Abstract

The development of the hospitality industry in the city of Pekanbaru is currently growing, we can see this from the many hotels in the city of Pekanbaru. Batiqa Hotel is one of the three-star hotels (***) of the many star-rated hotels in Pekanbaru City. The number of hotels in the city of Pekanbaru resulted in very tight competition, the increasing competition in controlling the market, requiring each hotel to be more careful in determining the price of its products in order to get the best position in market share. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out how far the factors (competition, demand elasticity, and cost structure) influence the price setting of rooms at Batiqa Hotel Pekanbaru. Based on the method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, the data in this study were collected through interviews and observations with the management of Batiqa Hotel Pekanbaru. Based on the data analysis carried out, it turns out that competition factors, demand elasticity, and cost structure are very dominant influencing the decision on room price determination of Batiqa Hotel Pekanbaru. Keywords : Competition, Demand Elasticity, Cost Structure, Price, Hotel

Abstract

Respon in the world of tourism is the opinion of way of view of visitors and tourists in understanding a tourist destination. This research was conducted in Sijori Resort & SPA Batam on Ir. Sutami street No.06, Sungai Harapan, Sekupang- Batam, kepulauan riau- indonesia. this study aims to determine the response of visitors to the implementation of recxeptionist duties in batam sijori resort and spa. this research uses quantitative descriptive method to process the data obtained in the field through interviews, observations and questionnaires. all the information collected and studied to become a unified whole (Sugono 2000). As for the sample in research 100 respondent. The determinantion of respondents with accidental sampling. Data collection techniques used are observations, interviews, questionnaires, using Likert scale as a measuring tool. Based on the results of research that has been done the implementation of recxeptionist duties in batam sijori resort and spa with sub variable the main fungsion , duties and responsibilities with good research conclusions. Keywords :Respon Of Visitors, Resort and Recepcionist

Abstract

Garden agro tours Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru city, it is one of the attractions that deserve to be developed, because the number of visits from year to year continues to increase. The reason the researchers chose the agro- tourism of pekanbaru city of riau province is the first agro tourism area in pekanbaru city and the agro- tourism park is quite interesting, which combines farming areas, farms and game riders into a beautiful area. This study aims to describe the segmentation of tourists in Taman Agro Tourism Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru City Riau Province. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. From the result of the research, it is known that the geographical segmentation of 86% comes from the city of Pekanbaru and 14% from outside Pekanbaru, female demographic segmentation is 67% and males 33%, age 26- 35 years 39% , 83% are married and 17% are unmarried, then on average have 4 core family members, 59% senior high school education, with an average job as an entrepreneur of 40% with monthly expenses of Rp. 3,000,000-4,000,000. Then psychologically tourists who come to visit the Agro Park Tenayan Raya Tour Pekanbaru city on average with families, tourists who come more happy to use a motorcycle. The average tourist knowing information about Taman Agro Wisata Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru City comes from relatives of 81% and is willing to recommend the location to others by 93%. Tourists who come to visit with the aim to relax by 46%. Tourists who use restaurant and gazebo facilities as many as 100 people, fruit garden as many as 60 people, mini market as many as 40 people, fishing ponds, 37 people, toilets as many as 30 people and outbound arena, outfit, rice fields, vegetable garden 29 people sebalamak. While the tourists who are interested in doing activities such as, taking 88 people, 60 people harvest, 37 people fishing, 29 agro-educational and outbound activities, 18 archery, flying fox as many as 11 people and family gathering as many as 6 people . Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The potential of cultural tourism attractions Rokan Hulu; (2) The potential of the natural tourist attraction as a tourist area Rokan Hulu; (3) The government's efforts to develop tourist attractions.This study used a qualitative method with descriptive approach, this subjects of this study werw taken from including, local community and village heads of Sungai Bungo village. The data collection is made by a study of documents, observation, interview, documentation.The results showed that Sungai Bungo village has tourism potential, nature tourism attractions and cultural tourism attractions, the potential of natural attractions, consist Sampuran Rura Pattasan waterfall, forest, the potential culture attraction and surrounding a tourist area of traditional and unique village including customs ie fish depths of prohibition, aqikah, circumcision apostles / circumcisions, belimau kasai, marriage tradition and way of life, this village has a high social life marked by frequent public conduct mutual cooperation. In conclusing Sungai Bungo village was potentially to be developed as a tourist village, supported by the efforts to develop infrastructure improvements as well as promotion.Keywords : Tourist area, attraction, Sungai Bungo village

Abstract

Hotel Pangeran is a hotel located in Jalan Sudirman Pekanbaru Prince Hotel is a hotel located in the city center so it is a strategic location in the city of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to know the performance of Room Boy Hotel Prince Pekanbaru and this research use qualitative with a descriptive approach to know the problems that exist in the room boy prince. Respondents numbered 5 people. The data collection technique uses observations, interviews, Documentation. Abstract

