Abstract

Learning materials have been developed in inorganic chemistry elements of transition elements have been developed online. The flow of the development model suggested by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel is 4-D (four D Models). This model consists of 4 stages of development, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate, but in this study it is limited to the develop stage. Based on the results of observations of student activities and student response questionnaires, it can be concluded that the material in the Inorganic Chemistry of the Transition Element is feasible.

Abstract

Interactive e-modules are one of the innovations of teaching materials in Society 5.0 considered innovative for learning. As innovative teaching materials interactive e-modules are recommended, it is hoped that 21st-century teachers will be able to develop their interactive e-modules that suit students’ character and the learning methods used. However, based on a survey that has been conducted, 79% of teachers still use PowerPoint (.ppt) as teaching materials. This activity was held to provide training on making interactive e-modules to the chemistry MGMP team in Gresik based on a scientific approach. This interactive e-module is equipped with teaching materials such as pictures, videos/animations, quizzes, and interactive features to attract students’ attention. The methods used in this service include coordination, interactive e-module design, instrument creation, training implementation, evaluation, management, and publication. Analysis of data obtained from training activities proves that teachers are interested in creating and using interactive e-modules for learning. The interactive e-module is considered an attractive design for learning following the era of Society 5.0.

Abstract

Abstract. The research aims to get answers to whether chemistry learning with computer-based games as learning media can create fun learning (edutainment). The study was conducted on students in three high schools in chemistry learning according to plan, during the learning activities were observed by students, before and after learning the learning outcomes tests and student questionnaires were conducted. The results showed that learning activities were 90.4% to 92.0% as expected, 90% to 100% of students stated that learning was fun with games as learning media, and learning outcomes had achieved 93% to 100% classical completeness. These results indicate that the use of computer-propelled games as chemical learning media can create chemical learning that pleases students and can be used by teachers as an alternative to edutainment chemistry learning

Abstract

This study aims to measure the eligibility of a developed learning media. The media is a student worksheet (LKPD). The LKPD being developed is LKPD with a process of science skills based on the 5E Learning Cycle in acid-base material. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research using the ADDIE model. Researchers used a validation sheet as a validation instrument. The validation was carried out by three experts in chemistry education. The validation aspects that are assessed are aspects of content, presentation, language, and graphics. Based on the research results, it shows that the validity of the developed LKPD can be criticized as "very valid" in every aspect with a proportion value of 82.67% in content aspects, 86.67% in presentation aspects, 87.78% in language aspects, and 88.33% in graphic aspects. LKPD which is considered very feasible is expected to be a teaching material that can increase understanding of concepts and science process skills (SPS).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of student worksheet with blended learning orientation to improve KPS in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material. The method used is Research and Development. Data collection was obtained from three validators in the field of chemistry education using validation sheets. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. This study discusses the validity of the developed LKPD, in terms of content and in terms of constructs. The results based on the validation assessment by the validator obtained very valid results on the content validity and construct validity with the respective percentages of 81.90% and 85.64%. It is concluded that student worksheet oriented blended learning to improve KPS in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material is valid as a learning medium.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru-guru di MGMP Kimia Kabupaten Banyuwangi dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran kimia berbasis komputer Chem Lab, mengintegrasikan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer Chem Lab dalam penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Kimia dan respon guru-guru di MGMP Kimia Kabupaten Banyuwangi terhadap pelatihan penggunan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer Chem Lab. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan kepada guru-guru MGMP Kimia kabupaten Banyuwangi, Partisipan dari kegiatan ini adalah 18 guru MGMP Kimia Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan telah berhasil dilaksanakan, ditunjukkan dengan 89% peserta telah memiliki kemampuan menggunakan program Chem Lab dengan kategori baik, 83,3% dengan kategori sangat baik dan 11.1% dengan kategori baik telah mampu menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 dan mengintegrasikan program Chem Lab sebagai media pembelajaran serta semua peserta pelatihan memberikan respon yang positif terhadap kegiatan pelatihan yang diberikan oleh Tim PKM.

Abstract

A community service (PKM) has been in Blitar. Its objective is to describe the ability of chemistry teacher in preparing learning materials: syllabus, lesson plan and worksheet based inquiry model to train science process skills and the response of the teachers during the training activitie. Steps the activities of community service are activities undertaken refresher teacher competency and making of learning materials based inquiry model. Evaluation is done by questionnaires to participants to get the data in response to the implementation of training and marking the product of learning materials. Based on data from results of the training, it can be concluded: (1) general response chemistry teacher MGMPs in Blitar on the activities of the training is good,(2) the ability of chemistry teachers MGMP in Blitar in formulating activities based learning models of inquiry learning is good.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) di Kabupaten Kediri. Tujuan kegiatan adalah kemampuan guru kimia dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah berbasis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan respon guru selama mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan. Langkah-langkah kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah kegiatan penyegaran materi penyusunan artikel ilmiah berbasis PTK. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan angket kepada peserta untuk mendapatkan data respon terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan dan penilaian terhadap artikel ilmiah yang dihasilkan oleh peserta pelatihan. Berdasarkan data hasil pelatihan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) respon peserta pelatihan sangat baik terhadap pelatihan ini, (2) kemampuan guru MGMP Kimia di Kabupaten Kediri dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah adalah baik.Kata Kunci: pelatihan, artikel ilmiah, PTK

