Abstract

This community service program was carried out at Kerambitan 1 Public High School based on the low interest of Generation Z in agriculture due to their limited understanding of the use of modern technology in this sector. This activity aimed to increase students' interest and understanding of agriculture through counseling and workshops with three main topics, namely in vitro culture technology, the use of digital technology in landscape architecture, and agribusiness concepts, which were then complemented by tree planting in the school environment. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in both the students' knowledge and interest. More than 80% of students understood the material after the activity, with the largest increase in the topic of in vitro culture (from 30.0% to 85.7%). Students' interest in continuing their studies in agriculture also increased from 32.9% to 68.6%. In addition, the tree planting activity with teachers, lecturers, and KKN students fostered environmental awareness and the importance of sustainability. The conclusion of this activity is that the integration of theoretical learning, technological practice, and real environmental action can increase students' enthusiasm in understanding modern agriculture, with the added benefit of a collaborative and interactive approach.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have driven changes in student consumption patterns, particularly through the use of e-wallets and e-commerce as the primary means of transaction. The ease of access, speed of processing, and variety of promotions have made digital platforms an important part of consumption activities, including purchases that are not always based on actual needs. This situation has given rise to a tendency toward consumerism among students. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the use of e-wallets and e-commerce and the level of consumerism among students in the purchase of food and non-food products. The approach used is quantitative, with descriptive analysis to map the characteristics of respondents and Spearman's Rho correlation test to measure the relationship between variables. Data was collected through a questionnaire administered to active users of digital platforms. The results show that the majority of respondents have a high frequency of using e-wallets and e-commerce, with ready-to-eat food and personal care products being the dominant categories. The correlation test shows a relationship between the use of digital platforms and the level of consumerism among students. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening financial and digital literacy to encourage more rational and sustainable consumption behavior among students.

Abstract

The Indonesian wood furniture industry is a significant contributor to the non-oil and gas sector of the economy. Manufacturers are responsible for meeting not only domestic demands but also the needs of the international market. Nevertheless, Indonesia's status as a global exporter remains comparatively inferior to that of China and Vietnam. This study aimed to assess the comparative and competitive advantages of Indonesian wooden furniture globally. Employing a time series analysis spanning 21 years (2001-2022), the research utilized the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) method and Porter’s Diamond Model to assess these advantages. The results of the study indicate that RCA analysis consistenly showed values greater than one. However, the study also identified fluctuations in RCA during the period of 2007-2011. Furthermore, the application of Porter’s Diamond Model revealed that Indonesia’s abundant natural resources, skilled labor force, and supportive industrial ecosystem are key factors contributing to its competitive position. Nevertheless, the analysis highlighted the need for continued investment in capital, particularly in terms of technology and infrastructure, to sustain and echance this competitive advantage.

Abstract

Food consumption behavior is influenced by market dynamics and socio-religious momentum, which is reflected in online information search activities. This study aims to analyze trends in staple food–related search keywords during periods of market volatility and major religious holidays using Google Trends data analyzed through the FineBI platform. The commodities examined include rice, granulated sugar, cooking oil, beef, shallots, eggs, milk, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and salt across five highly populated provinces in Indonesia, namely Bali, West Java, North Sumatra, West Kalimantan, and South Sulawesi. This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach using relative search index data from Google Trends (scale 0–100) over the last 12 months and the past five years. The results indicate that during periods of market volatility, the most consistent increases in search interest occurred for rice, cooking oil, granulated sugar, and beef, with relatively higher intensity in West Java and North Sumatra. In contrast, eggs, shallots, milk, and salt exhibited more moderate fluctuations, while LPG showed relatively stable search interest. During religious holiday periods, search interest increased most notably ahead of Eid al-Fitr, Christmas, and the Lunar New Year, whereas Galungan and Nyepi had more limited and region-specific impacts, particularly in Bali. These findings confirm that the integration of Google Trends and FineBI is effective as a supporting indicator for monitoring spatial and temporal dynamics of food consumption.

