Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe factors that distinguish consumers in selecting Bread Product Cella Bakery Holland Bakery. This study uses primary data were taken from interviews with respondents (Consumer Bread Product Cella Bakery and Holland Bakery) which incidentally encountered were making purchases at Cella Bakery and Holland Bakery by using a list of questions (questionnaire) were analyzed descriptively presented in tabular form. This study can provide information for producers to know and understand the characteristics of the consumers in order to increase sales. The results showed that the Ethnographic Characteristics (Ethnic) Cella Bakery and Holland Bakery Consumer in general is Minahasa suspected in general people of Manado come from ethnic Minahasa, Geographic Characteristics where the distance residential customers with Cella Bakery and Holland Bakery does not affect consumers in obtaining and consume Bread Product Cella Bakery and Holland Bakery, Demographic Characteristics of Cella Bakery and Holland Bakery Consumer generally women, were between the ages of 18-34 years, middle-income, number of family members / dependents between 3-4 people, with education past high school, and Psychographic Characteristics generally Cella Bakery Consumers frequently consume bread fried namely Panada by reason of having good taste, before eating bread in the shop and in the year> 2002 began to consume bread in Cella Bakery and Holland Bakery Consumer frequently consume bread baked are mocha brown bread fill the grounds have good taste, before eating bread at the mall and in the year> 2002 began to consume bread in Holland Bakery.

Abstract

North Sulawesi in addition to having some of the leading tourist attractions such as Bunaken Marine Park also has the attraction of alternative that still needs to be developed attractions include Lake Linouw in Tomohon. The purpose of this study was to identify appropriate development strategies in the tourist area of Lake Linouw in Tomohon, North Sulawesi. Research method was descriptive methods. Determination of the sample is based on non-probability sampling techniques. Collecting data through pre-survey, survey questionnaires, and study the literature. Data analysis has used SWOT analysis. The results showed that the tourist area of Linouw Lake at Tomohon, North Sulawesi is the growth strategies of concentration through vertical integration or the strategy of Rapid Growth Strategy (strategy of rapid growth). Therefore, it can be concluded that the main strategy to develop the tourist area of Lake Linouw be competitive position is strong and has a high tourist pull. Based on these research results, it is suggested that relevant parties should maintain tourist area Linouw Lake at Tomohon in a competitive position in the strong growth to improve tourist pull high and considering the relatively expensive tourist prices.

Abstract

Mobility is the movement of people from one region to the other region within a specified period. In other words, mobility is the movement of people to make the shift from a region or area of origin to other regions. As the capital of North Sulawesi, Manado and surrounding area have the role of mutual support between regions, where the City of Manado regarded as an area that became the purpose of work. The interdependence of the region between Manado and surrounding areas also can be seen in the relationship between the city of Manado with Maumbi village as an area of support, in terms of both formal and informal workers who worked in Manado. The increasing number of such workers has contributed to greater mobility of workers from Maumbi Village to Manado. This study aims to determine the mobility of wokers from the village Maumbi to Manado based on the push and pull factors of mobility. In answering this purpose of this study the collected primary data and secondary data have conducted. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. While secondary data taken at the village office Maumbi include the state of the last inhabitants in 2014, according to the number of people living in 2014 and the Maumbi Village community who work in the city of Manado. The variables measured were age, family size, length of stay, education level, number of family members working in Manado, type of work, number of dependents, total revenues, total expenses, mileage, travel time, type of transport, and cost of transportation. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis by describing and explaining all the factors related to the mobility of workers from the village Maumbi to Manado. The results showed that the pull factor mobility of the village Maumbi to Manado occur due to the distance traveled, the type of transport, length of stay, number of family members, income, expenses, and transportation costs, while pull factor mobility occurs because, type of work, education , age, and number of family members who work in the city of Manado.

