Abstract

This research aims to explore the process of internalizing mardhatillah values in shaping students' character at SD IT Alam Garut. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving school principals, teachers, students, and parents. The findings reveal that the internalization process takes place through exemplary behavior by teachers, consistent religious routines, integration of values into the curriculum, and the establishment of a value-based school culture. Students exhibit positive character traits such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and empathy, which are rooted in spiritual awareness. However, challenges arise in sustaining these values outside the school due to limited parental involvement and inconsistent reinforcement at home. The school leadership plays a crucial role in ensuring that the vision of mardhatillah remains the foundation of educational programs and institutional policies. Overall, the internalization of mardhatillah values at SD IT Alam Garut contributes effectively to the development of students’ character, although it requires stronger synergy between school and family to maintain consistency in students’ moral behavior across contexts. Abstract

Effective Islamic education management necessitates a robust theological foundation to ensure that institutional practices remain aligned with the core principles of Islam. A comprehensive theological understanding not only guides the formulation of educational policies and strategic directions but also shapes the underlying values, ethics, and objectives of Islamic education. Employing a conceptual framework and literature review methodology, this study critically examines Islamic theological sources, scholarly documents, and prior empirical research related to educational management. The analysis highlights that the principles of tauhid (divine unity), akhlaq (ethical conduct), and sharia (Islamic law) constitute the fundamental pillars of management within Islamic educational institutions. These theological tenets influence key managerial functions, including curriculum development, character formation, human resource management, and administrative governance. Integrating these values into management practices not only ensures coherence with Islamic teachings but also enhances educational quality, teacher professionalism, and stakeholder trust. The study underscores the imperative of embedding theological values as a strategic framework for achieving holistic and sustainable Islamic education.

Abstract

Initiatives to advance fairness and inclusion in educational systems should be founded on an examination of specific settings. This article presents a framework that is founded on research and may be applied to such contextual studies. This piece is a qualitative approach and is presented descriptively. The school principal, teachers, and students in inclusive schools served as the study's primary sources. Students cited supportive relationships, positive teacher beliefs, positive school leader attitudes, supportive teaching practices, and accessibility as five aspects that encourage inclusive education. The findings reveal a variety of barriers and challenges in educational settings, including a lack of teacher preparation that is necessary to meet the needs of all students, the recognition that student diversity is a challenge, physical barriers, underutilization of available resources, and an educational response devoid of organizational and didactic strategies that do not assume responsibility for a fair and inclusive curriculum for all students. It is clear that Islamic character education requires constant habituation and intervention, refuted and carried out consciously by each component. The need for continued professional development and opportunities to improve pre-service teacher education programs are explored.

Abstract

This study investigates how integrating Islamic educational values with knowledge management and Project-Based Learning (PjBL) can strengthen students’ creative thinking in the Industrial 4.0 era. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on Borg and Gall, the research used a quantitative method across five senior high schools in West Java with 316 student participants. Data were collected using validated questionnaires (Cronbach’s α = .944) and analyzed using descriptive statistics and ANOVA in SPSS 21. The results reveal that PjBL integrated with Islamic values—such as ihsan (excellence), amanah (responsibility), and istiqamah (steadfastness)—effectively improves students’ creative thinking skills. No significant differences were found among the schools, indicating consistent model effectiveness. This study emphasizes that combining Islamic values with modern pedagogical and knowledge management strategies prepares students for the challenges of the Industrial 4.0 era while nurturing moral and intellectual excellence.
