ABSTRAK Penelitian yang berjudul penggunaan Metode SAS Berbantu Media Gambar Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Siswa Pada Siswa Kelas SD Negeri Bojongsari 01 Brebes bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar diantaranya kemampuan membaca dan menulis bagi pemula. Penelitian ini menggunkan penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan peserta didik berjumlah 16 siswa. Hasil observasi awal rata rata nilai pra Siklus adalah 75 dengan persentase tuntas 50%, siklus 1 rata rata nilai klas 80 dan pemcapaian 75% siswa tuntas sedangkan yang terakhir siklus 2 rata rata nilai membaca dan menulis sebesar 85 dengan ketuntasan 100% melebihi angka Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum.
