi. Dalam aspek pelayanannya, koperasi Mitra Tani Parahyangan memberikan pelayanan dalam hal on farm, penyediaan sarana produksi (hulu), Pasca panen dan pemasaran (hilir) dan juga penunjang. Kata kunci : Kewirausahaan, Koperasi, usaha bersama, agribisni, Bisnis. ABSTRACTThe purpose of the study was to provide insight to stakeholders about the application of cooperative-preneurship in the cooperative management. Research location determined purposively. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach  with a  case study techniques, to find out the details and in-depth overview of the application of entrepreneurship within the cooperative Mitra Tani Parahyangan .Entrepreneurship becomes a thing to be possessed by agricultural business , The nature and character of a agripreneurship is risk-taking , keen in seeing a business opportunity that has a promising future , constantly strengthen business networks , have a passion for always improve product quality for customer satisfaction , have a positive outlook on the situation and has leadership qualities.Mitra Tani Parahyangan have Horticulture Business Unit, Plant Food , Savings, Loans and means of production . In the services aspect , Mitra Tani Parahyangan providing service in terms of on-farm , providing the means of production ( upstream ) , Post- harvest and marketing ( downstream ) and also supporting .Keyword : entrepreneurship, agribusiness, cooperative, cooperative-preneurship

Abstract

Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga petani adalah dengan meningkatkan nilai tambah produk sayuran organic. Jika harga sayuran organic segar dirasakan kurang menguntungkan, maka dengan pengolahan sayuran organic menjadi aneka jenis makanan seperti nugget sayuran dapat menjadi peluang bisnis baru yang berpotensi meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan di salah satu lokasi penelitian Hibah Riset Fundamental Unpad (RFU) yaitu di Desa Cibodas Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat, dengan kelompok sasaran Kelompok Tani Mekar Tani Jaya.Peserta kegiatan PKM adalah anggota Kelompok Tani Mekar Tani Jaya sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil kegiatan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan kognitif dan psikomotorik sekitar 90% pada peserta terkait pembuatan nugget sayur serta peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dan psikomotorik sebesar 80%, terkait membangun manajemen bisnis nugget sayur skala rumah tangga agar menguntungkan. Dari hasil kegiatan juga tersusun Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUB) yang diharapkan akan merintis usaha nugget sayur organic di Desa Cibodas, sehingga pendapatan petani diharapkan bisa bertambah.

Abstract

Meningkatnya permintaan sayuran organik di Indonesia menunjukkan peluang bisnis sayuran organik masih terbuka lebar. Namun kenyataannya, jumlah petani yang mengusahakan sayuran organik sangat terbatas. Hal inilah yang menjadi dasar pemikiran mengenai keberlanjutan praktik pertanian sayuran organik di Kecamatan Parongpong Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keberlanjutan usahatani sayuran organik di Kecamatan Parongpong Kabupaten Bandung Barat ditinjau dari dimensi ekologi, ekonomi, sosial, teknologi dan isnfrastruktur serta kelembagaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh petani sayuran organik di Kecamatan Parongpong yang berjumlah 8 orang. Data dianalisis untuk mengukur status keberlanjutan menggunakan multidimensional scalling (MDS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dimensi ekologi, dimensi ekonomi, dimensi teknologi dan infrastruktur serta dimensi kelembagaan berstatus berkelanjutan; sedangkan dimensi sosial berstatus kurang berkelanjutan. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan dalam pengembangan usahatani sayuran organik, petani membutuhkan dukungan dari lembaga pertanian terutama lembaga penyuluhan dan pemasaran hasil pertanian.

