Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS berbasis software GeoGebra yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. Pengembangan LKS berbasis software GeoGebra ini menggunakan model pengembangan four-D. Namun, mengingat keterbatasan waktu dan biaya yang dimiliki penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap ketiga yaitu tahap develop. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket, lembar observasi dan tes. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif. Validitas dilihat dari isi dan konstruk, menggunakan angket, kepraktisan dilihat dari respon siswa dan guru dan keefektifan dilihat dari prestasi siswa. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS dan media GeoGebra yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif.Kata-kata kunci: LKS, GeoGebra, prestasi belajar, kualitas perangkat pembelajaran

Abstract

Temuan yang diperoleh dalam perkulihaan di jurusan Pendidikan Matematika khususnya pembelajaran Kalkulus Integral menunjukkan bahwa secara kuantitatif hasil belajar Kalkulus Integral selama tiga tahun terakhir masih rendah. Proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan dosen di kelas perlu diperbaiki. Hal ini diantaranya ditunjukkan oleh a) mahasiswa pasif, tidak siap dalam perkuliahan dan dosen jarang menggunakan alat bantu paket program komputer/Mathematica dalam pembelajaran. Dengan melihat kondisi tersebut maka permasalahan yang perlu segera ditangani terkait adalah memilih rancangan dan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat melatih dan sekaligus meningkatkan aktivitas, dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Kalkulus Integral. Salah satu alternatif tindakan yang dapat dilakukan melalui penelitian tindakan kelas secara kolaboratif adalah dengan memanfaatkan pertanyaan - pertanyaan pembimbing dan bantuan program Mathematica melalui Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TPS. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data aktivitas, prestasi belajar dan persepsi mahasiswa. Data tersebut dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi, tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar, dan  prestasi belajar  meningkat dari siklus ke siklus. Untuk persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pemanfaatan pertanyaan-pertanyaan pembimbing dan bantuan program mathematica tergolong positif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS)berbasis open source software GeoGebra yang memenuhi kriteria perangkatpembelajaran menurut Nieveen yaitu valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk siswa kelasVIII SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. Pengembangan LKS berbasis open source softwareGeoGebra ini menggunakan model pengembangan four-D yang dimodifikasimenjadi 3 tahap yaitu: (1) tahap define, (2) tahap design, dan (3) tahap develop. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi untuk mengukur kevalidan perangkat, angket respon siswa dan guru untuk mengukur kepraktisan dan tes prestasi belajar untuk mengukur keefektifan LKS dan media GeoGebra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat yang dikembangkan yaitu LKS dan media GeoGebra telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil uji validasi menunjukkan LKS dan media GeoGebra memenuhi kriteria sangat valid. Kepraktisan dari LKS dan media GeoGebra dilihat dari keterlaksanaan LKS dan media GeoGebra saat pelaksanaan uji coba di kelas VIII A6 SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja. Berdasarkan hasilnya pengolahan data, LKS dan media GeoGebra mendapat tanggapan sangat positif dari guru maupun siswa, sehingga perangkat tersebut dapat dikatakan praktis. Untuk kefektifan, sesuai hasil yang diperoleh LKS dan media GeoGebra sudah dikatakan efektif karena lebih dari 85 % siswa di kelas telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Trigonometri ditinjau dari strategi kuis yang digunakan dan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 4 dan kelas X MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Negara. Dalam penelitian ini, strategi kuis yang digunakan untuk siswa MIPA 5 adalah melalui media Kahoot sedangkan siswa kelas MIPA 5 melalui media WhatsApp. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik tes uraian dan teknik wawancara. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan persentase kesalahan konsep, prosedur dan komputasi yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas X MIPA 4 lebih rendah daripada siswa kelas X MIPA 5. Hal ini berarti strategi kuis yang digunakan merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal.

