Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of Shaqiri SME workers by introducing appropriate technology, such as cassava chopper machines. The community service activities were carried out with a participatory approach, involving collaboration between the community service team from academia and SMEs as partners. The service team also conducted monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of service activities. The community service team conducted an evaluation using a pre-post intervention approach with evaluation instruments that included sheets and questionnaires, structured interviews, photos, and video documentation. The data was analyzed descriptively and comparatively, focusing on quantitative and qualitative changes. The results showed that the introduction of a cassava chopper machine provided benefits to Shaqiri SMEs in the production process. The cassava chopping process, which previously took a long time, became faster, the thickness of the slices became consistent, and it was less tiring for workers.

Abstract

This analysis of the supply of onion in Brebes Regency is done using the methods of descriptive and analytic, and secondary data time series for 21 years (1998-2018). This study also utilizes the analysis of multiple linear by entering the model analysis of the distributed lag model with adjustment Nerlove (Partial Adjustment Model). The supply function is estimated with the approach of total production. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis obtained the factors that affect positively to the offer of onion in Brebes Regency is a vast harvest of onion in year t, the number of onion production in year t-1, the price of onions in year t-1, the price of garlic in year t-1, the average rainfall in year t, and interest rate in year t. The factor that negatively affects the offer is the price of urea fertilizer in year t. The most influential factor to the offer of onion in Brebes Regency is a vast harvest of onion in year t with the standardized regression coefficient of 0,889. The elasticity of supply for the area variable harvesting onions in year t is positive and is elastic with E greater than 1, namely 1,328 for the short-term and 1,832 for the long term. Elasticity is inelastic with E value less than 1 is a variable amount of production in the previous year i.e. 0,275 short-term and 0,379 long-term prices of garlic in the previous year with a value of 0,105 short-term and of 0.145 long-term, the price of onions in the previous year with a value of -0,143 short-term and -0,197 the long term, the interest rate in year t, namely 0,136 and 0,188, and the average rainfall in year t with the value of -0,218 short-term and -0,301 the long term.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that are influential in the adoption of e-commerce by agribusiness MSMEs in Bantul Regency which is carried out by adopting the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The selection of locations was carried out purposely on the consideration of Bantul Regency has the highest number of MSMEs in Yogyakarta Province and has been implemented digital MSME program. Sampling was conducted by purposive sampling which amounted to 135 respondents with the criteria of agribusiness MSMEs domiciled in Bantul Regency who already use e-commerce in their business activities. The data analysis used is SEM-PLS which is operated using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that computer self-efficacy has a positive influence on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Perceived ease of use has a positive influence on perceived usefulness and attitude towards using. Perceived usefulness has a positive influence on attitude towards using and intention to use. Attitude towards using has a positive influence on intention to use. Intention to use has a positive influence on actual use in the adoption of e-commerce in Agribusiness MSMEs in Bantul Regency.

Abstract

ABSTRAKBawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L) merupakan salah satu komuditas sayuran yang mempunyai arti penting bagi masyarakat, baik dari nilai ekonomisnya maupun kandungan gizinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa yang mempengaruhi permintaan, menganalisis faktor yang paling mempengaruhi permintaan, dan menganalisis elastisitas permintaan bawang merah di Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Metode dasar penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Sukoharjo dengan beberapa pertimbangan. Metode penentuan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel 100 responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan, secara bersama-sama variabel independen memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen dengan nilai R2 adjusted sebesar 0,596. Terdapat lima variabel yang mempengaruhi permintaan bawang merah di Kabupaten Sukoharjo, yaitu harga bawang merah, harga bawang bombay, pendapatan, lama pendidikan, dan jumlah anggota keluarga. Koefisien elastisitas harga bawang merah (-2,148) bersifat elastis. Bawang merah bersifat substitusi dengan bawang bombay (0,424).  Bawang merah merupakan barang kebutuhan pokok dengan nilai elastisitas positif (0,398).Kata Kunci : Analisis Regresi, Bawang Merah, Elastisitas, Permintaan

Abstract

Potensi tanaman empon-empon yang ada di Indonesia sudah banyak dimanfaatkan menjadi peluang bisnis minuman herbal. Salah satu jenis empon-empon yang mempunyai banyak khasiat adalah Jahe. Jahe dapat dioleh menjadi minuman instan herbal yang praktis dan mudah dikonsumsi. Dalam proses produksinya, adanya inovasi pengolahan jahe menjadi serbuk jahe melalui kristalisasi ini dapat meningkatkan nilai jual dan daya saing produk. UKM Jamuning (Bu Ning) menjadi salah satu UKM yang telah memproduksi Jahe instan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah adanya peningkatan produksi dan kualitas produk Jahe Instan pada proses produksi di UKM Jamuning (Bu Ning) sehingga dapat berdaya saing pada di tengah-tengah persaingan UKM minuman tradisional yang ada di Indonesia. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan meliputi: persiapan, sosialisasi kegiatan pengabdian ke UKM mitra, pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang terdiri atas introduksi beberapa alat/mesin yang diperlukan oleh UKM, pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian, dan pembuatan Laporan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini, yaitu 1) Introduksi Mesin Grinder (penggiling) Jahe untuk mempercepat proses penggilingan jahe kering menjadi bubuk, 2) Introduksi Mesin Ekstraksi (wajan pengaduk otomatis) untuk membantu proses kristalisasi/proses pembuatan jahe instan, dan 3) Mesin Weighing and Filling Powder (mesin penimbang dan pengemas otomatis) untuk membantu pengemasan jahe serbuk ke dalam kemasan baik plastik maupun botol kemasan. Dengan adanya introduksi ketiga alat tersebut, terlihat adanya peningkatan produksi dan kualitas proses produksi di UKM Jamuning (Bu Ning).

