Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain (1) understanding of high school teachers related to the planning and implementation of learning tools with learning model Problem Based Learning and media reality, (2) display of teacher problems related to the implementation of high school teachers related to learning tools with Problem Based Learning model and reality media, (3) description of student's problem to result of learning on environmental pollution material. The result of observation of teacher and student problem analyzed by qualitative descriptive indicate that teacher's understanding related to Biology based learning model of Problem Based Learning and Media Reality is still very low so that its use in the learning process has not been running optimally, the teacher experiences obstacles in making learning tools include syllabus, RPP, Hand Out, and LKPD. Assessment shows a low percentage or less so that student learning outcomes are also low. Therefore it is necessary to develop biology learning tools with problem-based learning model and reality media to improve student learning outcomes.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh (1) gambaran pemahaman guru SMA terkait perencanaan dan pelaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan media realita, (2) gambaran permasalahan guru terkait pelaksanaan guru SMA terkait perangkat pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning dan media realita, (3) gambaran permasalahan siswa terhadap hasil belajar pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Hasil observasi permasalahan guru dan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriftif kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru terkait perangkat pembelajaran Biologi berbasis model Problem Based Learning dan Media Realita masih sangat rendah sehingga penggunaannya pada proses pembelajaran belum berjalan secara optimal, guru mengalami kendala dalam pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran meliputi silabus, RPP, handout, dan LKPD. Penilaian menunjukan persentase yang rendah atau kurang sehingga hasil belajar siswa juga rendah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangkan perangkat Pembelajaran Biologi dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan media realita untuk dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Discovery Learning merupakan model yang mengajak siswa belajar aktif menemukan sendiri pengetahuannya. Sedangkan Problem Based Learning merupakan model pembelajaran dimana siswa dituntut aktif untuk memperoleh konsep dengan cara memecahkan masalah Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Menganalisis hasil belajar geografi menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar geografi menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. (3) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar geografi menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning dan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (quasy-experiment) dengan dua kelas menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil belajar kelas XI IPS 1 dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 85,8 dan hasil belajar kelas XI IPS 2 dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 84,1, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran discovery learning dan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 17 Samarinda yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil nilai thitung sebesar 2,833 yang dimana ttabel yang didapat 1,671 dimana 2,833 > 1,671.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the suitability of the textbooks for XI grade high school students in Physics under curriculum 2013 program based on the criteria that refer to STRS, spesifically at the aspects of laboratory activities (2) describe the quality of textbooks for XI grade high school students, curriculum 2013 based on the criteria that refer to STRS, specifically in laboratory aspects. This study is a descriptive study with an evaluative approach that describes the contents of the book. This study describes the quality of the Physics textbook for XI grade students curriculum 2013 published by a private or non-BSE at the aspect of laboratory activities. To collect the data, the researcher used the STRS modified by Septiana Karumaningrum as the instrument. The results of this study indicated that (1) this book has a suitability level of 78% based on the criteria that refer to STRS, spesifically in the aspects of laboratory activities. (2) this book has a good quality (B) based on the criteria that refer to STRS, spesifically in laboratory aspects

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang efektif dapat memberdayakan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar, salah satunya pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model discovery learning berbasis proyek dengan media tour builder. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Long Ikis dan pengaruh model discovery learning berbasis proyek dengan media tour builder. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimental design. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kelas eksperimen diperoleh rata-rata nilai pre test 62,7 dan nilai post test 71,4 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai pre test 61,3 dan nilai post test 65,5. Hasil analisis data pengujian Independent Sample T-test data pretest dan posttest menunjukkan nilai signifikan 0,000 yang berarti < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sehingga adan pengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa SMA Negeri 1 Long Ikis setelah menggunakan model discovery learning berbasis proyek dengan menggunakan media tour builder pada mata pelajaran geografi. Sebagai pengajar hendaknya menjadikan model discovery learning berbasis proyek dengan media tour builder ini sebagai salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran yang bisa digunakan di kelas sesuai dengan topik dan konten pembelajaran tertentu yang relevan guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi.

