Abstract

The etiquette and appearance of the waiter are an important part in improving the hotel's image. The ethical standards and appearance standards that must be applied by every restaurant waiter. This study aims to determine the ethical implementation and appearance of restaurant waiters at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in the study were interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants involved in this study were Mr. Iwan as manager of the food & beverage service department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru, Mrs. Indah as captain waiter the food & beverage service department at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the research on Ethics and Appearance of Restaurant Waiters at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru, it was considered quite good where every waiter had implemented ethical standards and appearance standards well. Of course, in the application of good ethics and appearance, there are waiters who have not applied these standards well, but this can be overcome by evaluating so that the ethics and appearance of the waiters at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru can be applied better. Abstract

Management of tourist objects is something that must be considered properly so as not to disappoint visitors who come. This research was conducted at the Kampoeng Rabbit's tourist attraction, Pekanbaru City. The Kampoeng Rabbit's tourism object in Pekanbaru City is an education-based tourist attraction about the first rabbit in Pekanbaru City. The management of Kampoeng Rabbit's tourism object in Pekanbaru City consists of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. This study aims to determine the management of the Kampoeng Rabbit's tourist attraction, the existing obstacles and the management's efforts to overcome the obstacles that exist in the Kampoeng Rabbit's tourist attraction. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation with data collection techniques through key informant purposive sampling. This study describes the general description of the Kampoeng Rabbit's tourist attraction in Pekanbaru City and how to manage the Kampoeng Rabbit's tourist attraction, the obstacles and how the efforts made by the manager in overcoming the obstacles that exist in the Kampoeng Rabbit's tourist attraction. Keywords: Management, Tourism Objects, Educational Tourism.

Abstract

The level of financial health is the most important thing in the sustainability of a business entity, this is the background of this research. Good financial performance is the main factor in determining the level of health. This step was taken by the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Rantau Panjang Cemerlang. This study aims to determine and analyze financial performance in measuring the level of health in Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Rantau Panjang Cemerlang for the period 2017-2021. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative. The data analysis technique used is financial ratios. The ratios used in this study include liquidity ratios ( current ratio, quick ratio and cash ratio), solvency ratios ( debt to asset ratio and debt to equity ratio), activity ratios ( inventory turnover, working capital turnover and total asset turnover),and profitability ratios (gross profit margin, net profit margin, return on investment and return on equity). The results of this study indicate that the level of BUMDes liquidity is very large (overliquid). The level of solvency is very large, so the risk of BUMDes is also very large. The level of activity of BUMDes is not good and the level of profitability of BUMDes is also in poor condition. Keywords: BUMDes; Financial Performance; Financial Ratios and Health Level.

Abstract

The existence of this research is intended to be able to find out how the performance of room attendant employees on the satisfaction of guests staying at Mutiara Merdeka Hotel Pekanbaru. In this research, the writer uses quantitative descriptive method. Questionnaires were distributed by 100 respondents, while the technique of data collection for this study used observations, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that respondents assess the performance of room attendant employees at Mutiara Merdeka Hotel Pekanbaru to get satisfied results. It can be seen from the average results of each service indicator variable to guests (52.05%), cleanliness indicator (52.6%), facilities indicator (53.4%), expectation conformity indicator (52.6%), indicator of interest in revisiting (52.06%) and indicator of willingness to recommend (51.2%). It can be concluded that the performance of room attendants to guests is quite good. Thus the performance of the room attendant employees provided by Mutiara Merdeka Hotel Pekanbaru so that it can be further improved. Keywords: employee performance, room attendant, hotel

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital ang capitar structure on profitability in food and beverage sub-sector companies on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. In this atudy using quantitative descriptive data types. The data source used is secondary data using financial statement data food and baverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015-2019 period using the purposive sampling method. Thi study uses 6 companies as samples. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. Besides that, the data noemality test and classica assumption tsest were also carried out. Based on the results of the t-test conducted, it shows that working capital has no effect on profitability ang capital structure has an effects profitability. And the f-test results show that simultaneously working capital and capital structure affect the profitability of food and baverage companies listed on the IDX. With an R Square value of 0.329, it means that 32,9 % of profitability is influenced by working capital and capital structure, while the rest is influenced by oter variables. Abstract