Abstract

The objective of research is to analyze Community of Practice based on the elements of Domain/share repertoire, Community/Mutual Engagement, and Practice/share repertoire as factors of PT. Putra Karangetang. This research was conducted from November 2015 until January 2016, started from preparation until report compilation. The data used in the form of primary data. This research was carried out with Stratified random sampling technique. In which 40 members of a population. Data analysis was done descriptively using a likert scale. The result showed that those elements of Domain/share repertoire, Community/Mutual Engagement, and Practice/share repertoire are strong elements as forming factor in the Community of Practice of official employee PT. Putra Karangetang, the result showed 93,37% . Domain is the identity that has been set with particular interest that membership implies commitment, domain shaping up to be a collection of friends or network connections to achieve the goals of sustainable. Community as a means to gather people who share a common interest and engaged in discussions, they share knowledge and learn together. Practice as a process to improve skills, employees not only work in general but also share methods, techniques and experience to form a pattern of behavior and improve the skills of employees.

Abstract

The objective of the study is: Analyzing a good strategy in the development of the Fisheries Resources in West Southeast Maluku District, so as to provide a decent income for communities and regions. This research is done by using the method of SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) by looking at internal and external factors that exist. The research results indicate that internal factors, which become the strengths in the management of the fishery sector are the potential of Natural Resources, the availability of a reliable workforce, the potential of the sea in West Southeast Maluku District, improving the management of natural resources in the field of fisheries, and policies of the Government of the district in managing fishery sector. While the weakness of the internal factors are quality of human resources that are still relatively low, lack of education for the workers, the availability of infrastructure, lack of good understanding in technology, and lack of support from formal and informal institutions. External factors which become opportunity are regional autonomy, national policy for marine, support from the central government, and market potential. While the threats of external factors are the condition of the natural, social and cultural, illegal fishing, the limited supply of energy, and the price of the product which is not stable. In short, to improve the good management of the fishery sector in West Southeast Maluku District, then through a SWOT analysis, all elements of society in the district, especially the local government should optimize its strengths and opportunities that exist, as well as seeking alternative policies to reduce its weaknesses and threats which exist.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the Competitivences of ‘Kacang Goyang’ industry of ‘UD Berusaha’ and ‘UD Kabela’ Kotamobagu, North Sulawesi. This study was conducted over three months from July to October 2015 in Motoboi Kecil, South Kotamobagu, North Sulawesi. Data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data collection is done by interview using questionnaires and secondary data derived from Dinas Pertanian. The used analysis is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The result showed that consumers are satisfied with the level of the cleanliness, appearance and performance. Prices offered by the two businesses are affordable and is according to the contents of products and flavors. The consumen is satisfied with the price. Consumers’ considended that the two companies have a clean and comfortable place, but there are some aspects that should be corrected such as, location and parking. Consumers also considened that this two companies provide a good service in the aspect of speed, knowledge and friendliness, but consumers have not been satisfied in the physical aspect, dressed, and neatness.*lrr*

