Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, kepercayaan diri siswa, dan mengetahui tanggapan siswa melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick. Penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan selama tiga siklus di kelas V A dengan jumlah siswa  26 orang. Tes kemampuan komunikasi matematika dengan tes uraian yang dilaksanakan pada akhir tiap siklus, sedangkan angket untuk mengumpulkan data kepercayaan diri dan tanggapan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Bermula dari 23,46 pada refleksi awal menjadi 76,36 pada siklus III. Begitu pula dengan ketuntasan belajar siswa yang mengalami peningkatan dari 7,69% pada refleksi awal dan terus meningkat menjadi 84,63% pada siklus III. Rata-rata skor kepercayaan diri siswa pada siklus I yang berawal dari 68,15 meningkat menjadi 77,96 pada siklus terakhir, dan tanggapan siswa berada pada kategori positif.  Ini menggambarkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick pada siswa SD merupakan solusi alternative untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dan kepercayaan diri siswa.

Abstract

This ex post facto study aims to describe and examine the differences in perceptions of public junior high school students in the Klungkung sub-district towards online mathematics learning in terms of gender and student learning styles. This research population is all class VII SMP Negeri students in Klungkung sub-district for the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 1017 students. The sampling technique used is a cluster random sampling technique with a total sample of 124 students. The research instrument used was a questionnaire on learning styles and students' perceptions of online mathematics learning. The instrument used is valid with reliability of 0.721 for the learning style questionnaire and 0.753 for perception. The data were analyzed using the two-way ANOVA and then the Scheffe test. The results showed that: 1) there were differences in students' perceptions of online mathematics learning in terms of gender, and 2) in students' perceptions of online mathematics learning in terms of learning styles. and 3) simultaneously, there are no differences in students' perceptions of online mathematics learning regarding gender and learning styles. With the results of this study, it is hoped that in the future, teachers will no longer differentiate the gender of students and can be more familiar with students' learning styles. This can help teachers provide variations in learning according to the gender and character of students' learning styles. Keywords: gender, learning styles, perceptions, online mathematics learning

Abstract

Learning mathematics at SMPLB is similar to normal schools in general. The difference is only in the substance of the material and the way the teacher teaches the material in class, where the interaction is carried out using sign language, hand gestures, and emphasis on lip movements which is called total communication. This study analyzed the effectiveness of implementing the discovery learning model in learning mathematics in deaf special schools (SLB). This research is included in the type of evaluation study research. The sample of this study was a mathematics teacher and deaf SMPLB students in grades seven and eight who were taken using a cluster random sampling technique. The number of teachers involved is 3, and the number of students is 18—data collection methods used in questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive using the Z-score formula. The results showed that implementing the discovery learning model in learning mathematics in SMPLB for deaf students was classified as less effective. The context variable had a positive score, the input score was negative, the process variable had a negative score, and the product variable had a negative score. The teacher is classified as effective, the context is positive, the input is positive, the process is negative, and the product is positive. The study findings showed that there were as many Z scores with positive signs as negative ones, so the results were equal to zero. Then a positive score was given because Z was closer to the positive score. It happened because the number of research samples was even. Evaluation of implementing the discovery learning model in learning mathematics during a pandemic at SMPLB B for teachers showed that the results were classified as effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik, kelayakan, kepraktisan dan efektivitas LKPD elektronik melalui liveworksheet untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi bilangan bulat kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, tetapi hanya sampai tahap development. Subjek pada kajian ini ialah 2 ahli materi, 2 ahli media, 2 guru matematika dan siswa sebanyak 7 orang untuk uji coba kelompok kecil. Media LKPD elektronik yang dikembangkan sudah melalui uji kelayakan dengan rata-rata skor totalnya adalah 4,62 yang termasuk kategori sangat layak, uji kepraktisan dengan rata-rata persentase dari angket respon guru dan angket respon peserta didik adalah 93,65% dan termasuk kategori sangat praktis, dan uji efektivitas dengan nilai N-Gain yakni 0,71 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Jadi, media LKPD elektronik yang dibuat dalam penelitian ini telah layak, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

Due to the pandemic, teachers need to make breakthroughs in carrying out online learning by utilizing the right online learning media, one of which is the Sevima Edlink application, because Sevima EdLink is an application that can be accessed via a computer or Android, and is free and without installation.This study aims to improve students' achievement and discipline in learning mathematics through the application of the sevima edlink assignment method in online learning on matrix material and matrix transformation. This research is a classroom action research covering three cycles with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were all 36 students of class XI MIA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Seririt. Data were collected through mathematics learning achievement tests and learning discipline questionnaires. The results show that students' mathematics learning achievement in each cycle has increased. Cycle I, the average student's mathematics achievement test was 70.70; in the second cycle of 74.48,; and in the third cycle of 76.33. Student learning discipline also increased, in the first cycle the average value of mathematics learning discipline obtained by students was 77.39 in the high category; in the second cycle the value of the discipline of learning mathematics obtained by students was 79.79 in the high category; and in the third cycle the value of the discipline of learning mathematics obtained by students was 82.17 in the high category. So it can be said that the application of the sevima edlink assignment method in online learning can improve mathematics learning achievement and student learning discipline.

