Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the problem-based learning model assisted by the water cycle stage media on students' critical thinking skills. The use of learning models can affect students' critical thinking skills. In this study using the Problem Based Learning learning model. The population in this study were fifth-grade students at SD N Ngawen 02, with a total of 22 students. This research is a quantitative study, taking samples using a random sampling technique, each population has the same opportunity to be randomly selected. one experimental class. This study used a paired sample t-test with a significant value of 2-tailed, namely obtaining 0.000 <0.05 so that H_o was rejected and H_a was accepted. Before being given treatment, the initial average value was 50.1. After being given treatment, the average was 88.6 using the problem-based learning model assisted by the water cycle stage media. It can be concluded that using the problem-based learning model is significantly better at improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan peran keluarga dalam membentuk sikap sopan santun pada anak SD di desa Tengguli Bangsri Jepara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengungkapkan bentuk peran keluarga dalam pembentukan sikap sopan santun pada anak SD. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Peneliti mengungkapkan masalah dengan cara mendiskripsikan dalam bentuk kata-kata guna memberi gambaran sejelas-jelasnya kepada pembaca. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas orang tua yang mempunyai anak SD di Desa Tengguli Kecamatan Bangsri Kabupaten Jepara sudah cukup melaksanakan perannya dengan cukup baik dalam membina sopan santun anak. Dari seluruh indicator ternyata tidak seluruhnya dikembangkan dengan baik, Dari pernyataan orang tua anak terdapat beberapa cara yang dapat dilakukan orang tua dalam membentuk perilaku sopan santun kepada anak yaitu dengan menerapkan beberapa cara yang berbeda, orang tua memberi nasehat, orang tua memberikan contoh yang baik kepada anak, memberikan pembiasaan kepada anak dalam berperilaku maupun berbicara sopan santun, serta memberikan pendidikan akhlak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses motivasi dari orang tua dalam hasil belajar seni dekoratif menggambar taplak meja dan teralis kelas IV SD 2 Kesambi , serta mengetahui hasil belajar seni dekoratif menggambar taplak meja dan teralis kelas IV SD 2 Kesambi . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD 2 Kesambi dengan mengambil subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV di SD 2 Kesambi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga tahap analisis yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa motivasi orang tua dalam hasil belajar seni dekoratif di SD 2 Kesambi diberikan melalui dorongan verbal, penyediaan alat menggambar, serta pendampingan saat belajar. Keterlibatan orang tua dalam mengapresiasi karya anak meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, minat, dan keterampilan menggambar anak. Hasil belajar seni dekoratif meningkat dengan motivasi orang tua, terlihat dari kerapian, kreativitas, dan pemilihan warna yang lebih baik. Meskipun ada kesulitan dalam pola simetris dan keterbatasan alat, semangat siswa tetap tinggi berkat dukungan orang tua dan usaha mandiri.

Abstract

An innovative approach that has attracted attention in recent years is the use of interactive media, such as interactive comics, in the teaching of science. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of interactive comic media for science subjects in fifth grade elementary school. This research belongs to the type of Research and Development (R&D) research with research and development procedures consisting of two stages: media development and media testing. The method used develop and test learning media uses the Borg and Gall model. The product trial design used a pretest posttest control group design on students at SDN 2 Jambu as the experimental class and students at SDN 11 Jambu as the control class. Data were collected by observation, questionnaires, tests, interviews and documentation. The statistical test of effectiveness was carried out with SPSS. Data on the effectiveness of interactive comics learning media were analyzed by gain test, t test at a significance level of 0.05. Learning media developed in the form of interactive comics. The interactive comic was developed based on a needs analysis conducted on fifth grade students and teachers in three elementary schools in the Mlonggo sub-district, Jepara Regency. The use of interactive comics is effective as evidenced by an increase in learning outcomes. The average percentage of prettest in the control and experimental classes is almost the same, namely 30.00 and 30.67. After being given the intervention, the average posttest of the control and experimental classes increased to 50.00 and 74.83. The results of the t test obtained that the value of t count = 8.803 with a significance level of 0.000 < = 0.05. The conclusion obtained is that the development of interactive comic media has proven to be effective for use in learning in the fifth grade of elementary school. It is recommended that teachers use interactive comics in learning because it can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

Kesehatan mental saat ini menjadi faktor yang penting untuk dicermati dan berpengaruh pada pola pikir dalam mengatasi permasalahan kehidupan. Disabilitas mental salahsatunya yang terdampak mengalami permasalahan kesehatan mental perlu dilakukan terapi melalui terapi puisi religi untuk meningkatkan ekspresi jiwa. Pemikiran dan pengendapan permasalahan kehidupan perlu dituangkan dalam puisi sebagai media tulis karya sastra. Tujuan penelitian ini pertama, menerapkan terapi puisi religi sebagai langkah menuangkan pemikiran dan pengendapan permasalahan kehidupan bagi disabilitas mental. Kedua, melakukan terapi puisi untuk meningkatkan ekspresi jiwa bagi disabilitas mental. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan naratif. Data penelitian berupa puisi religi disabilitas mental. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian, pertama terapi puisi mampu menjadi media menuangkan pemikiran dan pengendapan permasalahan kehidupan disabilitas mental. Kedua, ekspresi jiwa disabilitas mental mampu tertuang dalam terapi puisi religi.