Abstract

This research aimed to describe culture, social, physical, and economy condition, to find out public perception of the relocation plan, and to identify relationship between public perception and influence factors at Lingkungan I. This research was done for three months from Agustus to October 2015 at Kelurahan Dendengan Dalam Lingkungan I, Paal Dua Sub-District, Manado City, North Sulawesi Province. This research uses descriptive qualitative with method or case study approach. Data analysed in quantitative and qualitative with statistical analysis in tabulation, percentage, and scoring and then continued with chi-squared analysis. Result showed that people condition at Lingkungan I after flood disaster didn't affect familty economy which still in passably economy but physical condition changed to weak and socio-cultural condition became good while organization condition (government socialization effort) was in passably condition because public didn't understand enough or had awareness about the relocation plan. People of Lingkungan I, Kelurahan Dendengan Dalam, doubt and didn't agree with resettlement plan of government. Most of the public attitude were attitude of passably economy condition, weaker physical and fixed condition, low and passably good organization condition, and lack of (enough) public awareness about the whole relocation plan. Factors which have connection with public perception at Lingkungan I, Kelurahan Dendengan Dalam such as organization condition (government socialication effort) and the level of knowledge about the whole relocation plan, while economy, physic, and socio-cultural condition were not affect by that.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the orientation of the market (customer orientation, competitor orientation and coordination between functions). This research conducted for three months, since February to April 2016. The data used in this research is the primary data taken using a survey method using a questionnaire that by distributing questionnaires to employees and manager. A questionnaire was used to determine the customer orientation, competitor orientation and coordination between functions. Based on the results of research conducted at the Five Star UD, it can be concluded that Five Star has captured the market orientation that is good with market orientation value of 64.31 persent. UD's market orientation on customer orientation is said to be good in that understanding of these UD on the wishes of customers, know what customers want, satisfaction and create value for customers. In the competitor orientation, this UD could respond to acts of competitors, competitive advantage to seize opportunities, and try to improve and find a strategy to fight its competitors. While in the coordination between functions, workers has contributed to the strategy of Five Star UD and the customer value creation, mutual cooperation among workers, and has understood the needs of customers so as to create satisfaction for its customers.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are: (1) to analyze financial performance at PT. Tropica Cocoprima based ROI (Return On Investment) with Dupont system approach in the period 2012-2014 year, (2) Comparing the ROI (Return On Investment) on PT. Tropica Cocoprima year period 2012-2014. This study will be conducted at PT. Tropica Cocoprima which is housed in the City Hall No. 12 Manado. This study was conducted over two months, from the month of September until the month of October 2016. This study uses secondary data to be retrieved directly from the company PT.Tropica Cocoprima. Methods of data collection in this research with the study documentation in the form of financial statements of income and balance period of 2012, 2013 and 2014. The data are taken from the financial statements is the data that supports the measurement of ROI (Return On Investment), such as cost of goods sold , cost of sales, administrative expenses, tax, sales, cash, bank, accounts receivable, inventory and fixed assets. In this study, analysis of the data used is quantitative analysis by performing the calculation of ROI (Return On Investment). Regarding these calculations in this study will be conducted by a systems approach Dupont. This study emphasizes the use of data in the form of numbers that is processed and analyzed to obtain conclusions about the picture of the financial performance of the company PT. Tropica Cocoprima. Dupont system is basically used to be able to evaluate the effectiveness of the company to see how the company's return on investment. In Dupont analysis needs to be calculated: ratio of activity and profitability. Based on the results of measurements of financial performance using Dupont analysis shows that during the period 2012-2014: (1) The financial performance of PT. Tropica Cocoprima based on Return On Investment (ROI) with Dupont System Analysis approach can be said to be in stable conditions, although less stable companies still able to produce a return on the investment made. Rise and fall of Return On Investment (ROI) is caused by the rise and fall of the Net Profit Margin (NPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM) in unfavorable conditions due to net income experienced a significant decline, the decline in net income is affected by total cost increased, this increase occurred due to the increase of cost of sales, especially in the purchase of raw materials is very large. while Total Assets Turn Over (TATO) in good condition because increased during the years 2012-2014. (2) The calculation Systems Analysis Dupont also show that the percentage of Return On Investment (ROI) in 2013 better than the percentage level Return On Investment (ROI) in 2012 and 2014, and the percentage rate of return on investment in 2012 better compared Return on Investment (ROI) in 2014.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the potential and opportunities of Tourism Region Pulisan, identify any weaknesses and threats, and define management strategies of Pulisan Coastal Region. This research used descriptive method to interpret the data. This research was conducted at the Village of Pulisan, East Likupang Sub-district, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province which began in March to August 2016. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and used Theory of Tourism System. Respondents in this study is the government of North Minahasa Regency. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. This study uses a model of SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) factors predefined both from the view of experts as well as existing regulation. Then analyze the internal and external factors that are arranged in a matrix of IFAs (Internal Factor Analysis) and EFAS (External Factor Analysis). Research using SWOT analysis weights and scores are determined based on the analysis of data obtained from the respondents. The results showed that the tourism area is Pulisan Tourism Regions with high natural potential and much in demand by tourists. Although the location is not too wide but has many interesting attractions Tourism Region of Pulisan natural appeal to different types of travelers with different motivations. Development undertaken by the community with the coaching is done by the Department of Tourism and Culture of North Minahasa provide a change of design in terms of tourist facilities. Rearrangement taking into account the priority needs of tourists in the tourism area, this will greatly affect its development, so that tourists and travelers can feel the value of Marine Tourism Region at an affordable price. Growth strategies that are used to provide benefits for local residents. High tourist visits every weekend is expected to give local residents the ability to develop, it need guidance from relevant agencies to provide more targeted development.
