Abstract

This study examines the legacy of Sunan Muria's thoughts on conserving water sourced from the sign and symbol around the graves The existence of water plays an important role in the religious studies. Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism and Buddhism use water as an important component in every religious ritual. Therefore, one of the contemporary issues in Islamic studies that has attracted the attention of scholars is water conservation. Based on initial observations, researchers found a water jar that is sacred by the local community. Social, religious, and cultural narratives about sacred concepts are the main points of this research. In addition, based on extensive field research, various interviews and literature studies on related topics, the researcher explores the complexity of the heritage of water conservation thought in Sunan Muria's perspective through the identification of signs and symbols on their tombs from the concepts of eco-theology; bi'ah al-hudry.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze illustrations and mapping of material and illustration pictures of the Book Teaching of Fiqih, Al-Qur'an Hadith and Akidah Akhlak in class X MA 2013 curriculum in a gender perspective. The analysis uses two aspects: Macro aspects with an indicator of Marginalization, Subordination, Stereotype, Double Burden and Violence and Micro aspects with an indicator of Access, Participation, Control and Benefits. The results of the study show that, the illustrations in the three textbooks based on the macro and micro aspects provide space restrictions for women. The mapping of the tendency is still dominated by men, but on the other hand, the position of women and the rubrics that display both get a fairly high percentage

Abstract

Munculnya era baru yaitu era industri 4.0 menjadi tantangan dan peluang dalam segala aspek kehidupan dan termasuk di dalamnya yaitu dunia pendidikan. Saat ini buku yang terbesar peredarannya masih didominasi oleh buku cetak, hal ini tentu menjadi peluang untuk memunculkan buku non cetak sebagai solusi menghadai era revolusi industri 4.0. Salah satu buku non cetak yang bisa dibuat yaitu bahan cetak berbasis aplikasi Android. Sebagai matakuliah yang wajib diambil oleh mahasiswa Jurusan Sastra Arab, Universitas Negeri Malang, yaitu Tarkib Mukatstsaf Ibtida’i. Seiring munculnya era revolusi industri 4.0 perlu adanya terobosan baru dalam matakuliah ini. Orientasi penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan desain bahan ajar Tarkib Mukatstsaf Ibtida’i berbasis android. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa analisis Rencana Perkuliahan Semester (RPS) yang berupa penyusunan materi bahan ajar yaitu aplikasi android dan desain bahan ajar yang terdiri dari 14 materi yang telah dibahas. Abstract

Tulisan ini mencoba menjelaskan program edukasi sekolah berbasis peace education (PE) yang diprakarsai oleh tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat Universitas Negeri Malang dengan mitra majelis Musyawarah Kerja Kepala Sekolah (MKKS) Sub Rayon 33 Wagir Kabupaten Malang. Secara rinci, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang bertujuan menanamkan nilai-nilai perdamaian dan semangat hidup berdampingan antar umat beragama, khususnya diantara sekolah yang beragam corak keagamaanya di Kecamatan Wagir. Program edukasi berbasis PE dilaksanakan melalui rangkaian kegiatan seminar, focus group discussion (FGD), hingga pelaksanaan langsung kepada siswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Program ini dilakukan dalam dua sesi utama, yakni kegiatan seminar dengan pembahasan tentang moderasi beragama dan FGD dengan fokus pada implementasinya. Dari kegiatan ini, dihasilkan sejumlah poin penting yang dapat dilakukan di sekolah dan kelas yakni membangun atmosfer atau budaya sekolah yang mendukung dengan mengapresiasi budaya yang berbeda, melakukan resolusi konflik, mendorong  partisipasi aktif dan kolaboratif, membangun sikap toleransi, dan membuat nilai-nilai agama menjadi pegangan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa dalam menjalankan tugas di sekolah.

