Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu mata pelajaran yang sangat penting untuk diajarkan di sekolah dasar adalah Matematika. Akan tetapi, hingga saat ini guru matematika masih dihadapkan pada permasalahan bahwa matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang dianggap sulit dan tidak disenangi oleh siswa, sehingga hasil belajar siswa masih rendah atau tidak memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui proses pembelajaran Matematika materi bilangan bulat dengan metode demonstrasi menggunakan alat peraga jembatan garis bilangan, (2) mengetahui hasil belajar Matematika materi bilangan bulat setelah menggunakan metode demontrasi dengan alat peraga jembatan garis bilangan, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh metode demonstrasi dengan alat peraga  jembatan garis bilangan terhadap hasil belajar Matematika materi bilangan bulat siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Belawa Kabupaten Cirebon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest postest design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan angket. Sementara itu, Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode demonstrasi dengan alat peraga jembatan garis bilangan dengan  hasil belajar matematika materi bilangan bulat siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Belawa Kabupaten Cirebon. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai uji determinasi sebesar 0,650 atau 65%.Kata kunci: demonstrasi, jembatan garis bilangan, hasil belajar bilangan bulat  AbstractOne of the most important subjects to be taught in elementary school is Mathematics. However, until now the mathematics teacher is still faced with the problems that mathematics is one of the subjects that are considered difficult and not liked by the students. So that student learning outcomes is low or does not meet the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). This research aims to: (1) understand the process of learning mathematics in integer material with demonstration method using bridge props of number line, (2) determine the learning outcomes of mathematics in integer material  after using demonstration method with bridge props of number line, and (3) the effect of demonstration method with bridge props number line to the learning outcomes of mathematics in integer material grade IV SDN 2 Belawa Cirebon. This research is an experimental research with research design one group pretest postest design. Data collection technique used is a test and questionnaire. Meanwhile, the data of the research were analyzed using regression analysis. The results of the research showed that a significant difference between the methods of demonstration with props bridge number line with the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 2 Belawa Cirebon. This is indicated by the test value determination equal to 0.650 or 65%.Keywords: demonstration, bridge number line, learning outcomes integer

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how much influence the application of puzzle props by using demonstration methods to student’s learning motivation on learning mathematics in SD / MI. This research is a quantitative research, using One Shot Case Study design. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and observations. Subjects in this study were all students of grade IV-1 MI An-Nur Cirebon City which amounted to 38 students. The technique of data analysis used in this research is questionnaires test, determination test and Coefisient Regression Test. Based on regression test results, it is found that the significance value of 0.000. So that the significance value is smaller than 0.05 and t arithmetic of 6,608 is greater than t table of 2.03011, then Ho is rejected. This means that the application of puzzle props by using demonstration method on learning mathematics have a significant influence to student's learning motivation in class IV MI An-Nur Cirebon City.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the planning for improving the quality of Islamic religious education learning through classroom management, the implementation of classroom management, and teachers’ efforts in improving the quality of Islamic religious education learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods based on data collection techniques, including observation, interviews, and document analysis. The stages of data analysis include data reduction techniques, data presentation, data verification, and concluding. The results of this study showed that the classroom management planning carried out by the teacher is to prepare all the basic skills needed by the teacher in teaching. Furthermore, the implementation of classroom management is carried out through the management of face-to-face activities and the organization of subject matter embodied in the lesson plans. The teachers’ efforts in maximizing classroom management include a disciplinary approach, a reward and punishment approach, a teaching approach, an attitude approach, and a group process approach. These aforementioned approaches lead to the strategy to build good interactions with students. The planning and implementation of classroom management that has been carried out by teachers is hoped to improve the quality of learning Islamic religious education in elementary schools.Keywords: improving the quality of learning, classroom management, Islamic religious education. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan peningkatan mutu pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam melalui manajemen kelas, implementasi manajemen kelas, dan upaya guru dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang berpijak pada teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi serta tahapan analisis data dengan menerapkan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perencanaan manajemen kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru adalah dengan mempersiapkan seluruh keterampilan dasar yang dibutuhkan oleh guru dalam mengajar. Selanjutnya, implementasi manajemen kelas dilaksanakan melalui pengelolaan kegiatan tatap muka dan pengorganisasian materi pelajaran yang diwujudkan dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Adapun upaya guru dalam memaksimalkan manajemen kelas diantaranya adalah melalui pendekatan kedisiplinan, pendekatan reward and punishment, pendekatan pengajaran, pendekatan sikap, dan pendekatan proses kelompok. Pendekatan-pendekatan tersebut bermuara pada bagaimana guru mampu membangun interaksi yang baik dengan siswa. Sehingga diharapkan perencanaan dan implementasi manajemen kelas yang telah dilakukan oleh guru mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di sekolah dasar.Kata kunci: peningkatan mutu pembelajaran, manajemen kelas, pendidikan agama Islam.

