Abstract

This research aims to test the effectiveness of applying the token economy technique in reducing academic procrastination in students. Using an experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, the research involved 30 students from the class of 2021 from a university in Malang who had a tendency towards high academic procrastination. Subjects were divided into an experimental group that received token economy technique treatment and a control group without treatment. Data was collected using the academic procrastination scale, observation and interviews. The results of analysis using the paired t test showed a significant decrease in the experimental group's academic procrastination score after treatment, while the control group experienced an increase in score. These findings confirm the effectiveness of token economy techniques in reducing academic procrastination, in line with the principle of positive reinforcement in operant conditioning theory. This research makes an important contribution to the development of interventions to address academic procrastination in higher education settings.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pola konflik keagamaan memiliki jenis yang meliputi isu penyebab konflik, pelaku, dan dampak dari konflik. Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan jawaban dari rumusan masalah yang diajukan,yaitu: 1). Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi konflik keagamaan antara tarekat wahidiyah dengan masyarakat Desa Golokan. 2). Untuk memahami terkait pola konflik keagamaan antara tarekat wahidiyah dengan masyarakat Desa Golokan. 3). Untuk memahami implikasi konflik keagamaan terkait tarekat wahidiyah dengan masyarakat Desa Golokan. Munculnya konflik agama di bantu dengan adanya pendekatan sosiologis. Teori yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi pola-pola konflik agama dan sosial adalah teori Louis Coser dan teori konflik etnis dari Jaques Jacques Bertrand. Masyarakat Desa Golokan memiliki kapasitas untuk merespon isu-isu penyebab konflik keagamaan dalam bentuk aksi-aksi damai.  Dengan adanya aksi tersebut mendorong masyarakat untuk mencegah timbulnya konflik yang sangat besar. Isu-isu yang mendorong terjadinya konflik diberbagai daerah bervariasi sehingga langkah-langkah penangananya juga perlu didesain sesuai dengan variasi isu konflik keagamaan masing-masing daerah tersebut. Masyarakat  Desa Golokan mempunyai beragam kepercayaan tarekat, di antaranya tarekat wahidiyah. Tarekat merupakan jalan. Tarekat yaitu suatu jalan menuju tingkatan untuk mencapai makrifat Allah (Mengenal Allah). Tarekat wahidiyah mempunyai  kegiatan yang sering dilakukan sehari-hari seperti memperbanyak membaca selawat-selawat seperti selawat badawiyah, selawat nariyah, selawat munjiyat, selawat masisiyah, dan sebagainya yang mana Jemaah pada masyarakat Desa Golokan melakukannya pada malam hari selepas salat isya hingga tengah malam. Adanya konflik muncul di sebabkan dari aktivitas yang dilakukan masyarakat golokan, aktivitas tersebut mengganggu ketenangan masyarakat Desa Golokan yang berada di sekitar tempat tersebut Kata Kunci: Konflik, Sosial, Agama, dan Tarekat Wahidiyah Abstract: The pattern of religious conflict has several types which include the issues of the causes of the conflict, the actors, and the impact of the conflict. This study uses a sociological approach to determine the social impact of the emergence of religious conflicts. The theory used to identify patterns of religious and social conflict is the theory of Louis Coser and the theory of ethnic conflict from Jacques Bertrand. The people of Golokan Village, has the capacity to respond to issues that cause religious conflicts in the form of peaceful actions. People to make peaceful action as the main option in order to prevent a bigger conflict from happening. The issues that lead to conflict in various regions vary widely so that the steps to deal with it also need to be designed according to the variety of religious conflict issues in each region. The residents of Golokan Village, have a community with various tarekat, including the tarekat wahidiyah. Tarekat is linguistically a way. In terms, tarekat is a way to get to the level to reach the makrifat of Allah (Knowing Allah). Tarekat Wahidiyah has the usual activity of doing activities to multiply reading salawat such as badawiyah salawat, nariyah salawat, munjiyat salawat, masisiyah salawat, and so on which the congregation in the Golokan village community of does at night after the evening prayer until midnight. The activities carried out by the tarekat wahidiyah in Golokan Village received a poor response. The problems that arise are due to the activities of the tarekat wahidiyah carrying out their teaching activities so that it disturbs the peace of the people of Golokan who are around the place. Abstract

The phenomena of globalization and modernity have had a significant impact on the development of science and education in the Muslim world, particularly through the dominance of a secular paradigm that separates rationality from spirituality. This situation has given rise to an epistemological crisis that has led to the fragmentation of knowledge and the emergence of intellectual and spiritual identity confusion. This study aims to examine the concepts of Islamization and the integration of science from the perspective of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, highlighting their theoretical and practical implications for Islamic education. The method used is qualitative with a literature study, through the stages of source identification, literature search, selection based on relevance criteria, recording and documentation, to data organization for further analysis. The analysis is carried out descriptively-analytically and critically-comparatively to find patterns of meaning that are in harmony with the Islamic worldview. The results of the study show that the Islamization of science is interpreted as an effort to liberate knowledge from the hegemony of Western secularism, while the integration of science emphasizes the importance of uniting religion, science, and ethics with tawhid as its main foundation. This concept affirms the position of adab as the core of education, while also offering alternatives in curriculum development, policy formulation, and strategies for empowering Muslims in facing the challenges of globalization. From a theoretical perspective, this research enriches the discourse on Islamic epistemology, while in practical terms it presents an applicable framework for education that is more contextual and oriented towards the formation of civilized human beings. Thus, these findings open up new opportunities in contemporary Islamic scientific studies, especially in formulating a holistic and transformative educational paradigm.

