Abstract

ABSTRACT Pekanbaru has the opportunity to become a leading destination that can be further developed, because since 2019 and 2022 tourists have continued to increase coming to the city of Pekanbaru. There are also many tourist objects in the city of Pekanbaru, one of which is in the Rumbai sub-district, the Rumbai Coastal Artificial Lake Tourism Object in Pekanbaru City. This study aims to determine the Quality of Tour Guide Services at the Rumbai Coastal Artificial Lake Tourism Object in Pekanbaru City, based on the research that has been done, this research uses a qualitative method. The subject of this research is the Tourism Object of the Coastal Rumbai Artificial Lake in Pekanbaru City. Data collection was carried out by means of documentation studies, observations, interviews, questionnaires and documents. The results showed that the quality of the Artificial Lake Rumbai Coastal Tourism Object in Pekanbaru City is 4, namely: Assurance, Responsiveness, Reliability and Empathy owned by the Artificial Lake Tourism Object are in a pretty good category. Abstract

ABSTRACT Apart from having to have good food quality, the application of hygiene in the field of food and beverage products must of course be applied to kitchen employees. Personal hygiene for good workers is one of the important things needed to keep food products safe from bacterial contamination. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects in this study were all Food and Beverage Product employees, totaling 20 people consisting of: Executive Chef, Jr. Sous Chef, Demi Chef, Chef De Partie, Cook, and Cook Helper who are involved in and related to procedures for implementing personal hygiene kitchen crew for Food and Beverage Products at Labersa Toba Hotel and Convention Center Balige. Then, the method of data collection is Observation, Interview, and Documentation. The results showed that the Implementation of Kitchen Crew Personal Hygiene in Food and Beverage Products at the Labersa Toba Hotel and Convention Center Balige had been implemented quite well and was in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures that had been made by the hotel. However, there are still a number of Kitchen Crews who have not complied with and implemented the Standard Operating Procedures that have been made by the Hotel as they should. Abstract

ABSTRACT The implementation of promotions from the Travel Agent is to motivate as many pThe implementation of promotions from the Travel Bureau is to motivate as many people as possible to make purchases of sales products as well as to highlight the company's various products and attract public attention to the company's services. This research aims to find out the promotions carried out by PT Jaya Utama Wisata Tour & Travel so that they can develop and advance in achieving the target market and to find out the obstacles or obstacles in selling sales products. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe and display the existing conditions at a research site by collecting data and information obtained directly from the field. The key informants in this study are the Main Director, Staff and Customers from PT. Jaya Utama Wisata Tour & Travel. In this study, the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. From this research it can be seen that the promotion of services carried out by PT. Jaya Utama Wisata Tour & Travel is advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, direct marketing, public relations and word of mouth. Of all the promotions carried out, word of mouth is the promotion that has the most influence on product sales and purchases. Abstract

ABSTRACT Execution of tasks is a way or steps so that the implementation of work is easy and smooth. In a hotel it is very important to pay attention to the processor for carrying out the laundry section tasks that will be carried out. This study aims to find out how important the attention of hotel management is in carrying out laundry section duties, SOP for washing and servicing hotel guest clothes aand guest clothing services taken from sources processed by the author (2022) in the laundry section housekeeping department The Zuri Hotel Dumai. Data collected using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Based on the research, it was found from the interview results that the implementation of the laundry section duties in the housekeeping department at The Zuri Hotel Dumai can be said to be quite good because there are still those who do not or are not in accordance with predetermined procedures. Abstract

Hotel is one of the tourism industry businesses that prioritizes professional service. The quality of appropriate facilities and services is the main thing that is seen by guests who stay. Therefore, every hotel property always updates the service standards and existing facilities. With this, guests who stay overnight will not give complaints. HARRIS Resort Waterfront Batam is a 4-star hotel that always provides innovation and the best service. Harris Café is part of the HARRIS Resort Waterfront Batam which is under the auspices of the Food and Beverage service department which is one of the parts that play a role in providing services. Harris Café is a part that cannot be separated from guest complaints. This is due to the lack of responsiveness of the waiter to the problems experienced by guests. By using the 4 indicators Hear Them out, Empathize, apologize, and Taking proper action and follow up the waiter is expected to be able to handle guest complaints using these indicators. The results of the study show that the waiter has implemented the HEAT method by listening carefully to guest complaints, and empathizing with what the guest is experiencing. The waitress also apologizes and takes further action in handling the guest's complaint. Keywords: Complaints, Waiters

