Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the status of the creative economic existence of coastal communities in Kema District, North Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from May to November 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative analysis method. A gradual sampling method was applied, namely the purposive sampling method and the simple random sampling method, in choosing 20 respondents. Existence status was a situation or condition, which in this study was an ongoing creative economic activity in coastal communities seen from motivation, creativity and innovation, financial management, environment, and government.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the efficiency of marketing channels and institutions for cayenne pepper commodities in Remboken District. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The number of samples of Farmers is 40 respondents, Collector Traders are 5 respondents and Retailers are 17 respondents. This study uses questionnaires and interviews to describe the pattern of cayenne pepper marketing channels in Remboken District, which is then described. The data analysis method used is the analysis of Marketing Margin, Farmer's Share and Marketing Efficiency. The research results showed that the marketing channel pattern for the commodity of cayenne pepper in Remboken District contained three channels, namely: Marketing Channel 1: Farmers – Consumers; 2: Farmers – Retailers – Consumers; 3: Farmers – Collectors – Retailers – Consumers. The lowest margin in marketing channel I was 0, Farmer Share was 98%, this is because farmers sell directly to consumers. and the smallest percentage of Marketing Efficiency is in channel I, which is 1.70%, this is because the costs incurred by marketing channel I are smaller than marketing channels II and III.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the strategy for developing organic soybean farming in Sonder District, Minahasa Regency. This research was carried out for 2 months, from April to May 2022. The place of this research was carried out in Sonder District, Minahasa Regency. This study uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct observation and interviews with respondents based on a list of questions. Secondary data were collected and obtained from agencies related to this research. The sampling method used purposive sampling method, namely by taking samples intentionally as many as 5 people consisting of the head of the farmer group, consultant, BPP coordinator, field extension workers and the government. The informants were chosen because they were considered to have a better understanding of the existing problems in order to determine the soybean development strategy in Sonder District. Descriptive data analysis and, using analysis of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the alternative Strength Opportunity (SO) strategy is as follows: increasing production by utilizing unused land by using grobogan variety soybeans according to factory demand, rearranging planning regarding the suitability of seed assistance and seed needs, with the existence of land certificates organic matter from ICERT so that the requirements for organic land meet the requirements for land use and support the development of organic soybeans in Sonder Sub District, and utilize organic fertilizer raw materials which are always available so as to support increased soybean production.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the corn farming development strategy in Toraget Village, Langowan Utara Sub District, Minahasa Regency. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique in this study was by purposive sampling technique. The number of samples of farmers is 10 respondents, and stakeholders in the village of Toraget are 3 people consisting of the Toraget village government and also supervisors as development strategy experts. This study used questionnaires and interviews as well as FGDs to see how the corn farming business in Toraget Village was developed. The data analysis method used is SWOT analysis. The results of the analysis on the SWOT matrix obtained the coordinates (0.97 : 1.46) which show that these coordinates are in quadrant 1, which supports an aggressive strategy. That of all the strengths of the availability of dry land that is still wide has a weight value of 0.15 and a rating of 4, experience in corn farming has a weight value of 0.15 and a rating of 4, the existence of institutions (farmer groups and Gapoktan) has a weight of 0.12 and a rating of 3 .3, the availability of agricultural production inputs has a weight of 0.14 and a rating of 3.8. So that from all the existing strengths the corn farming development strategy in Toraget Village has the strength to be developed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of curly chili farming in Kauditan sub-district, North Minahasa regency. This research was conducted in Kauditan District, North Minahasa Regency. This research began from March to June 2022. The method used in this study was purposive with the consideration that Kauditan District is one of the curly chili producing districts. The type of data used in this research is primary and secondary data. The primary data consisted of data on fixed costs, variable costs, investment costs, curly chili production data, curly chili price data, sales data and curly chili cultivation information obtained from field visits and direct interviews with curly chili farmers in Kauditan District. Secondary data in the form of curly chili production development data, curly chili productivity data, and curly chili farming analysis data from other studies obtained from literature studies both obtained in libraries, websites, and other places in the form of the results of previous research related to research problems. The results showed that the income of curly chili farming in Kauditan District, North Minahasa Regency per hectare in one planting cycle with a total of 10,000 plants amounted to IDR225,190,000.