Abstract

Anak TK usia 4-5 tahun merupakan bagian dari anak usia dini yang berada pada rentangan usia lahir sampai usia 6 tahun. Masa ini merupakan masa untuk meletakkan dasar seluruh pengembangan kemampuan fisik, kognitif, bahasa, sosial emosional, konsep diri, disiplin dan lain-lain. Untuk itu diperlukan berbagai stimulasi untuk merangsang pengembangan seluruh aspek tersebut tanpa melewatkan bahwa anak usia dini belajar melalui bermain. Untuk pembelajaran yang menyenangkan tidak perlu dengan sumber belajar yang mahal tetapi juga dari benda-benda di sekitar anak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi hasil pengamatan dan pengalaman peneliti, bahwa media biji-bijian dapat membantu anak usia dini dalam pengembangan matematika sesuai dengan pola berfikir anak yang masih dalam pra-operasional membutuhkan benda-benda konkret dalam kegiatan pembelajarannya. Media biji-bijian dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pemahaman konsep matematika sebagai salah satu aspek pengembangan kognitif. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: akan mendiskripsikan bagaimana media biji-bijian dapat meningkatkan pengembangan matematika pada anak TK Kelompok A dengan pemecahan melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan rancangan model Kemmis & Taggart dengan perencanaan 2 siklus dalam pelaksanaannya. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan anak lebih mudah memahami konsep matematika karena dilakukan dengan bermain yang menyenangkan serta anak diajak bereksplorasi, menemukan dan memanfaatkan objek-objek yang dekat serta konkret. Biji-bijian sebagai objek konkret mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir untuk memahami konsep matematika sederhana yaitu konsep mengenal bilangan 1-10. Penguasaan konsep matematika anak TK yang diamati melalui permainan ini sudah baik, sehingga diharapkan dapat menunjang keberhasilan pengajaran matematika pada pendidikan selanjutnya. Biarkan anak mempunyai gambaran bahwa matematika bisa dipelajari dengan konsep sederhana dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of swimming duck gymnastics activity against gross motor skills of children aged 3-4 years using a type of pre-experiment research (non-design) with a one-shot case study design. The population of all of the students PAUD Labschool UN PGRI Kediri age 3-4 years with a sample of 10 children using saturated sampling technique. Data collection in this research is the method of observation and documentation conducted in the second semester of academic year 2016/2017 for a month that is January 2017. Test analysis used is the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test test because of the sample less than 30 and do not use control class and see the influence of the activities of duck gymnastics swimming in children before and after applied. The results of the Test Statistics showed the amount of Sig of 0.005 then the decision taken is to reject Ho because the Sig value is smaller than the alpha that has been set that is 0.05 so it shows there is a significant influence of the activity of swimming duck gymnastics in early childhood. From the results of Ranks also seen the mean value of 5.50. A positive mean value indicates that swimming duck gymnastics activities have a positive effect.

Abstract

Learning problems in producing students who have 4c competence (creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking) are still very limited, especially in PAUD. The problem can be seen from the achievements of children's development were limited creativity when teaching learning process occurs, children have low communication skills and express opinions from the results of groups or collaborations. This is due to the role of the teacher is still dominant in teaching learning process and teacher limits the children's creativity by providing less varied of learning media because it only uses student worksheets that are available at school. STEAM-based learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematic) with loose parts media was chosen because it is in line with 21st century education where critical thinking skills, creative, collaborative and communicative are honed by playing. Based on the results of observation showed that learning activities implemented by teacher in Group A Pertiwi 2 Bodor Kindergarten did not lead to 21st century learning yet so that learning activities were monotonous and the teacher was not be able to direct students to master the 4c ​​skills. From these problems, the teacher applied STEAM-based learning by using Loose Parts media. The research method used descriptive qualitative with 13 subjects of Group A aged 4-5 years old at TK Pertiwi 2 Bodor. Data collection was done by observation and documentation techniques, then it was analyzed qualitatively that is analyzing the child's developmental achievements objectively. The results showed that STEAM-based learning using loose parts media effectively was increased the ability of 4c children aged 4-5 years, so it is recommended that this learning can be implemented continuously to see the students’ achievement in other aspects.