Abstract

Health is one of the factors that make progress in an area. Handling a health problem in the form of basic health services in each area, as implemented in the Tanggaran village, is one of the village government's actualizations and responsibilities to deal with health problems, such as stunting and sanitation. This study focuses on examining basic health services in Tanggaran Village, Trenggalek Regency. Researchers used the PRA (participatory rural appraisal) method. Besides, data was obtained from a survey on community-related to basic health services with approximately 242 respondents from 3 hamlets. The survey results prove that there are still people in the Tanggaran village who have basic health services problems. The problems that occur do not only come from the village government, but people who are less aware of the importance of a healthy environment. For example, public access to information on health insurance is still limited at health service locations, minimal public service complaints, and community participation in a clean and healthy environment is still low.(Kesehatan termasuk salah satu faktor yang menjadikan kemajuan di suatu daerah. Penanganan terhadap suatu masalah kesehatan berbentuk pelayanan kesehatan dasar pada setiap daerah, seperti yang terlaksana pada Desa Tanggaran merupakan salah satu aktualisasi dan tanggung jawab pemerintah desa untuk menangani masalah kesehatan, seperti stunting dan sanitasi. Penelitian ini berfokus mengkaji tentang pelayanan kesehatan dasar di Desa Tanggaran, Kabupaten Trenggalek. Peneliti menggunakan metode PRA (participatory rural appraisal) atau pemahaman partisipasi kondisi pedesaan. Selain itu data diperoleh dari hasil survei pada layanan kesehatan dasar masyarakat dengan kurang lebih 242 responden dari 3 dusun yang dijadikan fokus. Dari hasil survei membuktikan bahwa masih ada warga masyarakat di Desa Tanggaran yang memiliki masalah layanan kesehatan dasar. Masalah yang terjadi tersebut tidak hanya berasal dari pemerintah desa, akan tetapi masyarakat yang kurang menyadari tentang pentingnya lingkungan sehat. Seperti, akses masyarakat terhadap informasi jaminan kesehatan masih terbatas di lokasi layanan kesehatan, minimnya pengaduan pelayanan publik, dan partisipasi masyarakat terhadap lingkungan hidup bersih dan sehat masih rendah).

Abstract

One of the issues which has been attracted by Muslim scholars is the religious moderation mainstreaming. Pesantren, as the oldest and indigenous educational institution in Indonesia, is inseparable from such issue. This study examines the development of moderation a basic idea of pesantren. This paper is divided into three parts. First is introducing the articulation of moderation in pesantren from various perspectives. Second is discussing the idea of Arkoun and al Jabiri’s ideas and its relation on moderation and pesantren. Third is elaborating the moderation of pesantren from its curriculum’s and extracurricular activities. This paper concerned on how Islamic moderation has shaped and disseminated through the learning process in pesantren?. Furthermore, this research was conducted at five pesantren in Kediri, East Java by considering their typologies and management. By using the interview method, literature study and in-depth observation, this research has produced data related to the research theme. Then, the results of research are to explore the complexity and continuity of Islamic moderation in pesantren and to prove that moderation mainstreaming in the grassroot is not static but flexible and dynamic as well as being fluid and multi-dimensional through the learning process and the extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Abstrak: Dinamika pendidikan Islam dan revolusi industri 4.0 seringkali dipandang sebagai masalah yang kompleks. Dengan demikian, Pendidikan Islam sebagaimana ditafsirkan oleh Az-Zarnuji melalui magnum opusnya yang berjudul Ta'lim Muta'allim dapat mewakili dimensi sakral dan dinamika Pendidikan Islam dalam konteks Revolusi Industri 4.0 dapat direpresentasikan sebagai identitas profan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara teoritis model perpaduan Pendidikan Islam antara yang profan dan yang sakral untuk menarik titik konvergen di antara keduanya. Kajian ini membahas bahwa Pendidikan Islam memiliki respon yang unik dalam menyelesaikan revolusi industri 4.0 dengan mengedepankan prinsip tarbiyah untuk mencegah “konflik” dan mengimplementasikannya dengan pendekatan interdisipliner yaitu open mindedness oleh teknologi, media dan modernitas. Studi ini juga memberikan bacaan alternatif kontekstual antara Pendidikan Islam dan Revolusi Industri 4.0.Kata kunci: pendidikan Islam, revolusi industri 4.0, sakral dan profan. Abstract: Islamic Education and the 4.0 Industrial Revolution is seemed like a complex matter. Thus, Islamic Education as interpreted by Az-Zarnuji’ideas through his magnum opus entitled Ta’lim Muta’allim could be represent the sacred dimension and the dynamic of Islamic Education in the context of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution could be represent as the identity of profane. This study uncovers the description on the integrated vision of Islamic Education between the profane and the sacred to draws the convergent point. This study focusses on the Islamic Education has a unique response in resolving the 4.0 industrial revolution by emphasizing the spirit of tarbiyah to prevent “conflicts” and optimizing through interdisciplinary approach which open mindedness by the technology, media and the modernity. This study also gives the contextual alternative reading on the intersection between Islamic Education and the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.Keywords: Islamic education, sacral, profane, revolution industry 4.0

