Abstract

Grand Elite Hotel Pekanbaru which is located on Jl. Riau is one of the 4-star hotels that are in great demand by guests for the purpose of staying or holding event meetings. At Grand Elite Hotel Pekanbaru, there is a pastry section that provides various kinds of cakes for guest companions at breakfast and also serves as a coffee break during event meetings. This pastry section always produces cakes that are delicious and attractive in appearance to be served, this is supported by good processing and storage from the pastry staff at Grand Elite Hotel Pekanbaru. Therefore, storage must always be considered and supervised by the pastry chef so that there is no material damage that results in reduced quality of the resulting product. This study was conducted to determine the supervision of parstock storage by pastry chefs at Grand Elite Hotel Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data obtained from in-depth interviews with pastry chefs, executive chefs as well as direct observation and documentation. Then the data obtained were analyzed to obtain conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the pastry chef must supervise the work of other employees in storing ingredients Keywords : Hotel,Storage,Parstock,Pastry

Abstract

Roomboy can be analogized as the spearhead of a hotel because of its role in cleaning room equipments for the sake of creating comfort in the hotel room. This research was conducted at the Grand Bunda Hotel which is a type of sharia hotel under the patronage of PT. Bunda Empat Pilar. This research aims to find out how Roomboy in cleaning Grand Bunda Bukittinggi hotel rooms in the Housekeeping Department with 2 (two) roomboys as the key informant. This research uses descriptive, qualitative methods, by which researchers describe the existing circumtances on the hotel to collect data and information, thereby using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results found in the research are that the implementation of roomboy services in cleaning hotel rooms can be categorized as good, but there are still some roomboys who are rather not attentive in cleaning the corners of hotel rooms. Abstract

Hotel Bono Pekanbaru is one of the four-star hotels located in Pekanbaru. Good management is needed so that operations run smoothly, especially the management of linen. linen used in hotel operations. Linen is an important component in every hotel that can provide comfort to guests but can also provide negative things that often cause guest complaints. This study aims to determine the management and rotation system room linen the housekeeping department at Hotel Bono Pekanbaru, constraints and efforts to deal with existing problems. In collecting data the author uses descriptive qualitative methods, with an analysis process based on data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Overall it is known that the linen management at the Bono Pekanbaru hotel is quite good but there are several things that cause problems with linen management. such as a lack of linen supplies. The conclusion from this study is that the room linen housekeeping department in Hotel Bono Pekanbaru can be categorized as good, but there are still many shortages of linen, so that many types of linen cannot be rotated with ideal flow. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the financial statements to measure the financial performance in Usaha Ekonomi Kelurahan-Simpan Pinjam (UEK-SP) Rumbai Pesisir, Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at UEK-SP Lembah Sari Makmur and UEK-SP Mitra Bersama Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis by analyzing financial ratios. The results of this study indicate that the ability to generate profits and the ability to manage working capital of the Savings and Loans Unit (USP) of both Lembah Sari Makmur and Mitra Bersama are better than their Kelurahan Economic Enterprises (UEK). This is due to the limited working capital of the savings and loan business unit, thus requiring the sub-district government to increase the working capital of the savings and loan unit, for example by setting aside profits from the UEK to increase the working capital of the savings and loan unit. Abstract

This research is about motivation of employees in performing front office services at Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru. This research aims to (1) find out the factors that affect employee work motivation in performing front office services at Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru. (2) To find out efforts that can be made by the company in increasing the motivation and productivity of employees' work in performing front office services at Tjokro Hotel Pekanbaru The sample in this study amounted to 6 people using census sampling techniques. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods to group data and then neatly arranged using frequencies. And for data collection techniques in this study using interviews and questionnaires. By using the likert scale as a measuring instrument. Based on the results of research obtained on motivation of employees work in performing front office services at tjokro hotel pekanbaru is in the good category. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of the financial performance of State-Owned Corporation (SOE) Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2015-2020 period. In its application, the researcher used the CAMEL method through the ratios of CAR, KAP, NPM, ROA, BOPO, and LDR, and found out the evaluation results of the CAMEL method to assess the soundness of a bank during the 2015-2020 period by the provisions of SE BI No.6/23/DPNP in 2004. The object of this study is data from SOE Banks for 2014-2020 obtained from the website www.idx.co.id and the website of each bank. The results showed that the health level of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) and Bank Mandiri were in the healthy predicate, while Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) and Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) were in the fairly healthy predicate. Abstract

