This study aims to analyze the level of student satisfaction with Indonesian language lecturers in terms of creativity and material mastery during online lectures for second semester students of the 2020/2021 academic year at Sanata Dharma University. The number of samples as many as 150 students were selected randomly by using probability sampling technique of simple random sampling type. Sampling in the study was calculated using the minimum sample determination table according to Krejcie and Morgan with a 95% confidence level. This type of research is survey research with a quantitative descriptive approach and uses a survey research design with descriptive analysis techniques. The instruments used to measure creativity and mastery of lecturer materials are questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The criteria used refer to the criteria for the percentage of success intervals, namely very high, high, medium, less and very less. The results showed that the level of student satisfaction with subject teachers, creativity skills and mastery of lecturer materials in online learning obtained an average score in the very high category.

Abstract

Many things should be done to prepare prospective teachers for providing qualified teachers. The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing teachers, including prospective teachers, to improve competency and online teaching activities. This quantitative research aims to map the readiness of prospective-teacher students of Office Administration (OA) Department related to online learning by measuring their teaching competencies and learning activities. These two variables are considered capable of measuring online teaching readiness. The research sample is 72 students. The data were collected using a questionnaire distributed via a Google Form and analyzed using K-Means with SPSS 24.0 software. The results showed that the number of clusters at low readiness level was 11 students (10 female and one male) or 15%, the number of clusters at moderate readiness level was 38 students (32 female and six male) or 53%, and the number of clusters at moderate level high readiness was 23 students (18 female and five male) or 32%. These findings show that the OA Department’s prospective teachers still need to be provided with online teaching materials or skills, considering that only 32% of respondents have a high level of readiness for online learning. The community is the indicator that needs improvement for OA Department prospective teachers’ readiness. It can be pursued by forming the latest and most trusted community.

Even though these things should exist in children in their current development period, this study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the intensity of online games and parents' attention to the social skills of elementary school children. This type of research is quantitative research with a survey method. The subjects of this study were 246 elementary school students spread across the city of Yogyakarta. Sampling from the study population was carried out using a proportional random sampling technique, namely the method of taking samples from members of the people using random methods without regard to strata in the population. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis technique using Regression statistical techniques. The study's results stated that the relationship between online games and social skills, parental attention and social skills, and the relationship between the two towards social skills were fragile.

Abstract

This study aims to describe, interpret, and analyze the PGSD UPY students’ difficulties in learning mathematics 2. The research type is a descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects are students and a mathematics lecturer of PGSD UPY. The data were gathered through interviews, observations, documentations, and tests. The data validity test was done by using triangulation of sources and techniques. Proprietary interactive analysis models (Miles, Huberman, & Saldana, 2014) were used to analyzed the data. The results show that there are some difficulties experienced by students in learning numberic system especially for fractions. The pretest and post test results show that  A1 and A2 students get low average score on fractions materials. The average score of the pretest for A1 is 66.11 while A2 is 62.35. The average core of the posttest for A1 is 67.22, while A2 is 63.52.

Abstract

Abstract

Changes to the assessment system with the abolition of the UN (National Examination) and the implementation of the AN (National Assessment) elicited mixed reactions from teachers. AN is not a determinant of graduation but a school quality assessment program. It is necessary to study teachers' perceptions of AN and how these perceptions influence teachers' use of supportive learning media in improving the quality of learning. This study aims to determine the effect of teachers' perceptions of AN and instructional media on the quality of learning in senior high schools in South Aceh District. Quantitative research with a survey research design was carried out using a questionnaire sheet as a research instrument. Data analysis used inferential statistics, namely, linear regression and descriptive statistics, namely, the ideal assessment category. The results show that there is a significant influence between teachers' perceptions of AN and the use of instructional media on the quality of learning.