Abstract

Grants are one form of government assistance aimed at supporting research, improving social welfare, economic development, education, and technological innovation for the community. Badung Regency has very high potential in regional development and is planning to improve the welfare of its people. With the highest local revenue in Bali Province, Badung Regency has become the fastest growing regency. In providing grant assistance, there are several requirements and types of grants that can be submitted using an institutional account by the community. Usually, there are obstacles in the submission process, related to the difference between the number of submissions and those accepted. Badung Regency developed the website e-hibah.badungkab.go.id to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of management so that obstacles can be overcome quickly. A literature review method was used in this study to discuss in detail the stages involved in the e-hibah.badungkab.go.id website regarding grant distribution. Grant distribution in Badung Regency through the e-hibah.badungkab.go.id website provides information on grant applications through three stages, namely: 1. Grant Proposal Submission, 2. Grant Proposal Evaluation, 3. Grant Disbursement. These three stages are contained in the Badung Regent Regulation concerning the distribution of grant funds in Badung Regency. The use of an online platform demonstrates the government's commitment to utilizing technology to simplify and speed up submitting and verifying grant proposals.

Abstract

The decline in robusta coffee production in 2022 has become a significant problem for farmers in Belatungan Village, Pupuan District, Tabanan Regency. The main causes of this decline in production are pest attacks, lack of garden maintenance, and limited production facilities. This study aims to analyze the role of agricultural extension workers in supporting the robusta coffee crop intensification program, identify the benefits of intensification on productivity, and measure its impact on farmers' income. The study was conducted in Belatungan Village using qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. Data were collected through interviews and observations of two farmer groups participating in the intensification program, consisting of 80 respondents, including 50 farmers from Subak Abian Bwana Manik Sari and 30 farmers from the Gastam Farmer Group.  To answer the research questions, a Likert scale approach was used to determine the benefits of this intensification program, and farm income analysis was used. The results showed that the intensification of robusta coffee significantly increased crop productivity and farmer income. On average, farmer income tripled after the intensification program. However, this study was limited to a small area and did not evaluate the sustainability of the program. Recommendations for further research include expanding the coverage area and examining the sustainability factors and environmental impacts of robusta coffee intensification.

Abstract

Dibalik kegemaran dalam budidaya Anggrek, fenomena yang terjadi adalah budidaya Anggrek kerap kurang oprimal. Budidaya Anggrek, kerap kurang ideal karena faktor lingkungan. Padahal tanaman Anggrek memiliki daya tarik dan harga yang cukup tinggi dipasaran. Oleh karenanya diperlukan ide - ide dari narasumber untuk berbagi pengalaman tentang bagaimana proses aklimatisasi Anggrek dengan menggunakan colchicine. Dalam hal ini praktik komunikasi pemberdayaan masyarakat dilakukan oleh narasumber dengan mentransferkan pengetahuan mengenai proses aklimatisasi Anggrek kepada kelompok ibu - ibu PKK di Desa Abiansemal. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini diantaranya : Agar mengetahui teori yang perlu diperhatikan dalam komunikasi pemberdayaan masyarakat, Agar wawasan peserta pentingnya menjadi masyarakat mandiri dengan membuka peluang usaha yang ada, Agar peserta mengetahui dan memahami tanaman Anggrek mempunyai daya tarik tinggi, Agar peserta mengetahui dan memahami bagaimana mengembangkan tanaman Anggrek yang lebih unik. Metode untuk melaksanakan kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan dan workshop. Hasil kegiatan yaitu : pemaparan dan praktik langsung dari proses aklimatisasi Anggrek dengan perlakuan colchicine, penerbitan artikel berita di media massa dan HAKI video kegiatan pengabdian. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyuluhan dan pelatihan dengan mendatangkan narasumber ahli dibidang pengembangan tanaman Anggrek, kepada Ibu – ibu PKK Desa Abiansemal sangatlah penting adanya, terutama dalam membangun kemandirian usaha di bidang agribisnis.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pemasaran digital UMKM olahan pangan di Desa Abiansemal melalui pemanfaatan media sosial TikTok. Optimalisasi promosi dilakukan melalui dua pendekatan, yaitu kolaborasi dengan mahasiswa KKN Universitas Udayana periode XXXI yang memproduksi konten promosi untuk beberapa UMKM, serta kerja sama dengan influencer Yuta Sitabhora yang mempromosikan UMKM pengolahan pindang “Segara Ribek” melalui akun pribadinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan pembuatan konten, dan praktik langsung menggunakan platform TikTok. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan mahasiswa KKN membantu UMKM memahami strategi pemasaran digital dan menghasilkan konten kreatif, sedangkan promosi melalui influencer terbukti efektif memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan brand awareness produk UMKM. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pemanfaatan TikTok sebagai media pemasaran digital efektif dalam meningkatkan daya saing UMKM lokal. Disarankan agar UMKM melanjutkan penggunaan TikTok secara mandiri dan menjalin kolaborasi berkelanjutan dengan mahasiswa maupun influencer agar keberlanjutan promosi dapat terjaga.