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income and feasibility of Stevia farming in Tountimomor Village, West Kakas District, Minahasa Regency. The research was carried out for 3 months, from May to July 2022. The respondents in the study were determined deliberately. The data used are primary data collected through interviews based on questionnaires and secondary data obtained through Google Scholar in the form of books. The results showed that in the first 6 months the revenue did not cover all the costs incurred by farmers for the production of Stevia because all costs were incurred for 1 planting period which was for 6 years, so the income was still negative. Therefore, the second stage was continued, namely financial analysis to determine the feasibility of Stevia farming using the criteria of NPV, IRR, Net B/C and BEP. The results of the analysis of the feasibility of farming are feasible or Stevia farming in Tountimomor Village, West Kakas District, Minahasa Regency is feasible to implement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of mustard greens farming "pakcoy" in Rurukan Village, East Tomohon District. This research was conducted for 2 months, from August to October 2022. The data analysis method used in this study was descriptive analysis. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The primary data was obtained by means of a survey through the face-to-face stage using a questionnaire which contained a list of questions regarding the identity of the respondent, the input and output of the "pakcoy" mustard spoon farming. Secondary data obtained from books or literature related to the problem under study. The results showed that the total production of mustard spoon "pakcoy" obtained in one harvest of mustard spoon "pakcoy" was 759.09 Kg with a cultivated area of 0.162 Ha. The price that applies to farmers is IDR21,818/10Kg. The total costs incurred by farmers in one harvest of the mustard spoon "pakcoy" average IDR609,741. The total income of the "pakcoy" spoon mustard farmers in this business averages IDR1,381,818. The total income of mustard greens farmers with an average "pakcoy" spoon is IDR772,077 and the results of the R/C ratio analysis in one harvest show that the "pakcoy" spoon mustard farming is profitable for farmers so that it can be continued and developed.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the marketing mix at K2B cafes in Kleak Village, Manado City. This research was conducted from August to September 2022. The selection of respondents was carried out by chance, that is, with whom the respondent met the researcher. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from K2B internet cafe owners in Kleak Village, Manado City. Secondary data was collected through interviews, based on a questionnaire, so that a total of 20 respondents. The results showed that there were 2 marketing mix variables that were satisfied, namely product variables (81.10%) and price (84.44%) while those who felt dissatisfied were place and promotion variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of cocoa farming in Kopandakan II Village, Lolayan District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted from October to November 2022. Data collection in the field was carried out by purposive sampling by direct interviews and data from the Central Bureau of Statistics for Bolaang Mongondow Regency, institutions related to cocoa commodity and scientific information from researchers - previous researchers. The variables measured in this study are cocoa production, cocoa prices, investment costs, cocoa operational costs, and cocoa income. The results of the data obtained will then be processed and analyzed in more depth using the analysis of investment criteria. The results of this study indicate that cocoa farming in Kopandakan II Village is feasible. With data obtained from the average Net Present Value of cocoa farming per hectare by farmers using intercropping of Rp. 6,098,333 and Rp. Rp.8,626,871 for cocoa farming using the monoculture method, the Internal Rate of Return for cocoa farming using intercropping is 19% and 20.64% for cocoa farming using monoculture. the Net B/C yield is 1.421 monoculture and 1.277 intercropping, the Payback Period cocoa farming by intercropping for 7 years 8 months and 7 years in cocoa farming by monoculture to return the investment costs incurred.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of corn farming income according to the area of land they cultivate in Inobonto Village, Bolaang District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted for 3 months starting from November 2022 to January 2023. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained in the research field, namely from interviews with corn farmers, while secondary data were obtained from agencies related to the research. The sample used is homogeneous, so the sample determination is carried out proportionally according to the tenure of the land area of 15 respondents. The results of the data obtained, then processed using farming analysis according to Suratiyah. Based on the calculation results of corn farming analysis in Inobonto Village, Bolaang District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, the farm income with a land area of L < 1 Ha is IDR16,418,000 with an R/C Ratio value of 2.20, and for Land Area 1 < L < 2 Ha With an income of IDR49,702,000 with an R/C Ratio value of 4.00 while Corn farming income with a Land Area of L> 2 Ha is IDR96,546,000 with an R/C Ratio value of 4.97. So for all land areas the R/C ratio is greater than 1.
