judul penelitian ini adalah kemampuan memahami unsur intrinsik cerpen siswa kelas X MAS Raudhatul Ulum. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode deskriptif dan berbentuk kuantitatif, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MAS Raudhatul Ulum. Dalam pengambilan data, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik komunikasi tidak langsung. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data kemampuan siswa memahami unsur intrinsik cerpen Robohnya Surau Kami pada siswa kelas X MAS Raudhatul Ulum disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Pertama, kemampua siswa dalam memahami aspek tema mecapai rata-rata 73,12%. Kedua, kemampuan siswa dalam memahami aspek alur mecapai rata-rata 64,34%. Ketiga, kemampuan siswa dalam memahami aspek tokok mecapai rata-rata 72,40%. Keempat, kemampua siswa dalam memahami aspek latar mecapai rata-rata 75,00%. Kelima, kemampuan siswa dalam memahami aspek amanat mencapai rata-rata 80,15%. Berdasarka hasil analisis keseluruhan maka nilai rata-rata siswa dalam memahami usur intrinsik cerpan mencapai 77,09% hal ini tergolong dalam katagori cukup. The study uses descriptive and quantiteve from, the population in this study were students of class X MAS Raudhatul Ulum in gathering data, this study uses indirect communication techniques. Based on the results of data analysis on the students ability to understand the intrinsic elements of story entirled Robohnya Surau Kami in clssa X MAS Raudhatul Ulum district summarized as follows. First, the abilit of students to understand the aspects of the theme reached an average of 73.12%, second the ability of students to understand, aspects of the plot reached an averege of 64.34%. third the ability of students to understand, aspects of the characters reached an averege of 72.40%. fourth the ability of students to understand of setting reached an average of 75.00%. fifth students ability to understand, aspects of the message reached an average of 80.15%. based on the overall analysis, the value of the average student in understanding the intrinsic elements of the story reached 77.09%. it is classified to the adequate category.
