Abstract

Kesehatan mental saat ini menjadi faktor yang penting untuk dicermati dan berpengaruh pada pola pikir dalam mengatasi permasalahan kehidupan. Disabilitas mental salahsatunya yang terdampak mengalami permasalahan kesehatan mental perlu dilakukan terapi melalui terapi puisi religi untuk meningkatkan ekspresi jiwa. Pemikiran dan pengendapan permasalahan kehidupan perlu dituangkan dalam puisi sebagai media tulis karya sastra. Tujuan penelitian ini pertama, menerapkan terapi puisi religi sebagai langkah menuangkan pemikiran dan pengendapan permasalahan kehidupan bagi disabilitas mental. Kedua, melakukan terapi puisi untuk meningkatkan ekspresi jiwa bagi disabilitas mental. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan naratif. Data penelitian berupa puisi religi disabilitas mental. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian, pertama terapi puisi mampu menjadi media menuangkan pemikiran dan pengendapan permasalahan kehidupan disabilitas mental. Kedua, ekspresi jiwa disabilitas mental mampu tertuang dalam terapi puisi religi.

Abstract

Kurangnya variasi media dan model pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar IPAS siswa sekolah dasar. Guru yang seharusnya menjadi fasilitator masih mengajarkan suatu materi dengan cara yang monoton, membosankan tanpa adanya inovasi dalam system Pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran group investigation dengan metode diskusi dan quizizz dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS kelas 5 di Sekolah Dasar. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif desain One Group Pretest-Posttest dengan jenis kuasi eksperimental. Uji N-gain digunakan dalam analisis data. Hasil penelitian dengan uji N-gain yang menggunakan metode diskusi dan quizizz menghasilkan hasil yang sedang 0,55. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa Pembelajaran IPAS melalui group investigation dengan metode diskusi dan quizizz berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dilapangan, penggunaan metode diskusi dan quizizz terbukti berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas 5 sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review of AI in primary education by searching the Scopus database in August 2025. The initial search identified 619 articles, and after screening, 57 articles published between 2021 and 2025 were analyzed. The analysis was conducted using bibliometric analysis and the TCCM framework, which was applied to answer research questions and map research gaps. The findings show an increasing trend in publications each year, with the most articles published in 2025 (n = 27), while the peak in annual citations occurred in 2024 (with 561 citations). Keyword co-occurrence analysis formed five clusters, namely AI literacy and pedagogy; GenAI and personalization; student perceptions; AI literacy in elementary schools; and student behavior. The TCCM analysis identified various theories used, with TAM/UTAUT being the most frequently applied. In terms of context, the most frequent participants were elementary school students (≈50%; 26 studies), followed by teachers, prospective teachers/students, a combination of students and teachers, and school management. In terms of characteristics, 15 main categories of factors were mapped, namely personal, intention, attitude, usage, usefulness, ease, pedagogical, and knowledge, which were the dominant categories. In terms of methods, survey-based quantitative designs were the most dominant (n = 25; 44.6%), with SEM-PLS as the analysis technique. Furthermore, this study synthesizes the latest evidence to describe research gaps and offers a future research agenda for advancing AI in the context of primary education.

Abstract

Early reading skills are fundamental competencies that must be mastered by elementary school students, as they serve as the foundation for future academic success. However, conventional teacher-centered instruction often fails to maximize students’ active engagement in learning. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning model assisted by mind mapping media in improving the early reading skills of second-grade elementary students. This research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental design. The participants were second-grade students who received instruction through the Project Based Learning model assisted by mind mapping media. Data were collected using reading skill tests administered before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed to identify differences in students’ reading abilities following the implementation of the learning model. The findings indicate that the implementation of Project Based Learning assisted by mind mapping media has a positive effect on students’ early reading skills. The model promotes active student participation, enhances critical and creative thinking skills, and facilitates comprehension through structured visual representation of concepts. Furthermore, the learning environment becomes more interactive and meaningful, increasing students’ motivation to engage in reading activities. Therefore, the Project Based Learning model assisted by mind mapping media is recommended as an alternative instructional strategy to improve early reading skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine whether there is an influence of the make a match type cooperative learning model on critical thinking skills and an increase in critical thinking skills by implementing the make a match type cooperative model on students at SDN 2 Mayong Kidul. This study uses a quantitative research type with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design approach. The sample used was 15 students. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The results showed that there was a value of the influence of the difference in the average pretest and posttest scores, namely 68.6667 and 83.3333. This statement is supported by the results of the paired sample t-test showing that there was a difference in the average pretest and posttest scores in learning using the make a match type cooperative learning model on the critical thinking skills of grade IV students at SDN 2 Mayong Kidul. Data analysis using the N-Gain test obtained an average value of 0.4920 <0.7 so that it shows a moderate category.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of local wisdom-based digital comics on Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning outcomes among third-grade students at SDN 1 Kuwukan. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design involving 15 students as subjects. The digital comic media integrated local wisdom elements from Kuwukan Village, including Sewu Kupat Tradition, Barongan Art, village environmental conditions, gotong royong values, and traditional kupat food. Data collection utilized validated and reliable learning outcome tests with expert validation showing 95.45% validity in the "very valid" category and Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.892. Results demonstrated highly significant effectiveness through paired sample t-test (t = -16.000; p < 0.001), showing an average score increase of 26.67 points from pretest (62.33) to posttest (89.00). The N-Gain score achieved 70.73% in the "high" category, with 53.33% of students reaching high category and 46.67% reaching medium category. Effect size calculation (Cohen's d = 4.133) indicated a very large practical impact. The integration of local wisdom proved to provide meaningful learning experiences by connecting learning materials with students' daily life contexts. Digital comic media demonstrated several advantages including high visual appeal, usage flexibility, ability to concretize abstract concepts, and potential for interactive learning. These findings support multimedia learning theory and constructivist approaches in elementary education. The study concludes that local wisdom-based digital comics are highly effective for improving IPAS learning outcomes and can serve as an innovative alternative for elementary science education.