Abstract

The Changes gives both positive and negative effects on the individual, which also occurs in children where there are problems in interaction and communication because of the gadgets that are more widely used in learning. The pandemic era, where children play more gadgets makes interpersonal intelligence increasingly difficult to stimulate. The game namely “urang style” (snakes and ladders of culture) is a solution that can be used to stimulate and optimize interpersonal intelligence for children. The purpose of the research conducted by the author is to create a new play that can be used by PAUD educators in stimulating children's interpersonal intelligence. The subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). Implementation of the development using the Barg & Gall model which was simplified into 4 stages including: (1) potential and problem analysis, (2) literature study, (3) product design, (4) design validation. Instruments in data collection related to the observation used. The style game has several advantages including: (1) interesting, (2) interactive, (3) economical, (4) educational. The results of the validity test came from the validator, who concluded that the game of “urang style” was suitable for use and obtained a score of 0.05. The implementation of these results will be the basis if the next stage will be carried out

Abstract

Language has a very important contribution in the life of every individual. In almost every activity in an individual's life, it cannot be separated from aspects of language and speaking, including children with language disclosure through speaking, children can express their thoughts, feelings and expressions. The purpose of this study is to improve children's storytelling skills using picture media. This study used the classroom action research (CAR) method which consisted of four steps including: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The data analysis used is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The success criterion in this study was increasing children's storytelling ability at the age of 5-6 years with an average mastery score of 75%. Based on the results of the action it can be concluded that children aged 5-6 years have experienced an increase in complete achievement. This is evidenced by the changes that occurred from the first cycle of 31.5%, the second cycle of 52.6% and the last cycle III reached 78.9% which indicates that the child's storytelling ability has increased from not appearing at first to appearing. This shows that picture media can improve children's storytelling skills.

Abstract

The purpose of writing the results of this study is to describe the integration of diversity values applied to early childhood through project-based activities that aim to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. The problem faced is that there is still a misconception about understanding project activities rather than teaching children about the values of strengthening Pancasila, more on the results in the form of products that can be shown. Responding to this problem for the writer is very important when the foundational development phase of early childhood is taught about basic values in understanding and respecting differences, cultural diversity as part of the elaboration of Pancasila values in everyday life. The research design chosen was qualitative by collecting data using direct observation techniques, and documenting the results of project learning activities to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis by processing the data in a theoretical and empirical study based on the results of direct observation then concluded and described in a narrative manner. The results of this study found that early childhood activities in process-oriented projects, especially habituation activities, make children recognize the value of diversity without having to explain it in a difficult way, but practice it directly. The recommendations given from the results of this study may be an inspiration for educators, parents, and related parties in developing educational programs that encourage diversity from an early age, so that the next generation of the nation can grow as individuals who respect cultural diversity, build harmonious relationships, and strengthen unity. in a multicultural society.

Abstract

Early childhood education is a critical stage in building a holistic foundation for a child's development. In this context, parental involvement plays a vital role in supporting the child's learning process at school. This study aims to explore the role and implementation of parental participation in the learning process at TKIT Raudhatul Jannah, Cilegon, Banten. Parental involvement is considered crucial for supporting the holistic development of early childhood and ensuring their readiness for the next educational level. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, where data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is triangulation, which allows for validating information from various sources to obtain a comprehensive understanding. The findings reveal that parental participation at TKIT Raudhatul Jannah significantly enhances the children's learning process. Forms of involvement include participation in regular meetings, parenting programs, school activities, as well as support for learning at home. The positive impact of this involvement is evident in the increased motivation to learn, socio-emotional development, and academic readiness of the children. The synergy between parents and the school also supports the implementation of the *Kurikulum Merdeka* (Independent Curriculum), which emphasizes experiential learning. This study highlights the importance of strong collaboration between schools and parents to achieve comprehensive success in early childhood education.

Abstract

Numeracy skills play a crucial role in daily life, including for early childhood. Based on initial observations at Putera Bhakti Kindergarten, it was found that there was a problem of low numeracy skills and lack of stimulation provided by teachers, so researchers applied Edugame Star media to improve early childhood numeracy skills. This study aims to create the effect of the application of interactive multimedia Edugame Star in improving early childhood numeracy skills and analyzing the differences with conventional learning media. Researchers chose a quantitative descriptive research method with a pseudo-experimental approach and Posttest-only design with nonequivalent groups to conduct the proof. The population in the study included all students at Putera Bhakti Kindergarten with 2 sample groups, including the experimental group (B3) and the control group (B1). The results of the study based on the Mann U Whitney Test showed that the value of Exact Sig. [2*(1-tailed Sig.)] of 0,009<0,05, then H0 is rejected, which means that there is an effect of the application of interactive multimedia Edugame Star on early childhood numeracy skills. The research results also showed a difference in the value of the mean rank results, namely the control group reached 13.97 and the experimental group 23.03 which resulted in a difference of 9.06. This significant difference causes H0 to be rejected, which means that there is a difference in the application of interactive multimedia Edugame Star with the application of conventional media.