Abstract

Pasar bebas MEA merupakan peluang yang perlu ditangkap oleh berbagai pelaku usaha agribisnis. Termasuk aribisnis sayuran organic yang saat ini sedang berkembang pesat dengan demand yang cukup besar. Untuk itu Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) menjadi salahsatu komponen yang harus dipersiapkan untuk mendukung pasar bebas MEA. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk membahas penerapan TIK dalam agribisnis sayuran organic, kendala yang dihadapi beserta strategi perbaikan untuk meningkatkan  daya saing dalam menghadapi perdagangan bebas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kelompok Tani Semai Organik yang mengusahakan agribisnis sayuran organic, berlokasi di Desa Pada Asih Kecamatan Parompong Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Dengan informan  pengurus dan anggota poktan sebanyak 10 orang.  Desa Pada Asih sendiri saat ini terpilih menjadi salah satu Desa Organik di Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif. Analisis strategi perbaikan dalam penerapan TIK menggunakan system thinking dengan alat analisis Causal Loop Diagram. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat beberapa kendala dalam penerapan TIK di Kelompok Tani Semai Organik, diantaranya dibagi atas kendala budaya, fasilitas dan keterampilan. Strategi perbaikan penerapan TIK yang  tepat bagi Kelompok Tani Semai Organik dalam menghadapi pasar bebas MEA diantaranya adalah: Integrasi pemanfaatan TIK dengan program Desa Organic, pemberian subsidi sarana prasarana TIK dari program Desa Organik; sosialisasi penyuluhan berbasis internet (cyberextension); serta focus utama pada peningkatan kompetensi pengurus dalam memanfaatkan TIK. Diharapkan dengan pemanfaatan TIK yang lebih baik, Poktan Semai Organik dapat eksis langsung ke pasar MEA.

Abstract

Increased demand for organic vegetables in Indonesia proves that business opportunities of organic vegetables are still wide. However, the number of farmers who cultivate organic vegetables is very limited. This is the basis of thinking about the sustainability of organic vegetable farming practices in Cisarua Subdistrict of West Bandung Regency. This research aimed to analyze the sustainability of organic vegetable farming in Cisarua Subdistrict, in terms of ecological, economic, social, technology and infrastructure, and institutional dimensions. This research was a qualitative research. Respondents in this study were all organic vegetable farmers in Cisarua Subdistrict that required 8 people. The data were analyzed to measure the sustainability status by using multidimensional scaling (MDS) analysis. The results showed that the ecological, economic, technology and infrastructure, and institutional dimensions had sustainable status, while that of the social dimension less sustainable. These results indicate that in the development of organic vegetable farming, farmers need support from agricultural extension institution association, and marketing of agricultural products.

Abstract

The study, entitled "Gender Analysis in Families Life Fishermen in Pangandaran Ciamis district" was conducted over eight months. The purpose of this study was to: 1) Assess the socio-economic characteristics of fishermen families in the District of Pangandaran Ciamis district.; 2) analyze the pattern of decision-making and the division of labor between husband and wife in a family of fishermen in the domestic sector and the public. This study uses survey method. The respondents consisted of 30 families of fishermen. Data were analyzed descriptively to create a systematic picture, factual and accurate statement of the facts, properties and relationships studied phenomenon objectively. The results showed that the level of education the majority of families of fishermen included in the low category. Perceptions of gender on family fishing generally illustrates that the main task the wife is the household, but it may help her husband in making a living family, while earning a living primary responsibility remains the task of the husband. Decision-making concerning the domestic activities and the public in a family of fishermen do not follow a particular pattern is specifically focused on the husband or wife, but it has a pattern that spreads between husband and wife. The task sharing concerning the domestic activities mostly done by the wife. While the division of labor associated with public activities spread between husband and wife. Abstract