This research aimed about (1) Condition mangrove ecotourism visitor facilities at Bandar Bakau Dumai City. (2) the shape of the management of mangrove ecotourism visitor facilities in Bandar Bakau Dumai City.This study was a qualitative descriptive. This research subject is the key Informan namely, the Chief Manager of Bandar Bakau (PAB), Head of Tourism Department of Tourism Culture Youth and Sports Dumai, mangrove communities around the city, and in addition that Informen Visitors Bandar Bakau.The results showed that the condition of visitor facilities available in Ecotourism Mangrove, Mangrove Bandar Bakau Dumai City less good, because it is less manageable and lack of hygiene of the manager.Organizing shape (organaizing) lodging facilities, food and baverage and support industries not well organized yet appointed a separate manager for each of its facilities. Forms of Implementation (actuacting) lodging facilities, food and baverage and support industries less well, the implementation of these mangrove city manager should continue to control the existing facilities, so in case of direct damage repaired. Shape Control (controlling) facilities lodgings, food and baverage and support industries poor, lack of attention from the government in surveillance, lack of mobilization and supervision of the leader / boss of the existing facilities in the city of mangroves, and lack of organizational strong in developing facilities in Ecotourism Mangrove Mangrove Bandar Kota Dumai.Keywords : Management, Facilities, Ecotourism, Bandar Bakau.

Abstract

Restaurant is a building that provides food and drink. Especially in a hotel, restaurant is one of the partthat adds a lot of hotel revenue.. This research was conducted in Saffron restaurant Banyan Tree BintanHotel & Resorts, Teluk Berembang street, Laguna Bintan, Lagoi 29155, Bintan Resort, Indonesia. Thisrestaurant is chosen as a place of research because they have high reservation. This study aims toknowing how the reservation handling at Saffron restaurant. This research uses qualitative descriptivemethod which is researches tried to describe the real situation by collecting some information andexplain in detail way or make a prediction before. Data collection technique are used with observation,interview and documentation. The observation target of this researce are manager, supervisor andthree of waiters. Abstract

Hotel development in Pekanbaru is growing very rapidly and become the main industry which was very promising for entrepreneurs of hospitality services. Thus,the quality of services were to be something very important because costumers always need to get what the best presence of the service provided. It has been consequensed on the need of employee, especially the houseman, to subscrib on the guidance and requirements of Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) as demanded on professionalism.This study aims to determine the level of houseman professionalism in Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru.In the study the researcher uses a mix methods of both qualitative and quantitative as the research procedure that generated the data in the form of interview ,documentation, observation and questionnaire. In this case, there were 8 respondents and several informant, including 1 Supervisor, 1 F& B Manager, 1 HRD, and 8 houseman for interview.As the conclusion, the professionalism of Public Area Section houseman was categorized as in good level regarding the result of 77,8% point in questionaires analysis.Key words : profesionalism, houseman, public area, machine tools

Abstract

The cian cui culture festival is a water war festival held at the Lunar New Year celebration thatexisted 20 years ago, its philosophy can be interpreted as wet-basahan can be defined as a shareof sustenance because the water is the source of sustenance so by splashing equally by dividingkesesama. The purpose of this research is to find out (1) Variety of attraction in Cian CuiFestival in Meranti District (2) How to get the Cian Cui Festival (3) How to improve Cian CuiFestival as a tourist attraction. The design of this research is qualitative with deskruptiveapproach. The subjects of this study are key informants namely, Department of Tourism Youthand Sports District Merantidan Additional informants are community leaders Tiong Hoa-MelayuStrait Long and Society around Festiva budayal Cian Cui.Teknik data collection used isobservation, study documentation, and in-depth interview. Technical data analysis refers to theconcept of Milles and Huberman (1992). The results show that the cian cui cultural festival is nota religious event but it is a tradtion that is born from society to all people, and the variety of ciancui festival attraction is the uniqueness, beauty, and the values obtained in cian cui festival,because the festival This is all the tourists participate not participate as the audience only, and thepublic view of the cian cui festival is very good because many benefits are gained such astourism promotion event, trade at the time of the event took place and most important when twocultures melayu and china can unite and other . The government's planned improvement effortsto widen the streets around the festival are ongoing because of the targets reached by 15,000 to20,000 tourists, as well as improvements from other facilities and cultural festival cian cui eventitself.Keywords: attraction, festival, culture, Cian cui

Abstract

Lake Timbang Bunga pengantin is a natural lake attractions that has beautiful natural scenery. This lake is an area that has the potential to be developed into featured tourist attractions in Kuantan Singingi District. This research aims to describe the potential of Lake Timbang Bunga Pengantin. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection is done by observation technique, interview, documentation and literature study. The results of the study show that; Lake Timbang Bunga Pengantin has the beautiful natural scenery attraction, clean and fresh air, clear water and beautiful rice field views. Various activities that can be done on this lake like; enjoy the beauty of natural panorama, playing paddle ducks, play mini canoes, take photos, and exercise.  Keywords : Tourism Potential, Tourism Attraction, Development