Hotel Grand Jatra Pekanbaru is a five-star hotel located at Jalan Tengku Zainal Abidin No. 1 Pekanbaru Mall Complex, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the room boy in the housekeeping department at the Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru by using a mixed method with a descriptive approach. Respondents were set at 10 hotel guests. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, documentation and observation. With this research, it is shown that the performance criteria factors that affect the performance of rooms at the Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru are the quality of work, quantity of work, supervision, attendance or employee discipline and conservation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital and receivables management on profitability in pulp and paper sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Working capital management as an independent variable uses the working capital turnover ratio, and receivables as an independent variable using the receivable turnover ratio (RTO). Profitability as the dependent variable uses the ratio of return on assets (ROA). The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique and obtained as many as 7 companies. The data in this study uses secondary data and financial statements. The data analysis used is using financial ratios and multiple linear regression with SPSS 24. The results of this study indicate that working capital management has no effect on profitability, accounts receivable has no effect on profitability, and the simultaneous test (f test) shows the effect of working capital and accounts receivable management variables on profitability in pulp and paper sub-sector companies listed on the Stock Exchange. Abstract

This study aims to test partially and simultaneously the effect of growth opportunity and firm size on firm value. Where the independent variables in this study are growth opportunity and company size while the dependent variable is the value of the company. The sample used is secondary data derived from the financial statements of pulp and paper companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2011 to 2015.This study uses secondary data from the company's financial statements. Sampling uses purposive sampling method. Data analysis using simple and multiple linear regression analysis, test coefficient of determination, t test and F test with SPSS 20.The results of this study indicate that the growth opportunity variable does not affect the firm value and the variable size of the company does not affect the firm value of pulp and paper companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The simultaneous test results (F test) show no influence of growth opportunity and firm size variables on firm value in pulp and paper companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.Keywords: Growth Opportunity, Company Size, Company Value

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Sidamanik Tea Plantation Unit, North Sumatra Province, with the problem in the research, namely the decline in the company's ability to obtain profitability. The purpose of this study was to knowing and analyze the management of working capital in increasing company profitability. The types and sources of data used are secondary data originating from the financial statements of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Sidamanik Tea Plantation Unit for the period 2017-2021. The data collection technique used the method of financial statement documentation, in this research using the type of quantitative descriptive data, while the data analysis technique used by the author in this study was ratio analysis. The ratios used in this study include activity ratios (total asset turnover and working capital turnover), liquidity ratios (current ratio, quick ratio, and current ratio) and profitability ratios (net profit margin, return on assets, and return on equity). . The results showed the results of the calculation of the ratio at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Sidamanik Tea Plantation Unit, namely the activity ratio shows that the total asset turnover and working capital turnover fluctuated. The liquidity ratio in the current ratio and quick ratio has increased and the cash ratio has fluctuated. The profitability ratio shows that the net profit margin, return on assets, and return on equity have fluctuated during the last five years. Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of tourists to Hapanasan Hot Water, Rokan Hulu Regency and to know the tourist attraction of Hapanasan Hot Water in Rokan Hulu Regency.  This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach to describe and explain the situation that occurs by collecting data and information in the field.  In this study, the data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires and documentation.  Based on the results of the questionnaire, it shows that the response of visitors to the Hapanasan Hot Spring Tourism Destination in Rokan Hulu Regency is good, where the concepts used are Destination Attractions, Destination Facilities, Accessibility, Image, and Price.  The tourism response at Hapanasan Hot Spring in Rokan Hulu Regency in the sub-variable of destination attractions, destination facilities, accessibility is considered good by visitors who have visited Hapanasan Hot Springs, while for the Image sub-variable it is considered quite good by visitors who have visited Hot Water  Hapanasan and the last is the price sub-variable which is considered poor by visitors who have visited Hapanasan Hot Spring.Key words : Responses, Visitors and Appeal