Abstract

Hotel is a company engaged in the field of services or services and uses part or all of the building to provide lodging, food and beverage services and other supporting services. Hotels are also one of the facilities that can support the progress of tourism in a place. Especially the hotel industry in the Riau Archipelago Province, namely Batam City. Batam City has star hotels, one of which is a four-star hotel, Harris Hotel Batam Center. Harris Hotel Batam Center has physical facilities, one of which is a restaurant, where as is known the second largest revenue in a hotel comes from selling food and beverages operating in a restaurant. A good restaurant does not only provide food and drinks but also must have a proper standard of tableware, complete with equipment such as Chinaware, Silverware, Glassware, Linen and Furniture. Without standard equipment completeness in a restaurant, it will hinder operational activities in it. Therefore, a restaurant needs to improve the standard of completeness of the equipment in it and can help the production process properly and correctly. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the completeness of Harris Café restaurant equipment is standard. This study uses qualitative methods to analyze problems based on data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research that has been done, for the whole of the results of the interviews and observation of the documentation, it is said that the standard of completeness of equipment at the Harris Café restaurant is in accordance with the standard of completeness of restaurant equipment. Abstract

Making an Umrah package requires planning, this planning involves calculations, considerations and estimates. In preparing an Umrah package plan, an interesting object must be selected as an attraction to encourage buyers of the Umrah package. This study aims to determine the stages of Umrah package planning at PT. Penjuru Wisata Negeri in Pekanbaru. From this research it can be seen that the planning factors carried out by PT. Penjuru Wisata Negeri are the purpose of the trip, prepared destinations, length of stay, costumer budget, accomodataion desired, travel documents. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe and display the existing conditions at a research site by collecting data and information obtained directly from the field. The key informants in this study are Operational Managers, Branch Managers, Administrative Staff. Data collection techniques used are literature studies, interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that planning factors are still an obstacle for PT. Penjuru Wisata Negeri is a costumer budget factor. This is due to differences in accommodation and transportation rates after the Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: planning, umrah packages, travel.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to get to know the tourist facilities in the Sianok canyon tourist destination, Guguk Panjang sub-district, Bukittinggi city, West Sumatra. Main facilities, Supporting Facilities and supporting facilities. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe and explain the situation that occurs by collecting data and information in the field. The key informants in this study were the Ngarai Sianok Pokdarwis Management, the Head of RT Ngarai Sianok and Visitors. In this study, the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the condition of the facilities available at the Sianok Canyon Tourism Object is quite good, however there are several facilities that are not optimally maintained due to the lack of managed facilities and lack of maintenance related to cleanliness from the manager such as canteens, toilets, prayer rooms and information centers. Abstract

ABSTRACT The working mechanism is a work procedure that has been determined with the aim of making it easier to work on and have the same work result in accordance with a predetermined barometer. In a hotel, housekeeping plays an important role in maintaining the hotel’s reputation, especially room attendants because hotels are synonymous with rooms that are kept clean, comfortable, beauty of rooms are important values for a guest who wants to stay. This study aims to find out the arrangement of work mechanism by management, the operational procedures of a room attendant in making and maintaining a room (make up room) starting with the preparation of the room attendant before starting work (Preparation), priority of makeup room, make up room procedure, and criteria the result of good room attendant work, and room attendant constraints in working with references, namely the book from Rumekso (2002) in the Housekeeping Departement of The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru. All the data needed for the authors were collected by observation, interviews and documentations techniques. Based on the results of research on the working mechanism of room attendants at The Zuri Hotel Pekanbaru it is said to be good because there are things that are very systematically planned but there are things that are still being improved for management with predetermined procedures. Abstract

The Tourism Object of Lake Timbang Bunga Pengantin is a tourist destination located in Sungai Sorik Village, Kuantan Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The lake which has an area of 15 hectares is managed by BUMDES Aur Kuning in the form of a langang by the government of Sungai Sorik Village. In its management, BUMDES has several problems, namely in planning the lack of local community participation, promotions that are still only micro, insufficient budget, and the existence of the Covid-19 pandemic which has forced several events to be stopped. The purpose of this study is to determine the management of sustainable tourism on Lake Timbang Bunga Bride in Sungai Sorik Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency, as well as the inhibiting factors and supporting factors for sustainable tourism on the Lake Timbang Bunga Pengantin in Sungai Sorik Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The theoretical concept used in this study is the concept of Sustainable Tourism and 1 Made Adi Kampama 2017. The method used by researchers in this study is qualitative, and researchers conduct interviews, observations, and documentation in carrying out data collection techniques. The results obtained in this study are that the management carried out by BUMDES Aur Kuning has carried out performance according to the indicators set by the researchers, but in some cases there are still obstacles experienced by BUMDES, so that the management carried out is still not optimal.