Abstract

This study examines fundamental concepts and implementation of library research methodology in educational contexts through systematic methodological review. Utilizing frameworks from Cooper, Hedges, and Valentine, the research analyzes theoretical foundations, systematic approaches, and practical applications of literature review methodology in education. Analysis reveals that library research has evolved from preliminary activity into sophisticated research methodology built upon constructivist epistemology and social constructivist frameworks. Key findings demonstrate three critical dimensions: robust theoretical foundations integrating multiple philosophical perspectives, systematic methodological frameworks ensuring comprehensiveness and rigor, and practical implementation strategies addressing complex educational research questions. The study identifies essential components including systematic search strategies, quality assessment procedures, technology integration, and collaborative approaches. Results indicate that effective implementation requires careful planning, strategic decision-making, and quality assurance procedures. This methodology enables educational researchers to bridge theory-practice gaps, inform evidence-based decision making, and advance educational knowledge systematically

Abstract

Palestina-Israel Merupakan kedua negara yang sampai detik ini masih terjadi konflik peperangan yang belum berakhir. Negara Israel yang mana berdiri pada tahun 1948, ketika Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) telah menyetujui terkait pendiriannya di tanah Palestina yang awalnya di bawah naungan Inggris. Problematika antara kedua negara yang dihadapi masyarakat Israel dengan masyarakat Palestina yaitu dalam memperebutkan otoritas tanah yang mana kedua belah pihak mengklaim memiliki hak yang sama atas tanah tersebut. Tanah tersebut dimaksudkan yaitu tanah suci. Tanah suci tersebut sangat mengandung nilai historis dan nilai keagamaan yang tinggi bagi umat Islam dan umat Yahudi. Karena tanah ini yang menjadi penyebab perebutan antara umat Yahudi dan umat Islam karena di atas itu berdiri masjid Al Aqsa yang menjadi kiblat  pertama umat Islam. Tepat di bawah masjid itu terdapat tembok ratapan yang sangat disakralkan oleh umat Yahudi. Artikel ini berusaha untuk melihat sejauh mana pengaruh kebijakan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) terhadap konflik Palestina-Israel yang mana sampai detik ini konflik Palestina Israel masih terus berlanjut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan (Library Research). Temuan dalam artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa otoritas Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) yang menjadi kewenangannya adalah untuk mendamaikan namun pada detik ini kedua negara masih dalam konflik. Sehingga artikel ini berusaha mengupayakan bagaimana pengaruh kebijakan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) dalam dua konflik negara tersebut. Tujuan pada penelitian ini ialah untul mengetahui pengeruh kebijakan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) dalam konflik Palestina-Israel Serta bisa melihatkan terkait kebijakan yang dimiliki Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) dalam menyelesaikan konflik Palestina-Israel. Jurnal ini juga bisa dijadikan sumber referensi bagi para penulis lainnya baik dalam bidang ilmu maupun yang ingin mengembangakan pengetahuan terhadap ilmu ini serta dalam ilmu hukum internasional jurnal ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi dan inspirasi baru untuk pengetahuan ilmu hukum internasional.

Abstract

College students often experience academic pressure stemming from performance demands, study load, and organizational activities, which can trigger stress and reduce academic mindfulness—the ability to be fully present during the learning process. Such pressure also hinders effective time management, thereby increasing mind-wandering and decreasing cognitive engagement. This study aimed to examine the effect of a shaping-based intervention targeting effective time management behaviors on the enhancement of academic mindfulness. The research employed a pre-test–post-test nonequivalent control group design involving 20 participants, consisting of 10 in the control group and 10 in the experimental group. The intervention was conducted in three sessions using shaping techniques through time blocking, self-reflection, and priority setting. Academic mindfulness was measured using an adapted version of the Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS) for the academic context. The results indicated a significant improvement in the experimental group compared to the control group (p = 0.009 0.05). These findings suggest that the shaping-based intervention effectively enhances academic mindfulness and has the potential to expand experimental psychology research as well as contribute to the development of campus-based psychological interventions aimed at improving students’ academic well-being KEY WORDS: time management; academic mindfulness; students; shaping; time blocking; behavior modification