Abstract

The problem-solving abilities of students were still low because students have not been able to develop their creativity in problem-solving so that a Treffinger learning model is needed by paying attention to students logical- mathematical intelligence. The purpose of this study was at examining the effect of the Treffinger learning model on mathematical problem-solving ability viewed students from logical-mathematical intelligence. The instrument used in this study was logical-mathematical intelligence tests and mathematical problem-solving tests. This study used treatment by level design and the population of this study was X MIPA class of SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja. The sample of this study was determined by using cluster random sampling technique. The data obtained were analysed using a two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result of the study showed that the mathematical problem-solving ability of students who followed the Treffinger learning model is higher than students who followed the conventional learning model. There is an interaction between the learning model and logical-mathematical intelligence towards mathematical problem-solving ability. Students who have high logical-mathematical intelligence are more suitable followed the Treffinger learning model, on the other hand, students who have low logical-mathematical intelligence are more suitable followed conventional learning.

Abstract

The aim of this research was studying whether problem based learning with self assestment affect student self efication and their learning outcome. The population of this research is student of mathematics education department, Sciences Fakulty of Undiksha academic year 2019/2020. The post test only control group design was used for this experimental design. The questioner and test were used gahthering the data, which valid. It’s data the analyzed by using MANOVA. The research showed that silmutaneously there weren’t deference self efication and leaning outcome of differencial calculus between student who learned by problem based learning with self assestment and who learned by conventional learning. But, the analyzed of student worksheet was showed that 83.43% failed in solving HOTS problem in expereiment group, and the other group failed 83.41%. In addition, the results of the open questionnaires related to the use of PBM with self-assessment showed positive results, namely that 87.88% of students said they were happy with PBM with self-assessment, and only 12.12% stated that they were not happy because they had not been able to do their own assessments.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to develop a problem solving oriented e-module of algebra, to analiyze effectiveness of the use of emodule in improving critical thinking skill, and to describe response of students to the e-module. This research was conducted using the design of research and development by adopting a Plomp model as follows: a) preliminary investigation phase, b) design phase, c) realization/construction phase, d) test, evaluation, and revision phase and, e) implementation phase. The result shows that: 1) emodule has been prepared good quality, but still need to be refined again, 2) critical thinking skill of students can be enhanced to good level, 3) the response of students to the lectures which implemented using the e-module is very positive

Abstract

This study aims to improve the character and achievement of students' mathematics learning through online learning oriented to local wisdom and peer assessment. This research is collaborative action research for 12 weeks with two teachers. The subjects of this study were students as many as 61 people. The object studied in this study was the positive character of students including curiosity, critical attitude, and discipline, in the learning process. The instruments used in this research were lesson plans, scoring rubrics, observation sheets, and mathematics learning achievement tests. This research was carried out in 2 Cycles. Student character data was collected using observation sheets and learning achievement was collected by learning achievement tests. To see the validity of the instrument after being used, an expert test was conducted by two lecturers. Data on the character of each student were obtained based on the score from the calculation of points obtained through the observation sheet. Data from observations and learning achievement tests were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that online learning oriented to local wisdom with peer assessment succeeded in improving students’ character and learning achievement in mathematics. Furthermore, there were also some obstacles in learning such as 5% of students who were late in submitting assignments and there were students who did not join virtual face-to-face meetings or during discussions through WAG.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of portfolio assessment and learning independence on learning outcomes by considering logical mathematical intelligence (KLM). This experimental study uses a treatment by level 2×2 design. The population is all students of the Mathematics Study Program, FMIPA Undiksha who took the Integral Calculus course in the even semester of   2016 years, with a sample of 88 people taken randomly. Data were analyzed by ANACOVA. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the learning outcomes of students whose learning process was accompanied by a portfolio assessment were higher than students whose learning was accompanied by an essay assessment before and after KLM was controlled. The finding in this study is that learning independence has no significant effect on student learning outcomes before KLM is controlled, while after KLM is controlled learning independence has a significant effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesalahan mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan soal kalkulus integral. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah 10 mahasiswa semester 2 prodi Matematika Undiksha tahun akademik 2020/2021 yang rerata skor ujian tengah semester dan ujian akhir semester kurang dari 40. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah peneliti sebagai instrumen utama, sedangkan soal tes kalkulus integral, dan pedoman wawancara sebagai instrumen pendukung. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan ada 50% mahasiswa membuat kesalahan tipe careless errors (Ca), 60% tipe concept errors (Co), 70% tipe application errors (Ap) dan 60% tipe test taking errors (Te). Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan mahasiswa melakukan kesalahan adalah kurang memahami konsep, bingung memilih teknik integrasi, dan kurang memahami soal aplikasi.
