Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berbicara siswa pada mata pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV SD Negeri 032 Kualu Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar. Salah satu solusi masalah ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode show and tell. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa, materi keragaman dengan mengunakan metode show and tell pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 032 Kualu, metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi, dan waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2021. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 26 siswa, dengan jumlah laki-laki 17 siswa dan siswa perempuan berjumlah 9 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 032 kualu pada siklus I tergolong cukup dengan rata rata 65,38. Selanjutnya dari 26 siswa hanya 17 orang siswa yang tuntas sedangkan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 74,59. Pada siklus II baik dengan rata rata 84,61, dan 26 siswa terdapat 22 siswa yang tuntas sedangkan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 81,73. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan mengunakan metode show and tell dapat meningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 032 Kualu.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SDN 013 Muara Jalai Kec. Kampar Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan metode CIRC (Cooperative Integreted Reading and Composotion) dalam pembelajaran bahasa indonesia di kelas V SDN 013 Muara Jalai. Jenis penelitian ini Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dan setiap siklus dilaksanakan dua kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 013 Muara Jalai yang berjumlah 14 orang siswa dengan jumlah siswa laki-laki 8 orang dan siswa perempuan 6 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teknik observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus, dimana hasil persentase pada siklus I pertemuan I mencapai (57,14%), pertemuan II meningkat menjadi (71,43%) sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan I (78,57%), dan pertemuan II meningkat mencapai (85,71%). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan metode CIRC (Cooperative Integreted Reading and Composotion) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa pada kelas V SDN 013 Muara Jalai.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SD 013 Kumantan for the 2022/2023 academic year, which consists of 10 students. The research method is centered on Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two learning cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four learning stages, namely: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. When the research was carried out in August 2022. Data collection techniques were in the form of documentation, observation and tests. The results of the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SDN 013 Kumantan in pre-action with a learning completeness percentage of 30%. In the first cycle the first meeting with a learning completeness percentage of 30% and in the first cycle the second meeting experienced an increase with a learning completeness percentage of 40%. In the second cycle, the first meeting also increased with a learning mastery percentage of 60%, and in the second cycle, the second meeting experienced another increase with a 90% learning completeness percentage. Thus it can be concluded that the application of The Power Of Two learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SDN 013 Kumantan. Abstract

This study aims to improve students' listening skills through the cooperative script model for fifth grade students at SDN 008 Langgini in the 2022/2023 academic year. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. This research consisted of 2 cycles and each cycle was conducted in 2 meetings. The object of research is students' listening skills. Data analysis techniques were carried out in qualitative and quantitative descriptions. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle lasting 2 meetings. The results showed that students' listening skills improved after the action was taken. The results showed that the use of the cooperative script model could improve the listening skills of fifth grade students at SDN 008 Langgini. This is indicated by an increase in the number of students who achieve the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and an increase in class and classical average scores. average value and percentage of classical completeness cycle I meeting I 40%, in cycle I meeting II 53.33 % and cycle II meeting I 80% in cycle II meeting II 93.33 % Keywords: Cooperative Script Learning Model, Listening Skills, and Elementary School.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low understanding of Mathematics concepts in class III students at SDN 004 Salo. This is because the learning model has not been able to improve students' understanding of Mathematics concepts in the learning process. One solution to overcome this problem is to apply the Concept Attainment learning model . This research aims to describe increasing students' understanding of Mathematics concepts by applying the Concept Attainment learning model for class III students at SDN 004 Salo. This research method is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 20 class III students. Data collection techniques include interview techniques, observation, tests and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that there was an increase in students' results of Understanding Mathematical Concepts before the action, the average completeness of students' Understanding of Mathematical Concepts results was only 25% with classical completeness of 59%, then in the first cycle of the first meeting it increased to 35% with classical completeness of 65. 25%, then in cycle I, meeting II increased to 50% with classical completeness of 71.5%. Furthermore, cycle II, meeting I increased to 65% with classical completeness of 73% and cycle II, meeting II increased to 80% with classical completeness of 80.5%. So it can be concluded that the application of the Concept Attainment Learning model can improve the understanding of Mathematics concepts for class III students at SDN 004 Salo. Abstract