One of the efforts taken to improve agriculture human resources especially farmers, is through agricultural extension activities. The purpose of agricultural extension is to create a competent farm community that is able to create a strong business, with better farming, better business, better living and better enviroment. To realize all that would be required special education efforts through the development of national agricultural extension system that is able to help farmers and other agricultural businesses to improve their livelihoods and improve their welfare.This study aims to examine how the effectiveness of agricultural extension in general is happening in the District Sindangkasih post autonomy, as well as examine the extent of the impact of agricultural extension activities undertaken to contribute to the socio-economic conditions of farmers.This research was conducted in the District Sindangkasih. This district is one of the districts with a large number of people working in the agricultural sector.This study uses a case study to obtain in-depth pattern of the object under study, with the approach of the PRA (Participatory Rural Apprisal) and FGD (Focus Grouf Discussiaon). The informants in this study is agricultural extension, related agencies and authorities, as well as farmers, who know for certain activities in Kec.Sindangkasih counseling. The draft analysis of the data used to answer the research question in this study is to use qualitative descriptive analysis method, by adopting the Kirkpatrick model of evaluation.Based on the calculation Effectiveness of Agricultural Extension in Sub Sindangkasih obtained a score of 77.48%, which is classified in the category of a very good level of effectiveness. The positive impact is felt farmers with agricultural extension include the improvement of knowledge, skills and mindset, particularly related legowo planting system. Abstract

The purpose of this study were to: 1) analyze the role of gender differences in the response of consumers as well as eco-friendly behavior; 2) Develop a model of eco-friendly education to encourage changes in society behavior. This research was conducted  by survey techniques. Respondents in this study were consumers who shop through the 'Small Market' which numbered 60 people. Descriptive analysis and t test  are used to answer the purposes of this study. The results showed a significant difference between men and women  in collective values, affective response, conative response and eco friendly behavior.To construct  eco friendly behavior  requires the responsibilities of all parties. , Governments, producers, consumers, educational institutions and the media have their respective roles to be able to raise awareness of eco friendly behavior.

Abstract

Mango Gedong Gincu (Mangifere var.Gedong indica) is one type of mango that is cultivated in West Java, particularly in Cirebon. Today the demand for mango Gedong Gincu from overseas customers is quite high. To achieve high competitiveness, especially in the face of free trade the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) by Farmers Group will be vital.The specific objective of this research to see ICT used by the groups, and to analyze the obstacles encountered in the use of ICTs in the era of free trade. The study was conducted in Kab.Cirebon. With Qualitative research design and use System thinking with causal loop diagram analysis tools.The results showed that the use of ICT farmer groups are radio, television, computer, mobile phone, tabloid / newsletter, leaflet, fax and internet. Constraints application of ICT in Suka Mulya Farmer Group is divided on the environmental constraints, constraints skills, and particularly cultural constraints. Variable levers major obstacles to the implementation of ICT is lack of motivation of farmers to try ICT. Persuasive approach from the government, the agent and other components involved is expected to change the paradigm of farmers more aware of the benefits of ICT.

Abstract

Indonesia's agricultural sector is still faced with a variety of problems, especially with regard to the low interest of youth to work in the agricultural sector. Total population aged 15 years and over who worked in the field of business in agriculture, plantation, forestry, and hunting in February 2013 amounted to 3,642,008 people, or 19.61% of the entire working population. This value certainly is not comparable if we see that our country is an agricultural country where agriculture is a major sector in Indonesia. In fact, to achieve better agricultural conditions required the participation of the younger generation as the successor to the farmer. The process of succession in agribusiness is very important to note.The purpose of this study to analyze the process of succession in agribusiness chili in Taraju, see the changes that occurred after reviewing succession and empowerment-based entrepreneurship which is believed to support the success of the process of succession in the agri-horticulture. This study will be conducted in the District. Taraju, Kab.Tasikmalaya using qualitative design and engineering case studies. Soft Systems Approach Methodhology (SSM) will be used to design an appropriate model. The results showed that the succession managed to farmers with large-scale enterprises because generally they have planned succession process, but on a small scale farmers they do not prepare the succession process. Agribusiness chili after a succession of changes to the packaging and marketing. Empowerment needs to be given to the first generation to be able to design a succession process as early as possible, while at empowering the next generation should be given to improving the business life, as well as generate interest in youth to businesses in the agricultural sector.