Abstract

The tool for calculating prayer times continues to develop. Likewise, there are several different formulas for calculating prayer times, both with the addition of altitude correction and without altitude correction. This article uses the prayer time formula which takes into account altitude corrections into an application called Islamic Astro Time which uses Matlab programming with solar data from the astronomical algorithms formula by Jean Meeus. This article is an experimental qualitative with descriptive analysis. This article finds that the calculation of prayer times in the Islamic Astro Time application using varying altitude levels results in different times. The difference in results starts from 2 minutes at a building height of 250 meters to more than 2 minutes depending on the level of height. The higher the position of the person praying, the greater the difference between the start of the prayer and the lower place. So that every Muslim who wants to pray must pay attention to the altitude correction factor with the sun's position approaching the horizon, namely the time of dawn, late dawn (ṭulū'), maghrib, and evening prayers.

Abstract

This study constructs a Qur’anic Resilience Framework (QRF) by analyzing verses depicting the stories of the Prophets Ulul Azmi to reveal the psychological resilience rooted in Islamic spiritual values. Using a qualitative approach based on library research combined with focus group discussions involving experts in Qur’anic exegesis and Islamic psychology, this study develops a conceptual model of Qur’anic resilience. The main novelty lies in the integration of spiritual and cognitive dimensions—termed spiritual–cognitive resilience—which unites faith-based components (Ṣabr, Tawakkul,Riḍā, Rujā’) with reflective and adaptive actions (Al-Fikr, Al-‘Amal, Ṭsiqqah ‘Alā an-Nafs). This approach enriches modern psychological theories of resilience, which are predominantly secular, by adding a transcendental foundation grounded in tawhid. Theoretically, this research contributes to the development of Islamic psychology by presenting a conceptual framework of resilience deriving from Al-Qur'ān while reinforcing integrative methodologies between classical exegesis and empirical psychology. Practically, the findings offer implications for Al-Qur'ān-based mental health interventions, including Islamic counseling, spiritual guidance, and character education. Moreover, this study opens opportunities for developing measurement instruments and training programs on resilience grounded in Islamic spirituality, thereby strengthening the psychological well-being of Muslim communities.

Abstract

Fenomena cyberbullying merupakan salah satu tindakan agresif yang bertujuan untuk menyakiti orang lain melalui media elektronik. Perilaku ini dapat memberikan dampak yang buruk terhadap korban. Jika ditinjau pada lingkup yang lebih kecil maka fenomena ini juga terjadi di lingkungan sekolah, sebagaimana kasus yang terjadi di SMPI Singosari Malang. Perilaku cyberbullying ini juga dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah faktor keluarga. Faktor keluarga ini dapat bermacam-macam, salah satunya adalah faktor komunikasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat perilaku cyberbullying siswa serta untuk melihat masing-masing pengaruh pola komunikasi orang tua terhadap perilaku cyberbullying siswa SMPI Singosari Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMPI Singosari Malang yang ditentukan secara purposive yaitu sebanyak 207 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi orang tua yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku cyberbullying adalah pola konsensual, dengan r = 0,269, p = 0,026 (p<0,05). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi yang diberikan pola komunikasi konsensual terhadap perilaku cyberbullying siswa SMPI Singosari Malang sebesar 7,2% dengan hubungan negatif (Beta = -0,269).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami peran orang tua dalam mendampingi anak dengan Gangguan Kecemasan di RTB Pasuruan, dengan fokus pada pola asuh. Gangguan kecemasan merupakan kondisi di mana seseorang mengalami kecemasan dan ketakutan yang intens dan persisten, bahkan terhadap bahaya yang sebenarnya tidak ada atau berlebihan. Hal ini dapat mengganggu kehidupan sehari-hari penderitanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mempelajari lebih dalam tentang gangguan kecemasan. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Triangulasi metode diterapkan untuk memastikan validitas dan kredibilitas data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam mendampingi anak dengan gangguan kecemasan. Gangguan kecemasan pada anak dapat diatasi dengan pola asuh yang tepat dan dukungan profesional. Dalam kasus SH, gejala kecemasan yang semakin memburuk perlu ditangani oleh profesional kesehatan mental agar anak dapat pulih dan kembali menjalani hidup normal. This study aims to understand the role of parents in assisting children with Anxienty Disorders in RTB Pasuruan, with a focus on parenting. Anxiety disorders are conditions in which a person experiences intense and persistent anxiety and fear, even of dangers that do not actually exist or are excessive. This can interfere with the daily life of the sufferer. This research uses qualitative methods to learn more about anxiety disorders. The techniques used to collect data were observation, interview, and documentation. Triangulation of methods was applied to ensure the validity and credibility of the data obtained. The results showed that parents have an important role in assisting children with anxiety disorders. Anxiety disorders in children can be overcome with proper parenting and professional support. In the case of SH, worsening anxiety symptoms need to be treated by mental health professionals so that the child can recover and return to living a normal life.