Abstract

Mata pelajaran kimia adalah salah satu dari mata pelajaran yang juga harus dilakukan penilaian. Namun yang sering dilakukan adalah penilaian produk dan sikap ilmiah. Sementara mata pelajaran kimia merupakan bagian dari sains, dan hakikat sains mencakup tiga hal yaitu 1) produk ilmiah, 2) proses ilmiah dan 3) sikap ilmiah (Mariana dan Praginda, 2009). Produk ilmiah dapat berupa konsep, prinsip, hukum dan teori. Proses ilmiah mencakup perumusan masalah, perumusan hipotesis, pengumpulan data, menganalisis data dan menyimpulkan. Keterampilan melaksanakan proses sains ini biasa dikenal dengan istilah keterampilan proses sains. Sikap ilmiah meliputi keteguhan hati, ketekunan, keingintahuan dan menyingkap rahasia alam.  Dengan demikian penilaian mata pelajaran kimia seharusnya tidak hanya produk dan sikap ilmiah, tetapi juga keterampilan proses sainsnya. Tujuan PKM ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan pemahaman materi penilaian keterampilan proses sains peserta pelatihan, (2) mendeskripsikan kemampuan peserta pelatihan dalam mengembangkan instrumen penilaian keterampilan proses sains, dan (3) mendeskripsikan respon peserta pelatihan terhadap kegiatan pelatihan pengembangan instrumen penilaian keterampilan proses sains ini. Kegiatan pelatihan ini terdiri atas beberapa langkah: (1) Pembelajaran selama beberapa jam oleh tim PKM peserta pelatihan yaitu guru-guru Mapel Kimia SMA Kabupaten Sumenep dalam rangka  penyegaran materi penilaian keterampilan proses sains, (2) Tim PKM memberikan tes pemahaman peserta terhadap materi pengembangan instrumen penilaian KPS, (3) Tim PKM memberi tugas peserta untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian KPS, dan (4) Tim PKM memberikan angket kepada peserta untuk mendapatkan data respon peserta terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan pengembangan instrumen penilaian KPS. Instrumen dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini meliputi (1) Tes tulis  untuk mengukur pemahaman peserta tentang penilaian keterampilan proses sains, (2) Lembar penilaian kemampuan peserta dalam mengembangkan instrumen penilaian KPS dan (3) Angket untuk mengukur respon peserta terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan pengembangan instrumen penilaian keterampilan proses sains. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah 1) Pemahaman materi pengembangan instrumen penilaian KPS peserta pelatihan dinyatakan tuntas secara klasikal dengan ketuntasan 85,7%, 2) Ketujuh peserta pelatihan telah mengembangkan dengan baik instrumen penilaian KPS untuk satu topik pembahasan kelas X, XI dan XII mapel kimia, 3) Peserta memberikan respon secara baik terhadap pelatihan pengembangan instrumen penilaian KPS. Adapun saran untuk kegiatan PKM ini adalah 1) tugas pengembangan instrumen penilaian KPS terkait jumlah KPS-nya diperbanyak, 2) perlu pendampingan di kelas-kelas dalam rangka penerapan KPS dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility of the practicum e-module based on cooperative learning on salt hydrolysisi material. Feasibility can be viewed from the validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research was carried out in class XII MIA 1 at SMAM 10 GKB with a total of 24 students. The research method used is the 4-D method.  This study used instruments in the form of validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pretest posttest question sheets.  To analyze the results of the scientific literacy test, a non parameteric test was used (Wilcoxon Test). The validity of the e-module has valid and very valid criteria, the content criteria obtained a percentage of 81.37%, language criteria obtained 83.33%, presentation criteria obtained 80.66%, and graphics criteria obtained 82.66%. Based on practicality, the content criteria obtained a response percentage of 87.33%, the presentation criteria obtained 86.78%, the graphic criteria obtained 97.50%, and the language criteria obtained 97.52%. Student activities have very practical criteria, because the percentage is 100% or it can be stated that all activities are carried out. Wilcoxon test results get the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (H0 is rejected). E-module of chemistry practicum based on cooperative learning on salt hydrolysis material can increase students' scientific literacy results so that it is effective to use.
