Abstract

Management of Zakat has a great potential to fail to optimize the potential of Islamic philanthropy which is significant in tackling poverty and improving the welfare of the people. This article will analyze the effectiveness of zakat management in the modern economy. This research uses an empirical or sociological juridical approach and is analytically descriptive. Data collection methods in this research using documentation. Whereas the method of data analysis, carried out qualitatively juridical. The results of the research are the requirements for the fffectiveness of receiving zakat funds at Badan Amil Zakat Nasional; (1) Establish the concept of expansion in zakat obligations, (2) Management of zakat from fixed assets and non-permanent assets, (3) Accountable and professionally managed administration, (4) An accountable distribution; prioritizing domestic distribution, fair distribution, build trust between Muzakkī and Mustaḥiq zakat, (5) Job productivity through Islamic management and (6) Zakat distribution model in modern economy; distribution of zakat for poverty due to unemployment (a compulsion) and distribution of zakat for poverty due to unemployment of Khiyāriyah (an option).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the ability of teachers in the planning, implementating and evaluating the learning outcomes. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation study. The subjects of the study are the school principal, vice principal in the curriculum division, student representatives and teachers.The results of the study show that: (1) The ability of teachers to plan character-based learning so far has had an impact on the development of attitudes and teaching methods of teachers (2) The implementation of character-based learning has a positive impact on the improvement of the character for whole students. However, teachers have less skilled in choosing and utilizing media, learning resources, the methods to support character-based learning goals.The teacher is unfamiliar to using multimedia learning media, (3) Evaluation of character-based learning outcomes for students give an excellent result related to the level of change that happen to the students, but there are also students who still need special attention and guidance in order to shape the character.Keywords: character education, teacher performance, islamic education, civic education.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v11.i3.202118

Abstract

Temulawak (Curcuma xanthorhizaRoxb) digunakan untuk pengobatan gangguan fungsi hati. Temulawak tidak dapat menghasilkan biji sehingga tanaman temulawak memiliki keragaman genetik yang rendah. Hal ini memungkinkan untuk dilakukan perbanyakan secara in vitro dengan mutagen kolkisin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari pengaruh pemberian kolkisin pada dua klon temulawak (Sumenep dan Balitro) terhadap perubahan keragaman pertumbuhan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Noember 2015 – Desember 2017 di Laboratorium Kultur Jaringan, dan Laboratorium Pemuliaan Tanaman Jurusan Budidaya Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya, Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolkisin mempengaruhi keragaman pertumbuhan kedua klon temulawak. Klon temulawak Sumenep (UB1) beradaptasi lebih baik dibandingkan klon Balitro (BL).

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of internal control, love of money, and integrity on accounting fraud tendencies at the operations head office of PT. Bank Aceh Syariah. The study sample comprises staff in various roles, including customer service, tellers, accounting division, and finance officers, totaling 81 respondents. The research employed the purposive sampling method, and primary data were obtained through questionnaires administered to the participants. The analytical approach utilized multiple linear regression analysis. The findings reveal that, both simultaneously and partially, internal control, love of money, and integrity significantly influence the tendency of accounting fraud at PT. Bank Aceh Syariah's operations head office.

Abstract

The achievement of unmet need for family planning in the last two years has decreased from 14,7 percent in 2022 to 11,5 percent in 2023. However, that rate is still high because 2024 RPJMN target of unmet need for FP in Indonesia is 7,4 percent. The policies made by the government to reduce unmet need for FP are utilizing ICT and improving access to family planning services. Thus, this research aims to study the relationship between utilizing ICT and access with unmet need for FP in Indonesia. Based on data from 2017 IDHS, the analytical method used in this research are binary and multinomial logistic regression. The results show that the variable of ICT’s devices has a negative relationship with total unmet need for FP, for spacing, and limiting births. Internet has a positive relationship with total unmet need for FP and for spacing births, but negative relationship with unmet need for limiting births. Access to family planning services has a negative relationship with total unmet need for FP and for limiting births. So, it can be concluded that reducing the womens’s opportunities to have unmet need for FP can be done by utilizing ICT and access to FP services.

Abstract

Eggs are a type of food from poultry that is most consumed by the Indonesian people. Eggs for consumption are the most common eggs on the market. Egg scanning is a form of processing with a combination of certain herbs and boiling. Pindang eggs are a traditional egg processed product that uses protein tanning ingredients The activity was carried out in Aron village, Aceh Besar with the aim of introducing and socializing the use of tea powder and galangal as auxiliary ingredients that can be used in making pindang eggs. This service activity is carried out in several stages, namely counseling and socialization as well as training and assistance to the village community. The results of this service activity went smoothly and the community really appreciated this activity with a lot of public interest to participate and participate in this service activity. Many people are actively discussing and involved with the service team related to community empowerment through this training so that the community gets information and knowledge about the use of tea powder and galangal.
