Abstract

In this era of increasing globalization, the business world is developing very rapidly, one of which is business in the culinary sector, the number of businesses emerging has resulted in an increase in the number of businesses of a similar nature, causing increasingly fierce competition. Business actors are required to be able to maintain the needs and desires of their customers. By understanding customer needs and desires, this will provide important input for the company. This research was carried out using quantitative methods, meaning that the research was carried out on certain representative populations and samples. The research results show that Service Quality (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Consumer Purchasing Decisions (Y). Price (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. Meanwhile, the results of the simultaneous test (F Test) in table 4.17 above, can be seen that the Fcount value is 188.868 where > from Ftable is 3.09 and the significance value is 0.000 which means <0.05. So it can be concluded that the independent variables (Service Quality and Price) simultaneously influence Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

In the era of the development of information and communication technology has brought significant changes in various sectors, including the transportation industry. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and price on customer satisfaction in using Gojek online transportation services, focusing on students of HKBP Nommensen University Medan. The method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to respondents. The results of the study indicate that Service Quality and Price significantly affect Service Satisfaction, this is shown in the results of the partial test (t test) T-count value (X1) 10.572> t table 1.985 significance value 0.000 <0.05 and the results of the partial test (t test) T-count value (X2) 18.148> t table 1.985 significance value 0.000 <0.05. The conclusion in this study is that Service Quality and Price have a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh inovasi pelayanan dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat di Kantor Kecamatan Medan Amplas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F, dan uji koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi pelayanan dan kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat. Secara simultan, kedua variabel ini juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap tingkat kepuasan masyarakat di Kecamatan Medan Amplas. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan inovasi dan kualitas pelayanan perlu terus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social adaptation and social support on culture shock experienced by Nias migrant students at HKBP Nommensen University Medan. The research employs a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. The sample consists of 82 students selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicate that social adaptation has a significant negative effect on culture shock, meaning that better social adaptation leads to lower levels of culture shock. Social support also has a significant negative effect on culture shock, showing that higher social support reduces culture shock levels. Simultaneously, social adaptation and social support significantly influence culture shock among Nias migrant students. This study is expected to provide insights for migrant students and educational institutions in supporting students' social adaptation processes.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the grant policy provided to religious organizations in South Nias Regency. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the policy has had a positive impact on social and religious programs; however, several weaknesses were identified, such as a lack of transparency, accountability, political interference, regional disparities, and limited oversight. The researcher recommends strengthening regulations, implementing objective selection processes, ensuring fair distribution, and developing participatory monitoring mechanisms to enhance the effectiveness and benefits of the policy for the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital tourism strategies implemented by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) on improving public service quality in Waterfront City Pangururan, Samosir Regency. The research is based on the strategic role of tourism as a driver of regional economic growth, particularly in Lake Toba, designated as a Super Priority Tourism Destination (SPTD). Although various digital tourism initiatives such as the #DiIndonesiaAja campaign, the Wonderful Indonesia application, and tourist village digitalization have been implemented, their effectiveness still faces challenges such as limited digital platform integration and insufficient digital competence among service personnel. This study employs a quantitative method with an associative approach, involving 99 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Primary data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that digital tourism strategies and public service quality are both categorized as good. Regression analysis confirms that digital tourism strategies have a positive and significant effect on public service quality. These findings highlight that optimizing technology, strengthening promotional content, and enhancing digital capacity of personnel can improve public service quality and strengthen destination competitiveness.

Abstract

The river and beach coasts in the Belawan area that are currently faced with waste problems not only cause environmental and health pollution, but also serious problems that have an impact on the regional economy. Pollution due to waste in the sea will indirectly threaten many things on earth. Including, threats to humans. As a result of indirect threats from waste in the sea, humans will feel the impact on the environment. Poor waste management also has an impact on the environment, causing the aesthetics of the environment to be less pleasing to the eye, for example, the large amount of scattered waste that disrupts the freshness of the air in the community environment. Regulators and operators as implementers of regulations must make good efforts so that waste management in the coastal areas of rivers and beaches in Belawan is carried out through community empowerment. Good waste management planning will provide socio-economic value to the community if followed by community empowerment. The formulation of the problem in this study is: how much direct influence does waste management planning have on the environment; the direct influence of waste management planning on empowerment; the direct influence of empowerment on the environment and the indirect influence of waste management planning on the environment through empowerment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent of the direct influence of waste management planning on the environment; direct influence of waste management planning on empowerment; direct influence of empowerment on the environment and indirect influence of waste management planning on the environment through empowerment. This study is a causal associative study with a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and confirmatory factor analysis, structural model analysis with hypothesis testing is carried out using the t-Value value with a significance level of 0.05.

Abstract

Di era digital, media sosial telah menjadi bagian integral dari kehidupan mahasiswa dan memainkan peran penting dalam memengaruhi keputusan pembelian mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media sosial terhadap keputusan pembelian mahasiswa Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan, dengan fokus pada aspek frekuensi penggunaan, pengaruh konten (influencer dan user-generated content), electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), dan fear of missing out (FOMO). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif dengan teknik survei melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,762 dan nilai R² sebesar 0,485. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa 48,5% variasi dalam keputusan pembelian dapat dijelaskan oleh penggunaan media sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi pelaku usaha untuk mengembangkan strategi pemasaran digital yang lebih efektif serta menekankan pentingnya literasi digital bagi mahasiswa dalam menghadapi arus promosi daring. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk memperluas ruang lingkup platform dan variabel demografis guna menghasilkan wawasan yang lebih menyeluruh.