Abstract

In the scope of higher education, one concrete example of the concept for Learning from Home (LFH) is the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) which is carried out online. Psychologically, new students have a high level of vulnerability to anxiety and worry in starting to understand the learning process in the university. Based on the fact above, the assistant designs community service activities based on mentoring to increase literacy related to campus life for new students who live in Kediri. There were 46 students participating in the activity using google meet media in its implementation. Activities are designed based on research with a focus on two things, namely 1). mapping research on barriers faced by new students; 2) mentoring new students to improve academic and non-academic literacy when entering tertiary level. The findings of mentoring activities, namely, from 46 participants, there were at least four main obstacles and challenges, namely 1) the emergence of anxiety and worry about learning patterns in tertiary institutions (27%); 2) pessimism regarding the sustainability of online learning models (19%); 3) feelings of fear and confusion in following the PKKMB material and insight into the academic / non-academic atmosphere on each campus (46%); 4) concerns about the post-Covid pandemic learning process have subsided and the implementation of offline lectures (8%).

Abstract

Tutoring is an informal activity that aims to help students to be able to solve problems of learning difficulties at school or additional learning that is tailored to the needs of students carried out by an institution/individual. Tutoring is also considered very effective because teachers in tutoring will pay attention to students' understanding and development of the subjects that have been studied. In this service, we will conduct tutoring in Sumberagung Village. This community service activity aims to help the learning process of elementary and junior high school students who have problems completing schoolwork or others. The result of this training is that the elementary and junior high school students will be skilled and accustomed to solving problems that are considered problematic in each task independently. Another result is that to introduce the potential in Sumberagung Village; it is necessary to have a media that can document the village's potential. To overcome these problems, a village profile video in this community service activity will be made, which includes the potential of the village in Sumberagung Village. The video shows the potential in Sumberagung Village, including batik, coffee and milk.

Abstract

Abstract: Intellectually disabled children have difficulty understanding abstract things such as Arabic letters. An appropriate learning media that can help them learn is significantly needed. In addition, some Intellectually disabled children can only pronounce Arabic letters but do not know the shape of the Arabic letters. In this context, ABATA media associates and equates Arabic letters with surrounding objects in their form and pronunciation so that intellectually disabled children can know the form and pronunciation of Arabic letters. This research aims to describe the ABATA media and its effectiveness. This research uses narrative review by gathering data from various sources, analyzing and designing the media. ABATA media is designed based on visual media and adopts the analogy method by equating the form of objects with Arabic letters, and the pronunciation of Arabic letters is the same as the initial syllable of objects. Based on the search for various literature sources conducted by the researchers, ABATA media is predicted to be adequate for mentally disabled children in introducing Arabic letters. This is because the visual media and analogy methods that are the basis for developing the ABATA media have proven effective and acceptable to intellectually disabled children. Therefore, ABATA media is believed to make it easier to introduce the shape and pronunciation of Arabic letters. Keywords: Arabic letters, visual media, analogy, intellectual disability. Abstrak: Anak tunagrahita mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami hal yang bersifat abstrak, seperti huruf Arab sehingga diperlukan media yang dapat mengonkretkan hal tersebut. Selain itu, terdapat anak tunagrahita yang hanya mampu melafalkan huruf Arab namun tidak mengetahui bentuk huruf Arab tersebut. Dalam konteks ini, media ABATA mengaitkan dan menyamakan huruf Arab dengan benda-benda sekitar dalam bentuk dan pengucapannya agar anak tunagrahita mampu mengetahui bentuk sekaligus pelafalan huruf Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan media ABATA dan keefektifannya secara konseptual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode narrative review dengan mencari berbagai sumber, menganalisis, dan kemudian mendesain media. Media ABATA dirancang berbasis media bergambar dan mengadopsi metode analogi dengan menyamakan bentuk benda dengan bentuk huruf Arab. Adapun pelafalan huruf Arab disamakan dengan suku awal benda. Berdasarkan penelusuran berbagai literatur yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti, media ABATA diprediksikan efektif untuk diterapkan kepada anak tunagrahita dalam mengenalkan huruf Arab. Hal ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa media bergambar dan metode analogi yang menjadi basis pengembangan media ABATA ini terbukti efektif dan mampu diterima oleh anak tunagrahita. Oleh karena itu, media ABATA diyakini mampu mempermudah dalam pengenalan bentuk sekaligus pelafalan huruf Arab. Kata kunci:  huruf Arab, media bergambar, analogi, tunagrahita