Abstract

The low ability of students to solve mathematical problems through key aspects such as decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic thinking occurs due to a lack of creative strategies in learning. This study aims to provide an in-depth understanding of these obstacles and propose more effective learning strategies. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were 40 students of grade VII junior high school. Research subjects with low computational thinking skills or obtained the lowest total score of 5 students. The data collection method used in this study was by computational thinking skills test and in-depth interview. The computational thinking ability test was carried out using questions adapted from the Bebras Task questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study are (1) the computational thinking ability of grade VII junior high school students is classified as medium with the percentage of each component of computational thinking ability is 47.25% (decomposition), 35.25% (pattern recognition and generalization), 50.38% (abstraction), and 29.88% (thinking algorithms); (2) Obstacles faced by students in solving mathematical problems that cause students who have computational thinking skills, categories including students who are not accustomed to sorting information as activities in the components of abstraction skills and the core of computational thinking skills. The implications of these findings suggest that research subjects in the lower category computational thinking skills have a tendency to struggle in mastering the abstraction skill component.

Abstract

This community service was carried out due to concern about the psychological trauma experienced by students in Gugus II Bebandem caused by frequent natural disasters (volcanic eruption), which have led to a decline in students’ understanding of mathematics. Considering the limited conditions and situation, the solution to address this issue is to utilize the GASING method (Gampang, Asyik, and Menyenangkan) in meaningful and enjoyable mathematics learning in the Gugus II area of Bebandem District. The education and training conducted have successfully addressed the existing problems. This is evidenced by: (1) Teachers participated fully and enthusiastically in the activities until the end of the activity, as indicated by an overall attendance rate of 100% and participant activity during the training at 98.2%, categorized as very active; (2) The results of the teacher response questionnaire to the activities showed a positive percentage of 93.7%; and (3) It was conclude that the GASING method is highly suitable for implementation in the mathematics learning of Gugus II Bebandem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) peningkatan efikasi diri siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika, dan (2) tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan strategi penilaian diri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TKJ 1 SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja sebanyak 27 orang siswa pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Data efikasi diri siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner efikasi diri, dan tanggapan siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan angket tanggapan siswa. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor efikasi diri siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 8,53 dari 77,07 pada siklus I menjadi 85,6 pada siklus II, dan sebesar 2,9 dari 85,6 pada siklus II menjadi 88,5 pada siklus III, serta rata-rata skor tanggapan siswa telah berada dalam kategori sangat positif. Peningkatan efikasi diri siswa terjadi karena guru lebih menekankan pada: (1) memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk dapat melakukan penilaian diri yang sangat efektif bagi siswa, (2) pemberian bimbingan dan motivasi kepada siswa agar semakin percaya diri dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran TANDUR berbantuan kartu petunjuk terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Sukasada. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Sukasada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 170 orang yang terdistribusi ke dalam 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian menggunakan 2 kelas yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, dari hasil pengundian terpilih kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII A sebagai kelas kontrol. Data mengenai prestasi belajar matematika siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes essay yang telah valid dan reliable. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji-t satu ekor dengan bantuan SPSS 16.0. Hasil analisis menunjukkan dan sig sebesar dengan taraf signifikasi 5%. Oleh karena itu yang berarti bahwa prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan model pembelajaran TANDUR berbantuan kartu petunjuk lebih baik daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan penguasaan materi ajar matematika bagi guru-guru SD di kecamatan Tabanan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan/diklat. Materi diklat meliputi materi ajar matematika untuk kelas rendah (2-3), yang meliputi konsep bilangan dan pecahan serta operasinya. Prosedur evaluasi untuk menilai keberhasilan kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah sebagai Pre-test dan post test dan Observasi. Kegiatan dikatakan berhasil jika minimal 85% sasaran hadir, dan minimal 85% peserta hadir yang hadir mengikuti secar penuh. Dari hasil tes terkait bilangan bulat dan pecahan diperoleh bahwa tingkat penguasaan materi guru lumayan baik, karena rata-rata skor test terendah adalah 72 dan peserta yang hadir 23 orang dari 25 orang yang diundang (lebih dari 85%). Respon guru terhadap materi yang disajikan sangat tinggi, ini ditunjukkan oleh antusias guru mengajukan permasalahan dan memberikan tanggapan jika diberikan permasalahan.