Background This research is motivated by the low arithmetic ability of first grade students of SDN 010 Siabu, especially in addition material. This is caused by the use of conventional learning methods that are less interesting and the lack of utilization of concrete learning media. This study aims to determine the effect of using the jarimatika method on students' arithmetic ability in addition material. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class I A as the experimental group and class I B as the control group, each consisting of 21 students. The instrument used was a numeracy ability test that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis using the independent t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the posttest scores of the experimental group and the control group, with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05. The average posttest score of the experimental group was higher, namely 89.05 compared to the control group 80.90. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the jarimatika method has a positive effect on improving the arithmetic ability of first grade students in addition material. Abstract

This study is motivated by the low short story writing skills of students in Indonesian language lessons in fifth grade. The aim of this research is to improve the short story writing skills of fifth-grade students at UPT Sekolah Dasar Negeri 020 Ridan Permai. The subjects consisted of 25 students, comprising 11 male and 14 female students. This research uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings and four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted from Wednesday, May 21, 2025, to May 28, 2025. Data collection techniques included documentation, observation, and tests. Based on the data analysis results, there was an improvement in short story writing skills in the Indonesian language subject. The initial pre-action classical completeness was 32.06%, in Cycle I Meeting I it increased to 38.42%, then to 44.81% in Meeting II. In Cycle II Meeting I, it rose significantly to 86.43%, and further increased to 91.21% in Cycle II Meeting II. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition learning model can improve the short story writing skills of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 020 Ridan Permai. Abstract

This research aimed at describing the increase of student listening skill through Directed Listening Thinking Activity strategy at the third grade of State Elementary School 006 Pasir Sialang, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency. It was a classroom action research. The subjects of this research were a teacher and 25 of the third-grade students at State Elementary School 006 Pasir Sialang. This research was conducted for two cycles and every cycle comprised two meetings. Observation and written test were the techniques of collecting the data. Based on the research findings, the implementation of Directed Listening Thinking Activity strategy could increase student listening skill. Before the action, student listening skill was 57,22% with low category. After the action was conducted in the first cycle, student listening skill was 81% with good enough category. It increased in the second cycle to 92% with good category. Therefore, it could be concluded that the implementation of Directed Listening Thinking Activity strategy could increase student listening skill on Caring for Animals and Plants theme at the third grade of State Elementary School 006 Pasir Sialang, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency.

Abstract

This research aimed at describing the increase of descriptive essay writing skill on Indonesian Language subject at the fifth grade of State Elementary School 006 Pasir Sialang District through Outing Class learning strategy. It was classroom action research. The subjects of this research were a teacher and 18 students. The objects were Outing Class strategy and descriptive essay writing skill. This research was conducted for two cycles, and every cycle comprised two meetings. Observation, test, and documentation were the techniques of collecting data. The technique of analyzing data was descriptive analysis with percentage. The research findings and data analyses showed that descriptive essay writing skill before the action was still low, and it was 72% or on poor category. After the improvement action by using Outing Class learning strategy was conducted in the first cycle, descriptive essay writing skill increased to 76,1%, and it was on good enough category. In the second cycle, descriptive essay writing skill increased again to 84,8%, and it was on very good category. Therefore, it could be concluded that the implementation of Outing Class learning strategy could increase descriptive essay writing skill on Indonesian Language subject at the fifth grade of State Elementary School 006 Pasir Sialang.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' initial reading skills through the Inductive Model with picture word media in class I students of UPT SDN 004 Langini in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were 20 students, while the objects in this study were the Inductive Model of picture words and for students' beginner reading skills. In this study, 2 cycles were carried out, each cycle was carried out 2 meetings. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, tests and documentation. Based on the increase in the number of students who achieved the learning objective achievement criteria (KKTP) and the increase in the average class and classical scores. The presentation value of classical completeness in cycle I meeting I was 40%, in cycle I meeting II 55%, and cycle II meeting I.65%, then in cycle II meeting II 80%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that through the Inductive Model with Picture Word media, it can improve students' beginner reading skills in class I UPT SDN 004 Langgini.