Abstract

This research is an experimental research using pretest-posttest control group design that aims to know the effectiveness of quantum teaching model with realistic approach in learning mathematics on the geometry  material. The techniques of data collection in this study are documentation, observation, and test. Meanwhile, the instruments used are test sheets and observation sheets. While the techniques of data analysis used in this study are classical completeness test, comparative test (mean difference test), and test improvement (n-gain test). The results of this study indicate that (1) the learning outcomes of students exceed the KKM, which obtained an average value of 77.70 with 85.18% classical completeness; (2) the average value of posttest experimental class of 77.70 is better than control class of 69.07; (3) improvement of learning outcomes of students in the experimental class experienced a significant increase, ie by 0.42.

Abstract

This research focuses on the stages of students' computational thinking processes in solving PISA questions about change and relationship content in terms of self-efficacy. The subjects of this study were 15-year-old students of class X MIPA 3 MAN 1 Semarang City, totaling 22 students and selected 2 students who had high self-efficacy, 2 students who had moderate self-efficacy and 2 students who had low self-efficacy. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection using questionnaires, test instruments and interviews. Data analysis in this study included data collection, data reduction presented in text form and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study show that students' computational thinking processes in solving PISA questions about change and relationship content that have high self-efficacy can reach the stages of decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction and algorithmic thinking as well as students' thought processes in carrying out plans can link real problems into mathematical problems. Whereas students who have self-efficacy are reaching the stages of decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction and algorithmic thinking and in carrying out plans do not connect real problems to mathematical problems but use logic. Whereas students who have low self-efficacy only reach the stages of decomposition and pattern recognition have not done abstraction and algorithmic thinking because students' thinking processes in carrying out plans use logic and in solving these problems do not provide conclusions of answers and logical steps