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between the implementation of religious programs and the religious and nationalistic character of students. The implementation of religious programs has the potential to produce a double impact, namely strengthening the moral integrity of individuals while fostering a nationalistic character in students. However, there has been no research that explicitly discusses how nationalistic character values such as loyalty, appreciation of national culture, or willingness to sacrifice are measured or evaluated as a direct impact of these religious programs. This study aims to fill the gap in the existing literature, which is mostly descriptive, qualitative, or observational, by analyzing the relationship between the implementation of religious programs in schools and the formation of students’ religious and nationalistic character. This study is important to empirically prove that strengthening spiritual values can be in line with the spirit of nationalism in the educational environment. The research method used is a quantitative correlation approach. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires to measure the intensity of student participation in religious programs and their level of religious character and nationalism, which were then analyzed using statistical tests in the form of correlation and simple linear regression tests. The results show a positive and significant relationship between the implementation of religious programs and the formation of students’ religious character and nationalism. These findings indicate that the more intensive the implementation of religious programs, the stronger the students’ religious commitment and love for their country, thus refuting the assumption of dualism between the two. Therefore, educational institutions are advised to optimize these programs as a key strategy in producing a generation of students with comprehensive and balanced character.

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires students to have a strong understanding of ethics, especially in the use of social media in accordance with Islamic teachings. However, the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning is often influenced by classroom dynamics and the quality of available learning resources. This study aims to analyze the influence of student discussion activities and the quality of teaching materials on IRE comprehension, particularly regarding social media etiquette. The research method used is quantitative, with a causal-associative approach. The research sample consisted of 148 high school students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine partial and simultaneous effects. Significant findings in this study indicate that: (1) Discussion activity has a positive and significant impact on student understanding; the initiative to argue and ask questions has been proven to strengthen mastery of the material. (2) The quality of systematic and relevant teaching materials significantly facilitates students’ absorption of information. (3) Simultaneously, both variables contribute 55.9% ($R^2 = 0.559$) to student understanding, while other factors influence the rest. The study concludes that collaboration between active learning processes and effective learning media is the key to mastering the material. The implication of this research for educators is the need to design teaching materials rich in contextual case studies and to create interactive discussion spaces. Integrated improvements in the quality of these two aspects can significantly minimize the misuse of social media among adolescents by strengthening their understanding of Islamic values.

Abstract

Kecap Kentjana is the only sweet soy sauce product from Kebumen Regency produced by CV Srikandi Makmur Sejahtera since 1960. Kebumen people who are proud of local products will provide positive recommendations to create a positive reputation for the product. Word of Mouth can significantly increase product awareness and popularity, influencing purchasing decisions for Kecap Kentjana. Apart from Word of Mouth, consumer purchasing decisions are also influenced by price, product quality, and brand image variables. The study aims to determine the effect of these four variables on the purchase decision of Kentjana Soy Sauce in Kebumen Regency. The primary research method uses the descriptive analysis method. The purposive sampling method was used to determine the location. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and recording using a questionnaire. The purposive sampling method was used to determine the number of samples, with 110 respondents. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach is used to analyze the data. The results prove that purchasing decisions are significantly influenced by Word of Mouth and product quality. Positive information from someone who is known can encourage potential customers to buy Kentjana soy sauce because potential customers tend to trust recommendations from the closest people, and the quality of the taste offered by Kentjana soy sauce is different from other soy sauce, so purchasing decisions will increase. The results also prove that price and brand image do not significantly influence purchasing decisions. The Kebumen community has consumed Kentjana soy sauce for generations. People have the views and habits of always choosing Kentjana soy sauce as their first choice, so price and brand image variables do not influence purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types of product defects, production process control limits, leading problems, factors causing the main issues in the production process, and corrective actions on the main problems in Bakpia Wirda's production. The primary research method is quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The research location is Bakpia Wirda, a bakpia business located in Tasikmadu Sub-district, Karanganyar Regency. The data used in this research are primary and secondary. Data analysis used the statistical processing control method with analytical tools in the form of (1) examination sheet or checksheet, (2) P-chart control diagram, (3) Pareto diagram, and (4) cause and effect diagram. The data taken is bakpia production data for September-October 2021. The results showed that the types of defective bakpia found during the production process were charred bakpia, torn skin bakpia, deformed bakpia, and too hard bakpia. There is one point outside the control limit, namely the point on the 3rd day, outside the upper control limit (UCL). The types of product defects of burnt bakpia and torn skin bakpia are the most dominant problems because they contribute 79.84% of the total product defects. Proposed improvements to the burnt bakpia defect are installing a timer during the roasting process, routine maintenance on the internal components of the stove, and adding a layer of the metal plate under the pan. Meanwhile, the proposed improvement for the torn skin bakpia defect is to increase the number of production workers, expand the production site, and add ventilation holes.
