Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability to write review texts for the short film "Lima Detik" by Ja'far Ash by grade VIII students of SMP Pancasila Pal IX Kubu Raya Regency based on aspects of structure, language, and writing of EBI. This research uses descriptive research methods with quantitative research forms. Data collection was carried out through a test of writing the review text of the short film "Five Seconds" by Ja'far Ash. The results of this study showed that the ability to write student review texts was classified into the good category, with an average score of 71,33. The ability to write review texts based on structural aspects obtained an average score of 68,75 with sufficient categories, based on linguistic aspects obtained an average score of 97,91 with very good categories, and based on the writing of EBI obtained an average score of 58,33 with sufficient category. Based on the distribution table, the percentage of the value of the ability to write review text shows the very good category (16,67%), good category (54,17%), sufficient category (16,67%), and less category (12,5%). Through this research, it is hoped that teachers can Indonesian find out the ability of students, especially in writing review texts. After knowing the abilities of students, teachers can further improve the effectiveness of learning to write review texts

Abstract

This study has a goal, namely to improve the skills of writing news texts for class VII students of SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. The method used is a class action method which is described as it is with a form of research that is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were students of class VII A, which consisted of 30 students. The data obtained is the result of the skills of writing news texts arranged by students by applying the PBL or problem-based learning model. The actions taken in this study were carried out in two cycles with two meetings per cycle. The results of the skills of writing news text using the PBL model with newspaper media in the first cycle were 76% and the average score for writing news text skills using the PBL model with YouTube media in cycle II was 83.4%. The acquisition results increased by 7.4, while the cycle I activities obtained an average score of 76%. This is show that the Problem Based Learning model can improve the news text writing skills of class VII A student of SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak it a relatively high everage.

Abstract

This research aims to classified data obtained from the field, doing a data inventory in the form of terminology, lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, and cultural meaning, as a plan of implementation in Indonesian Language learning based on traditional terminology "Raye Kubbor" in Lumbang Village society, Sambas subdistrict, Sambas district. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data source in this research was Malay Sambas society in Lumbang Village. The technique of the data collection used were interview, record, note, observation, and documentation. The data collection tools included list of questions, stationery, note sheet. Data validity techniques include diligent observation, adequacy of references, and guidance with lecturers. This research produced 42 data on terms of the Raye Kubbor tradition in the Lumbang Village society, Sambas District, Sambas Regency with details of 14 terms in the form of shape data including 11 monomorphemic data and 3 polymorphemic data; 20 data on lexical meaning including 9 data on tool and material terminology, 6 data on process terminology, 5 data on food terminology, 3 data on grammatical meaning including 1 data on material terminology, 2 data on process terminology; and 7 cultural meaning data including terminology for tools and materials, food, and processes. The form of the Indonesian language learning text is based on the terminology of the Raye Kubbor tradition in the Lumbang Village community, Sambas District, Sambas Regency, descriptive text.
