Abstract

Abstrak Seringkali keaktifan peserta didik menjadi masalah dalam proses pembelajaran. Penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang variatif diharapkan mampu mengembangkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode pembelajaran edutainment dalam menguatkan keaktifan peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PPKn di SMP Negeri 2 Kalirejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasy eskperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 59 responden yang terdiri dari 30 responden kelas eksperimen dan 29 responden kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi sebagai teknik pokok dan angket sebagai teknik penunjang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh hasil yang signifikan dari penerapan metode pembelajaran edutainment dalam menguatkan keaktifan peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PPKn dengan presentase 84,88% yang dibuktikan dengan banyaknya peserta didik mengajukan pertanyaan, menjawab pertanyaan, dan melakukan aktivitas belajar dengan games. Hal tersebut menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dari penerapan metode pembelajaran edutainment dalam menguatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PPKn. The use of varied learning methods is expected to be able to develop students' active learning. This research aims to determine the application of edutainment learning methods in strengthening student activity in civic education subject at SMP Negeri 2 Kalirejo. This research used a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 59 respondents consisting of 30 experimental class respondents and 29 control class respondents. Data collection techniques use observation techniques as the main technique and questionnaires as a maintenance technique. Based on the research results, significant results were obtained from the application of edutainment learning methods in strengthening student activity in civic education subject with a percentage of 84.88% as evidenced by the large number of students asking questions, answering questions, and carrying out learning activities with games. This shows that there were significant differences in the application of edutainment learning methods in strengthening students' learning activities in civic education subject. Abstract

Abstract The development of civic engagement among young citizens is crucial as it directly impacts the quality of human resources and plays a key role in guiding the nation's progress towards the fulfillment of societal, national, and state ideals. Civic engagement is intricately linked to public life and requires strong interpersonal intelligence in young individuals who represent the future generation of the nation. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review to descriptively outline the role of interpersonal intelligence in shaping civic engagement among young citizens. The findings emphasize the vital role of interpersonal intelligence in fostering civic engagement among young citizens, enabling them to actively participate and be visible members of society. Keywords: Interpersonal Intelligence, Civic Engagement, Young Citizen Abstrak Pembentukan civic engagement bagi warga negara muda sangat diperlukan karena aspek yang terkandung di dalamnya dapat menentukan kualitas sumber daya manusia warga negara muda serta memiliki tujuan dalam menentukan arah kemajuan bangsa, yang bermuara pada tercapainya cita-cita masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara. Civic engagement sangat berkaitan erat dengan kehidupan masyarakat publik. Maka dari pada itu, dibutuhkanlah kecerdasan interpersonal yang mumpuni dalam diri individu warga negara muda sebagai wajah kualitas generasi muda bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan, yang akan menjabarkan secara deskriptif mengenai kecerdasan interpersonal dalam membentuk civic engagement warga negara muda. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan interpersonal sangat diperlukan dalam pembentukan civic engagement warga negara muda, dikarenakan dengan kecerdasan interpersonal maka pemuda sebagai warga negara muda mampu tampil, berpartisipasi dan aktif untuk terlihat langsung di dalam masyarakat. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the RETINA Program (Youth Anti-Drugs and Violence) on students’ compliance with school rules at SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. This research used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto method. The population of this study consisted of 774 students, with a sample of 89 respondents determined using the simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, and were supported by interviews and documentation to strengthen the research data. The collected data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that the RETINA Program has a positive and significant effect on students’ compliance with school rules. Based on the results of the simple linear regression test in the Model Summary table, the coefficient of determination (R Square) value obtained was 0.361. This value indicates that the RETINA Program contributes 36.1% to students’ compliance with school rules, while the remaining 63.9% is influenced by other factors outside the research variables. The RETINA Program plays a preventive and educational role in increasing students’ awareness and compliance with school regulations, thereby supporting the creation of an orderly, safe, and conducive school environment.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Si Lamtim Berjaya application as a form of e-government in improving public service delivery in East Lampung Regency. The problem addressed in this research is the suboptimal utilization of the application by the community despite its availability to facilitate administrative services. