Abstract

Abstract

Employee productivity is a strategic factor that determines organizational competitiveness, particularly amid digital transformation and the evolving demands of the modern labor market. This study aims to examine the influence of soft skills and self-efficacy on employee productivity at PT Megahputra Sejahtera. Soft skills refer to non-technical abilities related to communication, collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving, while self-efficacy reflects an individual’s belief in their capability to accomplish tasks effectively. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 30 employees selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis included validity testing, reliability testing, and multiple regression to assess both partial and simultaneous effects. The findings indicate that soft skills and self-efficacy have a positive and significant influence on employee productivity. These results highlight that strengthening interpersonal competencies and work-related confidence not only enhances individual effectiveness but also contributes directly to organizational performance outcomes. The study recommends that the company implement structured soft-skills training programs and self-efficacy enhancement interventions through coaching and systematic feedback.

Abstract

This study analyzes the application of deep learning strategies in Indonesian History classes at three senior high schools of Labschool UHAMKA Jakarta and their contribution to fostering students’ historical consciousness. History education in Indonesia is still predominantly focused on memorization of historical facts such as dates, figures, and event chronologies, which often leads to a superficial and less reflective understanding of history. Therefore, this study aims to explore how deep learning strategies can enhance students' historical consciousness. Using a mixed-methods explanatory sequential design, data were gathered from 50 eleventh-grade social science students through questionnaires, supported by interviews with 12 students and 3 history teachers, and classroom observations. Indicators measured included reflective activities, primary source analysis, real-life relevance, and collaboration, while dimensions of historical consciousness covered chronological understanding, interpretation, continuity, and present relevance. Regression analysis showed a strong, positive, and significant relationship between deep learning strategies and historical consciousness (β = 0.62, p < 0.01). Qualitative findings reinforced these results, highlighting that primary source integration, collaborative projects, reflective discussions, and the use of digital tools such as Padlet and Google Classroom enhanced engagement, comprehension, and connections between the past and present. Teachers reported higher participation and critical dialogue in the classroom. Overall, deep learning strategies proved effective in combining cognitive, affective, and reflective dimensions, enriching history education, and cultivating students as critical, contextual, and socially responsible citizens.

Abstract

A Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play a strategic role in rural economic development by managing local resources. However, the ongoing digital disruption, characterized by technological shifts, market volatility, and intensified competition, demands a fundamental transformation of the human capital within BUMDes. This study aims to analyze the capacity of BUMDes human resources in facing disruptive challenges, identify key enabling and inhibiting factors in their transformation from local managers to rural entrepreneurs, and formulate relevant and sustainable strategies for their development. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 40 BUMDes administrators across multiple regions. The analysis utilized Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess the interrelationship between variables. The results revealed that digital skills significantly influence the readiness for role transformation, while managerial knowledge and innovation motivation did not show statistically significant effects. The study contributes theoretically by expanding the human capital framework in the context of rural development and offers practical insights for policy design related to structured digital training and mentoring programs. It alsoadvocates for a collaborative ecosystem involving local governments and development actors to support inclusive and sustainable rural entrepreneurship in the face of ongoing disruptions.

Abstract

The Car Free Day (CFD) program in Bone Regency has evolved into a dynamic economic space that requires micro-entrepreneurs to implement effective marketing management strategies. This study aims to analyze the implementation of marketing strategies based on sales layout applied by street vendors during CFD activities. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through observations and in-depth interviews with eight vendors representing various product categories. The findings reveal that stall layout serves as the primary determinant influencing customer accessibility, visitor flow, and product visibility, which directly affects sales performance. Vendors also focus on maintaining product quality, setting stable and competitive prices, and utilizing simple promotional methods through direct interaction to build strong customer relationships. Moreover, government zoning policies provide spatial stability for vendors, although they limit the flexibility to change locations. The study concludes that marketing strategies in CFD Bone are shaped by the utilization of temporary public spaces that combine economic and social dynamics. Recommendations include optimizing stall layout, enhancing hygiene, strengthening product innovation, and increasing the use of digital platforms to boost the competitiveness of micro-enterprises within CFD activities.