Abstract

 AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic has directly changed the learning process in Indonesia, from offline-based learning to online-based learning. This study aims to determine the process and inhibiting factors of online learning carried out in class XI Social Sciences in the geography subject of Indonesian cultural diversity at SMAN 1 Muara Jawa. This study uses a qualitative approach, using interview techniques, observation and documentation in data collection. The research subjects consisted of one teacher of geography and five students of class XI IPS. The data analysis technique was carried out using the Miles and Hubberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of online learning has been carried out quite well, most of the students and teachers already have the basic facilities needed, it illustrates the readiness to implement online learning. In the implementation of online learning, the teacher has carried out lesson plans and has carried out learning well, namely using learning methods, learning media, strategies and learning approaches that are adapted to the character of students; The inhibiting factors in online learning carried out at SMA N 1 Muara Jawa class XI IPS include unstable network conditions and students' difficulties in understanding learning materials.AbstrakPandemi covid-19 secara langsung telah mengubah proses pembelajaran di Indonesia, dari proses pembelajaran berbasis luring menjadi pembelajaran berbasis daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan faktor penghambat pembelajaran daring yang dilaksanakan di kelas XI IPS pada mata pelajaran geografi materi keragaman budaya Indonesia di SMAN 1 Muara Jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara observasi dan dokumentasi dalam pengumpulan data. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari satu guru mata pelajaran geografi dan lima siswa kelas XI IPS. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Hubberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring sudah terlaksana cukup baik, sebagian besar peserta didik dan guru telah memiliki fasilitas dasar yang dibutuhkan, hal itu menggambarkan kesiapan pelaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring guru sudah melakukan perencanaan pembelajaran dan sudah melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan baik yaitu menggunakan metode pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, strategi dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan karakter peserta didik; Adapun faktor penghambat dalam pembelajaran daring yang dilaksanakan di SMA N 1 Muara Jawa kelas XI IPS diantaranya kondisi jaringan yang tidak stabil dan kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi dan industrialisasi, penulisan artikel ilmiah mengenai implementasi inovasi sains dan teknologi sangat penting diperkenalkan pada siswa SMA. Tujuan Pelatihan Implementasi Inovasi Sains dan Teknologi Melalui Artikel Ilmiah bagi Siswa SMA adalah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SMA terkait implementasi sains dan teknologi dalam artikel ilmiah. Pelatihan diselenggarakan sehari pada tanggal 29 Mei 2022 yang diikuti oleh 63 siswa dan 9 guru SMA sederajat di Kalimantan Timur dan Kalimantan Utara yang dilakukan secara daring. Tahapan yang dilakukan selama kegiatan pelatihan meliputi, pre-test, penyampaian materi terkait implementasi sains dan teknologi dalam artikel ilmiah, diskusi bersama best practice pemenang lomba LKTI Pekan Fisika XXII Tingkat SMA, dan post-test. Hasil uji N-Gain yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 0,15 yang mengindikasikan bahwa pemahaman siswa tentang topik yang disampaikan mengalami peningkatan setelah mengikuti kegiatan webinar meskipun berada dalam kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini dapat terlaksana sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah direncanakan dan kegiatan ini mampu memfasilitasi peningkatan pengetahuan siswa yang terlihat dari peningkatan hasil post-test 51% siswa.In the era of globalization and industrialization, writing scientific articles regarding the implementation of science and technology innovation is vital to be introduced to high school students. The aim of the Training on the Implementation of Science and Technology Innovation Through Scientific Articles for High School Students is to increase high school students' understanding regarding the implementation of science and technology in scientific articles. The training was held one day on May 29, 2022, and was attended by 63 students and 9 high school teachers in East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan, which was conducted online. The stages carried out during the training activities included a pre-test, delivery of material related to the implementation of science and technology in scientific articles, discussions with best practices winners of the scientific article writing competition at Pekan Fisika XXII, and a post-test. The N-Gain test result obtained was 0.15, which indicated that students' understanding of the topics presented had increased after participating in webinar activities even though they were in a low category. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that this activity could be carried out according to the planned schedule. This activity was able to facilitate an increase in students' knowledge, as seen from the increase in the post-test results of 51% of students.