Abstract

Smartphone use among elementary school students is increasingly widespread, but is often misused for entertainment rather than learning. This is feared to affect learning outcomes, especially in mathematics. This study aims to analyze the impact of smartphone use on the cognitive domain of sixth-grade students' mathematics learning outcomes. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The research subjects consisted of five sixth-grade students with high, medium, and low learning outcomes categories, as well as sixth-grade teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that students with high learning outcomes use smartphones as a learning support tool so that it does not interfere with conceptual understanding. For students with medium learning outcomes, smartphones have a dual impact, namely helping in searching for information but also reducing learning focus. Meanwhile, for students with low learning outcomes, the dominant use of smartphones for entertainment has a negative impact on concentration, conceptual understanding, and independence in solving math problems. The conclusion of this study is that smartphones have a significant impact on students' mathematics learning outcomes, especially in the cognitive domain for students with high, medium, and low learning outcomes. The impact is dual in nature, namely it can be a supporter or an obstacle to learning, depending on the intensity, goals and how students utilize it.

Abstract

Challenges in elementary education frequently arise from the continued use of conventional and monotonous teaching methods, which often lead to low student engagement and difficulty in grasping abstract concepts such as astronomy. These issues are further compounded by the limited availability of digital learning tools and insufficient teacher training. The gap between the expected implementation of interactive learning and actual classroom practices highlights the urgent need for innovative approaches. One such approach is PjBL integrated with interactive media to improve students' conceptual understanding. This study aims to (1) analyze students’ conceptual understanding of astronomy before and after instructional intervention, and (2) measure the extent of improvement achieved through the implementation of PjBL supported by Universe Sandbox media. Employing a quasi-experimental design (one-group pretest-posttest) involving 32 sixth-grade students at SDN 7 Gondosari, data were collected using tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through normality testing, paired sample t-tests, and N-Gain calculations. The results indicated a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with the paired sample t-test yielding a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (0.05), suggesting a substantial increase in conceptual understanding. Additionally, the N-Gain analysis produced an average score of 0.7486, categorized as moderate to high improvement. These findings confirm that the PjBL model, when supported by Universe Sandbox media, is effective in enhancing students’ comprehension of astronomical concepts.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menjawab soal uraian IPAS menjadi akar penyebab topik penelitian ini. Temuan pra-penelitian dari wawancara dengan guru kelas V SD 3 Klaling mengungkapkan bahwa siswa cenderung pasif saat kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hal ini juga terlihat pada hasil pengerjaan soal studi pendahuluan saat pembelajaran hal ini tergolong kurang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model Teams Game Tournament (TGT) dengan media Electric and Ladder berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan seberapa besar pengaruh hasil kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V pada materi IPAS di SD 3 Klaling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pre-eksperimen dengan jenis one grup pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek seluruh kelas V SD 3 Klaling yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, test (pretest dan posttest), dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data berupa uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji linieritas regresi, dan uji analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SD 3 Klaling sebelum dan sesudah diterapkanya model TGT dengan media permainan electric and ladder. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dari 56,08 (pretest) menjadi 66,15 (posttest). Selain itu, melalui hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t parsial dalam regresi linier sederhana, yang menghasilkan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,373 atau 37,3%. Hal ini membuktikan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara penerapan model TGT dengan media electric and ladder terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Kata Kunci : Model TGT, Media Permainan electric and ladder, dan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa.

Abstract

An innovative approach that has attracted attention in recent years is the use of interactive media, such as interactive comics, in the teaching of science. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of interactive comic media for science subjects in fifth grade elementary school. This research belongs to the type of Research and Development (R&D) research with research and development procedures consisting of two stages: media development and media testing. The method used develop and test learning media uses the Borg and Gall model. The product trial design used a pretest posttest control group design on students at SDN 2 Jambu as the experimental class and students at SDN 11 Jambu as the control class. Data were collected by observation, questionnaires, tests, interviews and documentation. The statistical test of effectiveness was carried out with SPSS. Data on the effectiveness of interactive comics learning media were analyzed by gain test, t test at a significance level of 0.05. Learning media developed in the form of interactive comics. The interactive comic was developed based on a needs analysis conducted on fifth grade students and teachers in three elementary schools in the Mlonggo sub-district, Jepara Regency. The use of interactive comics is effective as evidenced by an increase in learning outcomes. The average percentage of prettest in the control and experimental classes is almost the same, namely 30.00 and 30.67. After being given the intervention, the average posttest of the control and experimental classes increased to 50.00 and 74.83. The results of the t test obtained that the value of t count = 8.803 with a significance level of 0.000 < = 0.05. The conclusion obtained is that the development of interactive comic media has proven to be effective for use in learning in the fifth grade of elementary school. It is recommended that teachers use interactive comics in learning because it can improve student learning outcomes