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the implementation of the application, assess community participation in its use, and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its optimization. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving government officials and community members. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques, supported by source and method triangulation to ensure validity. The results indicate that the Si Lamtim Berjaya application has contributed positively to improving public services by enhancing accessibility, efficiency, and transparency. However, community participation remains uneven due to limited digital literacy, technical issues within the system, and persistent preferences for conventional service methods. Supporting factors include ease of access, time efficiency, and government socialization efforts. In conclusion, while the application demonstrates the potential of e-government in public service improvement, further optimization is required, particularly in strengthening digital literacy and system reliability to achieve more effective and inclusive service delivery.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using a second Instagram account on the digital responsibility of Civics students at the University of Lampung. This research method uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 76 students selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data collection used questionnaires and interviews, and data analysis used a simple linear regression test. The results of the study showed that using a second Instagram account had a positive and significant impact on digital responsibility by 31.5%, while the remaining 68.5% was influenced by factors outside the research variables. A second Instagram account can be a place of freedom while still being aware of the rules, as using a second account doesn't always have negative consequences if used for good purposes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of peer social interaction on the empathy of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews, and data analysis used simple linear regression. The research sample consisted of 69 students selected through simple random sampling technique. Students who have quality social interaction with their peers will also have good empathy, so that students can provide positive actions and responses to those around them, including willingness to help without expecting anything in return, providing attention and emotional support, as well as listening to and understanding friends' complaints. The results show that peer social interaction has a positive and significant influence on students' empathy by 32.2%. This influence occurs because the three indicators of peer social interaction, namely interaction quality, type of interaction, and frequency of interaction, collectively shape a social environment that supports the growth of empathy. Interaction quality that has already tended to be positive and supportive among students encourages them to care for and listen to one another, which directly trains emotional sensitivity. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi sosial teman sebaya terhadap sikap empati siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket dan wawancara sebagai pendukung serta analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 69 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Siswa yang memiliki interaksi sosial yang berkualitas dengan teman sebayanya maka akan memiliki sikap empati yang baik pula, sehingga siswa dapat memberikan tindakan ataupun respons positif kepada orang-orang di sekitarnya, meliputi kesediaan membantu tanpa pamrih, memberikan perhatian dan dukungan emosional, serta mendengarkan dan memahami keluh kesah teman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi sosial teman sebaya berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap sikap empati sebesar 32,2%. Pengaruh tersebut dapat terjadi karena ketiga indikator interaksi sosial teman sebaya, yaitu kualitas interaksi, jenis interaksi, dan frekuensi interaksi, secara bersama-sama membentuk kondisi sosial yang mendukung tumbuhnya empati. Kualitas interaksi yang sudah cenderung positif dan suportif di antara siswa mendorong mereka untuk saling peduli dan mendengarkan satu sama lain, yang secara langsung melatih kepekaan emosional.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has transformed the education sector and requires school human resources to possess digital literacy and digital citizenship competencies. This community service program, conducted at SMP YPPL Panjang in Bandar Lampung City, aimed to strengthen teachers’ understanding of these competencies as an effort to improve the quality of school human resources. The program adopted a learning-by-doing approach involving knowledge sharing, discussions, practical activities, and an initial assessment through questionnaires. The findings revealed that most participants were already familiar with the concepts of digital literacy and digital citizenship; however, they had not fully recognized their strategic role in addressing the challenges of technological disruption in education. At the end of the program, 100% of participants signed a commitment statement to pursue continuous self-development, implement digital citizenship values, act as change agents, and foster sustainable collaboration. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening digital literacy and digital citizenship as key foundations for preparing school human resources to adapt to technological changes and support the development of a high-quality, inclusive, and sustainable educational ecosystem.