Abstract

Kurangnya variasi media dan model pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar IPAS siswa sekolah dasar. Guru yang seharusnya menjadi fasilitator masih mengajarkan suatu materi dengan cara yang monoton, membosankan tanpa adanya inovasi dalam system Pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran group investigation dengan metode diskusi dan quizizz dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS kelas 5 di Sekolah Dasar. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif desain One Group Pretest-Posttest dengan jenis kuasi eksperimental. Uji N-gain digunakan dalam analisis data. Hasil penelitian dengan uji N-gain yang menggunakan metode diskusi dan quizizz menghasilkan hasil yang sedang 0,55. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa Pembelajaran IPAS melalui group investigation dengan metode diskusi dan quizizz berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dilapangan, penggunaan metode diskusi dan quizizz terbukti berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas 5 sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review of AI in primary education by searching the Scopus database in August 2025. The initial search identified 619 articles, and after screening, 57 articles published between 2021 and 2025 were analyzed. The analysis was conducted using bibliometric analysis and the TCCM framework, which was applied to answer research questions and map research gaps. The findings show an increasing trend in publications each year, with the most articles published in 2025 (n = 27), while the peak in annual citations occurred in 2024 (with 561 citations). Keyword co-occurrence analysis formed five clusters, namely AI literacy and pedagogy; GenAI and personalization; student perceptions; AI literacy in elementary schools; and student behavior. The TCCM analysis identified various theories used, with TAM/UTAUT being the most frequently applied. In terms of context, the most frequent participants were elementary school students (≈50%; 26 studies), followed by teachers, prospective teachers/students, a combination of students and teachers, and school management. In terms of characteristics, 15 main categories of factors were mapped, namely personal, intention, attitude, usage, usefulness, ease, pedagogical, and knowledge, which were the dominant categories. In terms of methods, survey-based quantitative designs were the most dominant (n = 25; 44.6%), with SEM-PLS as the analysis technique. Furthermore, this study synthesizes the latest evidence to describe research gaps and offers a future research agenda for advancing AI in the context of primary education.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menjawab soal uraian IPAS menjadi akar penyebab topik penelitian ini. Temuan pra-penelitian dari wawancara dengan guru kelas V SD 3 Klaling mengungkapkan bahwa siswa cenderung pasif saat kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hal ini juga terlihat pada hasil pengerjaan soal studi pendahuluan saat pembelajaran hal ini tergolong kurang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model Teams Game Tournament (TGT) dengan media Electric and Ladder berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan seberapa besar pengaruh hasil kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V pada materi IPAS di SD 3 Klaling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pre-eksperimen dengan jenis one grup pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek seluruh kelas V SD 3 Klaling yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, test (pretest dan posttest), dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data berupa uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji linieritas regresi, dan uji analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SD 3 Klaling sebelum dan sesudah diterapkanya model TGT dengan media permainan electric and ladder. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dari 56,08 (pretest) menjadi 66,15 (posttest). Selain itu, melalui hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t parsial dalam regresi linier sederhana, yang menghasilkan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,373 atau 37,3%. Hal ini membuktikan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara penerapan model TGT dengan media electric and ladder terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Kata Kunci : Model TGT, Media Permainan electric and ladder, dan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa.

Abstract

Early reading skills are fundamental competencies that must be mastered by elementary school students, as they serve as the foundation for future academic success. However, conventional teacher-centered instruction often fails to maximize students’ active engagement in learning. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning model assisted by mind mapping media in improving the early reading skills of second-grade elementary students. This research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental design. The participants were second-grade students who received instruction through the Project Based Learning model assisted by mind mapping media. Data were collected using reading skill tests administered before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed to identify differences in students’ reading abilities following the implementation of the learning model. The findings indicate that the implementation of Project Based Learning assisted by mind mapping media has a positive effect on students’ early reading skills. The model promotes active student participation, enhances critical and creative thinking skills, and facilitates comprehension through structured visual representation of concepts. Furthermore, the learning environment becomes more interactive and meaningful, increasing students’ motivation to engage in reading activities. Therefore, the Project Based Learning model assisted by mind mapping media is recommended as an alternative instructional strategy to improve early reading skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

The low IPAS learning outcomes of Grade V students at SDN Purwokerto on the abstract topic of the human respiratory system, the limited use of contextual learning media, and the continued dominance of conventional teaching practices form the background of this study. This research aimed to analyze the difference in learning outcomes before and after the implementation of 3D animation videos through a Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and to measure its effectiveness. A quantitative approach was employed using a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design involving 20 Grade V students. Data were collected through learning achievement tests, observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using a paired-sample t-test and N-Gain analysis. The results show an increase in the mean score from 51.4 on the pretest to 87.3 on the posttest, with the paired-sample t-test indicating a significant difference (p < 0.001) and an N-Gain score of 0.7451, categorized as high. These findings demonstrate that the use of 3D animation videos through the PBL model is effective in improving students’ IPAS learning outcomes on the human respiratory system topic. The study concludes that the application of 3D animation videos based on Problem Based Learning is not only effective in enhancing IPAS learning outcomes in elementary schools but also contributes to the development of technology-based IPAS instruction and provides recommendations for the systematic implementation of 3D visual media in contextual learning.