Hotel is one type of accommodation that uses part or all of the building to provide lodging, eating and drinking services and other services that are managed commercially. One of the business sectors that has been severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic is the hotel business. Because during the corona virus outbreak, avoiding traveling or leaving the house, the increasing number of infections has made many people think twice about traveling far. Like it or not, hoteliers have to rack their brains on how to keep their business breathing in the midst of a pandemic. A hotel certainly has a department that has a big role, one of which is the Front Office Department. The operator is one of the sections in the hotel's front office. Telephone facilities at the hotel are the main key as business support. Therefore, the handling of communication systems and services in hotels is carried out by a special section known as telephone operator who must be able to uphold the hotel's image and contribute to improving the hotel's image in the eyes of guests which can be started from telephone conversations. The purpose of this study was to find out how the operator's role at Hotel Grand Central Pekanbaru. In writing this paper, the author uses qualitative data analysis techniques, namely analyzing the situation from various data collected in the form of results from interviews and observations about the problems studied that occur in the field. Keywords: Hotel, Front Office, Operator

Abstract

The world of tourism is one of the national assets with great potential if tourism resources can be optimized properly. tourism can classified as one of the secondary needs for humans if their primary needs have been reached, to carry out tourism activities humans will pay attention to aspects of facilities, management systems, and a comfort of a tourist attraction. In the city of Pekanbaru has many tourist attractions which one is Alam Mayang tourist park, but for now that park has been limited for public due to the spread of the covid-19 virus so that it makes parties tourism has changed some of management systems to avoid transmission of the virus Covid-19, which are by implementing appropriate health protocols government policy. Therefore, this study purpose to identified the condition of the Alam Mayang tourist attraction facilities, the management's efforts in managing the facilities in the Alam Mayang tourist park as well and to know about obstacles are faced by managers in managing facilities at the Alam Mayang tourist attraction. In this study, the authors using qualitative methods as a procedure for processing data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation of the owner as well as the manager of the tourist attraction, after the interviews with informants, the author's conclude that the facilities at the Alam Mayang tourist attraction has been managed well and the implementation of health protocols has been implemented perfectly , but the flaw is this park has lack of children's playgrounds. Abstract

The Laundry Department is one of the departments in the hotel that is responsible for washing, both washing guest clothes (laundry, dry cleaning and pressing), employee uniforms and hotel linens (house laundry) and washing clothes or linen from outside the hotel (outside laundry). . Therefore, the laundry must cooperate with other departments at the hotel. This study aims to determine the cooperation of the laundry section with other departments, the constraints and efforts made at the Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, and interviews with laundry managers, laundry supervisors and laundry employees at Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru. After conducting interviews with resource persons, the authors conclude that laundry cooperation with other departments is quite good, because the laundry staff have implemented in accordance with the directions set by the laundry manager. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of asset growth and sales growth on profitability. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach which is analyzed using statistical-based partial and multiple regression analysis. The population of the study are retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 – 2019 as many as 8 companies. The results of this study are asset growth has a positive and significant effect on profitability and sales growth has a significant effect on profitability. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with F test and t test. Based on the results of the F test, it is known that the significance value is less than 0.05, which is 0.000, this indicates that the independent variables of asset growth and sales growth simultaneously have a significant effect on profitability. Based on the results of the T test, there is a significant effect of the sales growth variable (X2) on profitability (Y), which is 4.183.