Abstract

This research changed students' low critical mathematical thinking abilities. To overcome this problem, researchers developed comic-based teaching materials to enhance college students' critical mathematical thinking skills. This study aims to supply comic-based coaching materials that are legitimate and practical. This research uses the R&D method with a 4D development model. This research design uses data collection techniques, validation sheets, and practicality questionnaire sheets. The subjects in this research were 20 students in class V. From the research results, it was found that the media expert's score was 96.66%, which was categorized as very appropriate. The linguist scored 88% in the very appropriate category, the material expert was 80% in the proper category, and the teacher practitioner was 92% in the very appropriate category. For the practicality of comic-based teaching materials, the teacher's practicality score was 96%, and the students' practicality score was 87.7%, categorized as very practical. Therefore, comic-based teaching materials can be used as a solution for educators to improve critical mathematical thinking.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of using differentiating teaching strategies on students' understanding of concept knowledge in PKN IV classrooms at SDN Pelandakan 2 Kota Cirebon. This study is a quantitative study using a pre-experimental design with a single group pretest-posttest layout. The techniques used for data collection are observation and testing techniques. On the other hand, the sample preparation technique uses purposive sampling with a sample size of about 20 participants. Furthermore, the data used in the analysis study includes observational data analysis, N-Gain, and non-parametric Wilcoxon hypothesis testing. The research results showed that the activity of teachers who used differentiation learning strategies when teaching PKN at the last meeting was in the very good category at 96%, and students' understanding of the PKN concept increased by 0.4091, which is included in the medium category. H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, based on the results of non-parametric hypothesis testing with the Wilcoxon test, which shows that the significance value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. In class IV of SDN Pelandakan 2 Cirebon City, there was a significant relationship between the application of differentiation learning strategies and increasing students' understanding of PKN concepts regarding material unit 4 My Country, Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan peserta didik SMPN 2 Kota Cilegon kelas VIII F bertujuan untuk menganalisa kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik dalam mengerjakan soal literasi matematis ditinjau dari inventori gaya belajar. Popoluasi pada penelitian berjumlah 27 peserta didik. Alat instrumen tess kemampuan komunikasi matematis, alat instrumen angkett gaya belajar LSI, dan pedomaan tanya jawab yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas sehingga layak untuk diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Prosedur penelitian ini dimulai dari tahap persiapan, pengambilan data, dan analisis data. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar yang berbeda-beda memiliki kemampuan komunikasi yang beragam. Siswa diverger atas dan tengah mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan tiga indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Siswa diverger bawah belum mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan indikator menyatakan masalah atau peristiwa sehari-hari dalam model matematika. Siswa asimilator atas, tengah, dan bawah mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan tiga indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Siswa konverger atas dan tengah mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan tiga indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Siswa konverger bawah hanya mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan indikator menjelaskan ide atau solusi dari permasalahan matematika dalam bentuk gambar. Siswa accomodator atas dan tengah mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan tiga indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Siswa accomodator bawah belum mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan tiga indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing student worksheets based open ended problem on the topic of dividing whole numbers. The aim of this development is to produce feasible and effective student worksheets. The research method used is research and development with the ASSURE development model. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and tests. The subjects of this research were 29 class III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. The research results showed that the media expert's score was 3.75 (very valid), the language expert's score was 3.44 (very valid), and the material expert's score was 3.56 (very valid). Based on the test scores for problem solving ability for dividing whole numbers, average results were obtained pretest 55.38 and posttest 70.14 there is an increase of 0.30 with moderate criteria. As well as from test results paired sample t-test obtained sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that open-ended problem-based student worksheets media is declared effective in improving students' problem-solving abilities. So that student worksheets media is based open ended problem This has met the valid and effective criteria so it can be used in the learning process. Abstract

Abstract: This study investigates the effect of students' mathematical dispositions on elementary school students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. The existing problems are related to low critical thinking skills and poor mathematical disposition of students, including low curiosity, low ability to ask questions during the mathematics learning, and poor ability to provide logical reasons for communicating ideas. This research was quasi-experimental, where the participants in this study amounted to 49 5th-grade students in two integrated Islamic elementary schools in Cirebon City, Indonesia. Data was collected through a questionnaire of students' mathematical disposition and a test of mathematical critical thinking ability. The data analysis employed descriptive statistical analysis and simple regression analysis. The research found that the students' mathematical disposition significantly affects elementary school students' mathematical critical thinking ability. The significance value is significant (sig. 0.000 <0.05) with a correlation coefficient of 0.597. The results also reveal that students with a high level of mathematical disposition perform better in mathematical critical thinking ability than students with medium and low mathematical dispositions. So, it can be concluded that the mathematical disposition influences students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh disposisi matematis siswa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan adanya permasalahan terkait rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan disposisi matematis siswa yang kurang baik, seperti rasa ingin tahu yang rendah, kemampuan bertanya ketika proses belajar matematika yang rendah serta kemampuan memberikan alasan yang logis dalam mengkomunikasikan ide-ide yang kurang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 49 siswa kelas 5 di 2 (dua) sekolah dasar Islam terpadu di Kota Cirebon, Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket disposisi matematis dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Sementara itu, data hasil penelitian dianalisis melalui analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disposisi matematis siswa berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa sekolah dasar. Nilai signifikansinya sebesar sig. 0.000 < 0.05 dengan koefisien korelasi 0.597. Hasil penelitian juga mengungkapkan bahwa siswa yang memiliki level disposisi matematis tinggi, kemampuan berpikir kritis matematisnya lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki level disposisi matematis sedang dan rendah. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa disposisi matematis berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa.