Abstract

Self-efficacy intervention in curriculum design is an effort to improve the quality of teaching practice for pre-service teachers. This research aims to redefine how pre-service teachers' self-efficacy changes through Physics Learning and Microteaching courses. Interventions are given by designing lectures with mastery of knowledge, guidance, teaching experience, and reflection on teaching experience. The intervention carried out 32 meetings (with a total of 67 hours) in 1 semester. The data collection techniques used a questionnaire consisting of 18 statements and reasons for giving the score through pre-test, mid-test, and post-test. The participants were 51 students in teacher education institutions in Indonesia. The results show that integrating activities such as delivering information about PCK, guidance, and their experience in teaching increased their self-efficacy. Still, their self-efficacy decreased after the teaching experience and reflection on their experience. These results recommend that teaching practice reflection activities should not be the last resort in improving students' self-efficacy. Providing information, guidance, teaching practice, and reflection should become an iterative process, where self-reflection notes as a tool to enhance their performance deficiencies and self-efficacy can be improved

Abstract

Textbooks play an essential role in students’ learning process. In physics learning, the textbooks could facilitate the scientific learning process. This study aims to find out the feasibility of the contents of the book entitled Physics Student Book 1 for Grade X Senior High School written by Purwanto Budi and Azam Muchammad 2019 published by PT Wangsa Jatra Lestari. Analysis of the feasibility of the contents of the book in this study is reviewed from several aspects, namely aspects of content feasibility, aspects of language, aspects of presentation, and aspects of graphic that BSNP has adjusted. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research with check-list instrument as data collection tool. The analysis results in this study showed that in the aspect of content feasibility obtained a percentage of 80%, the linguistic aspect obtained a percentage of 78%, the presentation aspect obtained a percentage of 77%, and the aspect of graph obtained a percentage of 79%. These four aspects fall into the category of fulfilling, so the Physics Student Book 1 For Grade X Senior High School is worth to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the affective assessment of students in learning physics during the pandemic. This affective assessment is carried out by means of self assessment, which is an affective assessment carried out by students towards themselves as seen from the attitudes of students during physics learning. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire in the form of 20 questions with a Guttman scale distributed via google form. The population in the study were students from one of the Samarinda vocational high school with a total sample of 68 students in class X Heavy Equipment Engineeringand 2. The results showed that the affective assessment of students was included in the good category, the indicator received the percentage obtained was 87.50%, responding 82.72 %, value 76.47%, value conceptualization 77.20%, and value characterization 77.20%.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) berupa sosialisasi pembelajaran IPA berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) bagi guru bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan guru terkait pembelajaran berbasis AR. Target kegiatan PkM ini antara lain: (1) diikuti oleh minimal 30 guru bidang IPA dan (2) memperoleh respon sangat baik dari peserta atas kegiatan yang telah dilakukan. Kegiatan PkM dilakukan selama 8 JP pada 11 Maret 2023 melalui Zoom meeting dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 73 guru IPA. Metode PkM yaitu metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Materi-materi yang disajikan pada PkM tentang profesi guru, Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) dan Technological Pedagogical Content and Knowledge (TPACK), serta materi dan tutorial pembuatan media AR. Setelah kegiatan, peserta diminta kesediaannya untuk mengisi angket respon. Hasil analisis angket respon menunjukkan sebagian besar guru setuju bahwa kegiatan ini membuat guru dapat lebih memahami materi tentang PCK, TPACK, dan pembelajaran berbasis AR. Respon guru berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 85%. Guru sangat tertarik mengikuti PkM dan berharap akan ada kegiatan pelatihan lanjutan. Berdasarkan hasil ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan PkM dapat memenuhi target dalam hal penambahan pengetahuan guru terkait pembelajaran berbasis AR.
