Abstract

This study aims to systematically map the trends, themes, and conceptual developments in research examining the influence of business phrases on the effectiveness of digital marketing communication over the period 2015–2025. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach was employed following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. A total of 366 articles were initially identified from major academic databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, Taylor & Francis, and SpringerLink. After a rigorous screening and eligibility process, 41 articles were selected for in-depth analysis. The findings reveal a significant increase in scholarly attention to the integration of business linguistics and digital communication, particularly after 2020. Bibliometric and thematic analyses identify four dominant research themes: (1) the pragmatic functions of business phrases in digital communication, (2) their influence on consumer perception, (3) their role in enhancing audience engagement, and (4) cross-cultural linguistic adaptation. The conceptual synthesis demonstrates that business phrases act as strategic linguistic elements that mediate the relationship between message construction and consumer behavior through cognitive and affective mechanisms. Furthermore, cross-cultural adaptation serves as a moderating factor influencing communication effectiveness. This study contributes theoretically by proposing an integrated conceptual model linking language, persuasion, and digital communication effectiveness. Practically, the findings provide valuable insights for practitioners in designing more persuasive, adaptive, and evidence-based digital marketing communication strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrating the digital design platform Canva into a technology-based learning system to support career preparation through curriculum vitae (CV) writing training. The background of this study is based on the importance of user performance in producing professional English digital CVs as part of the job recruitment process, where many users still face difficulties in terms of document structure, appropriate English usage, and systematic visual presentation. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest model involving 30 participants. The research procedure consisted of three stages: a pre-test to assess initial user performance, technology-based training through the use of the Canva platform, and a post-test to evaluate improvements in the quality of the generated output. Data were collected using a CV assessment rubric covering document structure, English language use, clarity of information, and visual design quality, as well as a questionnaire to measure user perceptions of the use of digital platforms. The results indicate a significant improvement across all assessment aspects, with the highest increase observed in visual design quality. In addition, users demonstrated highly positive perceptions of Canva, as it enhanced creativity, improved efficiency in document preparation, and enriched user interaction with the system. These findings suggest that the integration of digital design platforms contributes significantly to improving user output quality and the effectiveness of technology-based processes. Therefore, the use of digital platforms within learning systems can serve as an innovative approach to support the development of professional skills and career readiness in the digital era.

Abstract

Traditional markets in Central Lampung Regency play a vital role in supporting the local economy; however, the lack of spatial information and limited data accessibility remain major challenges in their management and utilization. This study aims to design and implement a WebGIS system to map traditional markets interactively, provide detailed market information, and support route navigation. The research employed a software engineering approach using the Waterfall model, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Data were collected through field surveys using GPS and supported by secondary documentation sources. The results indicate that the WebGIS application successfully displays an interactive market map, presents detailed information such as address, district, description, and photo documentation, and offers route navigation features. Both blackbox and whitebox testing confirmed that the system’s main functions run properly and meet user requirements. Therefore, the developed WebGIS effectively enhances accessibility to traditional market information while supporting local governments in data-driven decision-making.
